About: My family has welcomed many pups into our lives! Between the whole family there are 2 goldens, 2 frenchies, 1 whoodle, and 1 puggle. I am very responsible and understanding to the fact it can be hard to let others look after your fur baby, as well as the responsibilities when looking after dogs! (and cats). I take whichever pups are around on long walks each weekend I come home, rain or shine. I do have a car, so going to fun destinations is an option (if comfortable). I am open to playing fetch at a field to going on short flat walks to longer hikes or going on a beach walk! About: I have taken care of dogs for over 8 years now. I walked my dogs everyday as well as helping out my neighbours by walking their dogs for them. I regularly dog sit for my neighbours which includes keeping them fed, walked, clean and happy! I am a full time substitute teacher, so I am usually available after 3pm and into the evenings. I am completely available every weekend for pet care. In your home I will keep your pets safe by always staying near them and watching them while outside. I will provide comfort and make sure all their basic needs are taken care of while also providing them lots of love!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me since I was a kid, and I’ve owned my own dogs since 2020. I’ve taken positive reinforcement puppy training courses as well as reactivity specific lessons, so I’m comfortable reading early warning signs in anxious or reactive dogs and know how to de-escalate rather than just react. I’m also experienced handling big, strong dogs confidently and safely on leash. Before having my own, I dog sat regularly for friends, so I’ve got a solid range of temperaments and routines under my belt. I work from home running my own business, which means I’m around during the day most weekdays and have flexible availability for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I can work around specific feeding or walk times rather than squeezing visits into a rigid window. While house sitting, I treat your home like a guest would; respecting your space, sticking to your pet’s normal routine, and keeping things exactly as I found them. Ever since I was little I was always ready to take care of my neighbours dogs and cats whenever they went on vacation so I have tons of experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. Whether that means spending time playing in the lawn, cuddling up on couches, daily check-ins or adventurous walks! About: My family has cared for dogs my entire life. I have been a caregiver for up to five dogs at a time, of all shapes and sizes. I have cared for shepherds, labs, yorkies, malteses' and chihuahuas. I regularly dogsit for my friends who have labs and pitbulls. I have trained puppies, and taken care of elderly dogs. I can also regularly take high energy dogs for long runs, as I am a marathon runner. I work from home, so it is easy to pet sit throughout the week so long that I have stable internet connection and a quiet spot to take meeting calls. I am available on weekends - willing and able to take the dog to a beach, dog park, regular park, on the trails, etc. I am able to care for the animal in whatever capacity you need your animal cared for. For sleeping arrangements I can crate the dog, allow it in my room, or even on the bed. I am comfortable with off leash walks if the bylaw permits it, and as long as the dog has strong recall. I can walk or run your dog for up to three times a day, and am capable of up to three feeding times a day as well. I can give the dog enrichment time whether that means some intentional training, play in a park or the backyard, or food driven games. If I were to take your dog to the beach for example, I have no problem bathing the dog after, and same goes for if they getting muddy on a walk. Routine and a schedule is important for an animal especially when their human is away from them, so I try to keep the animals environment as consistent as possible to reduce stress.

About: Grew up with three very stubborn terriers that required lots of structure and enrichment. Helped my family take care of them through all ages, from puppy to senior, including special caare such as medications I generally am able to work remotely with internet access as I am a graduatae student at UVIC. I have to be on campus Thursday & Friday 8-4 but I am able to return home to take for walks or bring to campus if pets are comfortable with that. I strive to provide the best environment for your pet and will do everything possible to ensure their comfort. I am unable to take pets into my own home, but I can provide outdoor time or make their own space as familiar as possible.

About: I have had pets of all kinds my whole life from hamsters to turtles to cats and my father later in life adopted dogs for me to care for when returning home. I started taking care of dogs when I was travelling for work in the USA through Trusted Housesitters with my partner. After having a child we have had fish, enjoy taking our friends' dogs for morning walks and cat-boarding for colleagues at work. I love living in Victoria and am lucky to live in a nice neighbourhood with big parks and nice walks. Walking is my favourite exercise and walking with company is the best! I am going to use the dog walking extra money to fundraise for my daughter's trip to DisneyLand this February 2027. I want to walk dogs in the morning before work and school for exercise and enjoy the early hours. I am also raising money to go on a trip to Disney Land. Having used Trusted Housesitters, I have stayed in other people's houses to care for their pets for up to a month. I also used to run an Airbnb with my partner so we could travel and have experience cleaning and taking care of the home with pets. I keep a clean and tidy home with my daughter, mostly to keep track of everything haha 😂 I have split level apartment at the top two floors of a house with open spaces and 2 bathrooms. I have a gated front patio and a giant dog park across the street. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the great weather of Victoria.

About: I have a beautiful, sweet kitty in my life but I need more love and I’m hoping to get it from your pets! I grew up on a hobby farm with all sorts of animals. I have experience with cats, dogs, small animals, birds, large livestock and even insects and arachnids. I have to say living in the farm has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Through my many years experience with pets I have learned to read the body language and eye contact of a variety of animals making it easier to build trust and a better connection. I’m attentive and affectionate and am confident your loved ones will be in safe in my loving hands. I work part time from home in the insurance industry but would love to eventually make Rover my fulltime career. I am able to take your pet outside to the bathroom anytime of the day and can go for mini walks on my breaks before the big adventure after work.
