Pets are family in my home
I've owned dogs of various breeds most of my life. I was without one for about 6 years and my home felt a bit empty but I got a lot of enjoyment from friends, family, and neighbor's dogs. I also often had my grand-dog, Rejge for sleepovers (and still do)! Recently, I adopted an adorable older Cavalier King Charles, Lili. She enjoys having new friends come to stay with us occasionally. I live 2 blocks from the beach, which is where I'll most often take the dogs for walks. My condo building has lots of green space, and backs onto a park, so your dog can always find that "perfect piece of grass" to take care of business. :) I am retired, and am home most of the time. My regular "out of the house" activity is paddling, which I do 3 times/week. Dogs have full run of my 750 square foot condo. Without exception, every dog I've cared for has most enjoyed my enclosed patio -- watching people, squirrels, deer, ducks, peacocks come and go! I live in a dog friendly building; many of my neighbors have dogs, so there will likely be options for your dog to make other friends while here!

Suzanne was exceptionally patient and kind with our dog, and it was clear she genuinely cared about him and attended to his needs. She kept us updated with photos during his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog looked happy, relaxed, and really seemed to enjoy his time with her. We will definitely ask her to take care of him again when we come back to Victoria!
We had a wonderful experience with Suzanne while we were away for 10 days. She sent us plenty of photos and updates, which gave us great peace of mind and let us follow along with all of our dog’s fun adventures. Our dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. We would happily book with her again!
Suzanne was a perfect minder for Sophie. She provided Sophie with a very comfortable home replacement and daily routine. I enjoyed receiving photo update while I was away. I couldn't ask for a better dog minder!
I wish we lived in Victoria so that Simon could stay again. Super appreciate the photos, and Simon had a lovely walk and an all around great day. Thanks again!
Suzanne is a fantastic sitter! Her space is lovely and she took great care of my pup while I was away, including lots of walks. I will be happy to bring Zephyr back for another stay sometime 😊

Schedule
I am currently retired, with lots of time to spend caring for, playing with, and taking your dog for walks. I paddle 3 times/wk, during which time your dog will be left at home.

Dogs have full run of my 750 square foot condo. Most of them especially enjoy spending time on the lounge chair I have on my enclosed balcony. :)
A typical day
Your dog will be taken for a 15-30 minute walk at least twice/day. If your dog enjoys playing with a "chuck it", there's a couple of great spots on the property to do that as well! If your dog likes to cuddle, so do I!
