About: I've been surrounded by dogs since I was two years old, and my family adopted Tasha, a husky blue heeler cross. After that, a new rescue dog would join our family every few years, each with their own unique quirks and special accommodations. This was the case until I left for university. I love animals of all sorts, and am excited to make some new pawed pals. My approach is centered around the idea of no force, no fear. I have plenty of time available to give the best care possible to your pets, and will arrive happily on my bicycle, rain or shine. I'm my home pets have access to the whole place, and are treated essentially as equals (minus access to food). The place is a spacious one bedroom suite in a single family home on a quiet street. I also have a "wild" fenced-in backyard any animal visitors are free to roam. My home includes Shadow, a street-hardened-now-pampered elder indoor cat. In your home, I will respect all house rules (obviously?) If my rates are too much, but my service alligns with what you're after, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I do my best to offer a sliding rate, taking into consideration details such as a person's financial and housing security. In an effort to provide full transparency, please know that 20% of my fees go to Rover.

I’ve had cats my entire life and have cared for dogs and cats for extended periods, including pets needing medications and diabetic cats requiring injections. I live in a house with a small backyard and am close to a dog park, neighbourhood walks and nearby trails. I also have a car for outings. I have a small two-year-old Frenchie and a confident six-year-old cat who are both part of our home. I’m happy to do boarding and daycare for well behaved pups, and home visits . About: I’ve had dogs all my life and my good friends have been using Rover and sold me on it. I’m newly retired and would love to share the extra space and perhaps when I travel I can look after your dog at your home while you travel? I have an awesome cat and two bassets. The cat will hide while stranger dogs are here Being retired I walk my dogs at least twice a day and my university aged sons are around for backup and pettings. I’ve had quite a bit of experience dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and my boss, often caring for multiple pets at the same time. I genuinely love being around animals and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. I also have a 7-year-old Toy Poodle of my own, so I’m very familiar with the day-to-day responsibility of caring for a pet. He has a very strict diet, and I always need to keep a close eye on him to make sure he doesn’t pick up or eat anything he shouldn’t. Because of this, I’m used to staying attentive and keeping an eye on pets throughout the day. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to the little things, and I always want the pets in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and well loved. 🐾 I currently work part-time online from 4–7 p.m., so I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This gives me plenty of time to care for, play with, and keep an eye on your pups throughout the day. There’s also a dog park nearby, so I can take them out for a walk and some playtime during the day. I’m available for boarding most days of the week, and even while I’m working, I’m able to stay home with the pets. I love having animals around and will make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and company throughout the day. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, and this is actually my preference as my apartment is fairly small. I find that staying in their familiar environment can also help pets feel more comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. When staying at a client’s home, I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and any special care or medication they need. I have a 7-year-old Toy Poodle named Mickey who is very friendly. For overnight house sitting, I’m available if Mickey is able to come with me, or if your home is close enough to mine that I can easily go back and forth to feed and care for him. I would always discuss this with you beforehand to make sure the arrangement works well for everyone.
