“Richelle went above and beyond to tire out my tireless cattle dog mix, taking her on many grand adventures and playing with her throughout the trip. She was excellent at communicating, so I never had any worries, even with Scout’s daily medication and reluctance to eat. My house was very clean when I got home, and Richelle even fixed up Scout’s favourite toy, which had seen better days. We would be happy to have her back anytime!”

“It was such a pleasure having Monet house sit and take care of both of our French bulldogs. She was great at communicating with updating us with pictures! I couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Sonja was absolutely amazing! She really helped us out in such a pinch when we really needed her. It is very hard for me to leave my dog with anybody, and I rarely do it, so I was very particular who could watch him and my instincts were correct. Sonja is a very good person and a genuine animal lover. Her love for animals is palpable and not at all a performance. My dog loved her from the minute he met her and he was in excellent hands with her.”

“Alynne did a very good job. I was nervous leaving my cat overnight because she has a lot of needs but Alynne took very good care of her. She was fed during her meal times and Alynne clearly offered her lots of cuddles and affection since she was so relaxed and happy when I saw her again.”
About: Hi, I'm Mari! I love all different types of dogs, energy levels and sizes. Having grown up with a chocolate lab that I trained from puppyhood, I'm comfortable with puppies and most types of training you might be working on (leash training, recall). I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and am happy to adjust my services to meet their energy levels, including runs for more active dogs. I have spent time at shelters working with dogs of all ages and needs, and have developed a great understanding of dog behaviour and care. Whether your dog needs a walk, run, or training support, I’m happy to provide it! I am working a flexible job and have time to work dog walking and care into my schedule quite consistently. I try to keep my Rover calendar as updated as possible, so that shows most of my availability. My top priority is safety for your furry friend! I ensure that your home is secure before each walk or visit. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, such as feeding routines or preferred walking routes, to maintain consistency for their pet.
“Maia was fantastic! She took such great care of my cat Freddy and our 3-month-old kitten Penelope over the weekend! She followed our routine perfectly, sent regular updates and adorable photos, and it was clear they were in great hands! We came home to two happy, relaxed cats. Would absolutely book with her again. Thanks so much, Maia!”

“Chantal was wonderful. My pups were well cared for and my home was spotless when I returned. Chantal took the time to set the routine with the dogs and I could tell she understood their needs and quirks and made sure they were comfortable. I would absolutely have Chantal back again!”

“Great communication overall and followed through with all requests. Stayed with our dog overnight in our home and he was a happy pup when we returned. Thank you so much for looking after Murphy!”

“Danielle was a wonderful sitter my little dog fell instantly in love as soon as Danielle came for our meet and greet. She was punctual and reliable letting me leave Chico in his own home where I know he is safe and happy. When we got home Chico didn’t want Danielle to leave a great reference from Chico 😊💕💕”

“Isabelle took great care of our dog Max who needs special attention due to his anxiety and high needs. She spent time with him, groomed him, and helped him feel loved while we were away on vacation. We would definitely recommend Isabelle to anyone looking for a dog sitter”

“Kelsey accepted our booking on short notice and was fantastic! Totally knowledgable, trustworthy, and communicative. Came home to happy animals and a house that looked just as we left it!”

“Aly was great at taking care of my two small dogs. I had a conference in Vancouver so I was out for two days. Not only was she great at letting me know the status of my dogs, pictures videos and proper communication, but she also kept the house super clean and when I came back, things were cleaner than before! Hats off to an amazing service experience by Aly. I recommend her 100%.”

“The minute we met Jessie, we knew she'd be the right person to spend time with our dog, Stella. Jessie is warm, kind, and the minute our rather shy dog met her, she was comfortable. We were gone eight days, and each day we'd get an update, a picture, and felt a sense of relief that she was not only fine, but thriving (the dog that is!) Upon our return home, the place was spotless, organized, and Jessie had even set up something to capture fruit flies!! We will definitely be calling on her again.”

Frances took amazing care of our dogs and home. She spent a ton of time taking the dogs on walks and snuggling with them. They seemed very happy and clam when we got home. We have already booked her again for our summer travels! So communicative and easy to work with as well!

Alynne did a very good job. I was nervous leaving my cat overnight because she has a lot of needs but Alynne took very good care of her. She was fed during her meal times and Alynne clearly offered her lots of cuddles and affection since she was so relaxed and happy when I saw her again.
Juliana took wonderful care of my dog Ginger. We were very nervous as this was our first time using Rover and Ginger is quite fussy and anxious. Juliana took great care of Ginger, provided very frequent updates, videos and photos. Ginger was so excited to see Juliana. Ginger was well taken care of and got a lot of exercise. Thank you very much Juliana !

I reached out to Jessica last minute and I am so thankful she was available to watch the 2 cats. She sent us some updates and photos and the cats were very snuggled up. On top of that, she left the house in great shape for us to come home to. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you so much Jessica!

I left my dog Riley in Emery’s care at my house for two weeks. I will admit I was a little nervous at first because Emery is on the younger side and I had never used Rover before. My nerves settled after we met prior to the pet sitting service. She has a way with dogs and putting them at ease. Riley liked her immediately and I was impressed with her level of maturity and thoughtful questions she asked. Once away, I received daily text updates with photos. By day two Riley (who sleeps in bed with me) was nestled into the covers with Emery and I was totally relaxed knowing she was in great hands. Emery cared for her like she was her own and communicated regularly about their adventures together. She even spoiled Riley with a few new toys, which she absolutely loves! I would 100 percent hire Emery again and recommend her to others looking for pet sitting! Thank you, Emery!!

Jessie was wonderful with our high energy shepherd, Lucy. She sent lots of photos of their walks and cuddle time, and Lucy looked so happy in every one. Jessie was also a great communicator and very flexible when our plans changed slightly. We’d happily book with her again.

I felt good about Leesa right away. She’s calm, personable and a great communicator. My cat is wary of strangers and it didn’t take long for Leesa to melt down her wariness and gain her trust and affection. Leesa was good about keeping in touch and sent along photos and videos. When I returned, Hazel was calm, well-cared for and the house was incredibly tidy, linens laundered, - which was very unnecessary, but thoughtful. All around a very positive experience and I would definitely ask Leesa to look after Hazel and home again.

Miriam looked after our cat Zoey when we were in a bit of a bind trying to find a sitter over the Christmas holidays. We were very impressed with how conscientious she was how well she handled Zoeys medication and every day needs. We returned home to a clean home and well taken care of pet. Definitely would recommend Miriam :)
