About: The most important part of understanding an animal is reading their body language and observing their behavior. They tell us very clearly what they're feeling/needing. Once they feel understood, safe and sense the loving vibe, everything is calm. I have been an animal lover all my life, with both cats and dogs in my home. I have a very friendly, playful 2 year old mixed-breed dog who gets along with every dog he's ever met. He's gentle with the little ones and seniors and adores finding a dog friend with similar energy to wrestle and run with. If your dog is social, mine will make yours feel right at home. I do not have a fixed schedule, so I am flexible and have time to watch and ensure that everyone is happy and getting along. I have a large fenced yard and am close to several good trails and beaches. Every day will be filled with a fun dog adventure.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve worked years in shelters and have 5 years experience in veterinary clinics, so in addition to my own curiosity and knowledge about dogs/cats, I have learned a lot in this time. I’ve walked/taken care of many friends’ and family’s pets before, and am very familiar with chronic medication as well as knowing how to respond to potential emergency situations. I am great at reading animal behaviour and assessing their needs to maintain comfort and happiness. I am a mature, kind, and responsible individual who has been trusted time and time again with other peoples’ furbabies. I love to share my affection with other animals and make them feel comfortable. I largely work from home full time, but the rare day I am away in the field for work. Time from home is variable depending on the task, and can range from 2-10 hrs. Otherwise, I am doing office work at home and with my two furbabies all day! In my home, my two are given free rein over the house, although they mostly just sleep during the day. They are fed 3 times per day, at specific times, and Murphy gets a walk a day at minimum. In a client’s home, I would adjust to their needs and routine as per their owner’s requests!

I currently share my home with my friendly 10-year-old Cockapoo, Luna, who loves having canine visitors. My partner, Trevor, and I have both cared for dogs through Rover as well as for friends and family over the years, so your pup will be in experienced, caring hands. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have company for most of the day and won't be left alone for long periods. I know every dog is different, and I'm happy to follow their routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. As a dog owner myself, I also know how reassuring it is to receive updates while you're away. I love getting photos of Luna when I'm travelling, so I'll send regular photos and messages to keep you updated on all of your pup's adventures. If Trevor or I ever need to step out briefly, we also have indoor cameras so we can check in remotely and ensure everyone is safe and comfortable.
