About: Have cared for animals my whole life, have two sweet elderly doodles and a bunny back home. In Montreal for school and cannot have any pets of my own but I miss caring for animals. Experienced at cat and home sitting. Love taking long walks with pups and giving lots of pets :) Currently a student in Classical Archaeology, but only have class a few days a week, and have lots of free time to give lots of walks and attention to any fur babies. I live in a townhouse downtown without a yard, but near lots of public parks and Mount Royal park which provide great walks and enrichment.

About: I’ve been a dog and cat sitter since high school, first sitting for family and friends and now doing it as a side job as well as while travelling. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and cats of all temperaments. Open to most areas of Victoria, and have a reliable vehicle to get to and from sits, and take dogs out for nice walks in the parks or hiking trails of the area. I currently work full time 9-5, so am primarily available for stop in care or overnights with cats and other lower maintenance animals comfortably with being home for a work day. This is home has quick and easy access to green spaces, with many trees & plants for great sniffing opportunities. Cuddles and belly rubs are the standard here. About: I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was a little girl! I always wanted to own a dog or a cat, but grew up with guinea pigs. My piggies were an anchor in my life and taught me lots about little animals and caring for them (although I did not know how much cleaning was required 😭). When I started working at petsmart in their grooming salon, I thought working with dogs was going to be super fun and fulfilling. I was definitely not ready for how much work and learning I was going to go through. After I’d been there for about a year, I learned all about grooming (including baths, brushing, nail trims, paw grooming) and how important it was for all the different breeds of dogs. I loved the experience I got from grooming dogs and learning different signs of stress (critical and non critical), different types of brushes for breeds and so much more! Now, I’ve been working at a doggy daycare for about a year, and I’ve extended my experience with dogs to seeing how they play, how they fight, how they get along and become friends. I’ve learned so much about body language, how to differentiate different behaviours and anticipate situations before they happen, and learn to regulate my own emotions in such a big space with lots of dogs. I care for the smallest chihuahas to the biggest bernese alongside my coworkers, as well as the 5 month old puppy that comes in to learn to socialize, and the 12 year old senior who has been with us since the beginning, and I could not be happier anywhere else! I’ve also had the privilege to care for 20-25 dogs at a time in a fully fenced area in the forest as their outdoor adventure. I supervise their play time, their behaviours with the other dogs and their own emotions while being out there. I love all sizes and all ages, and continously learn more about these pups every day 🤍 I am working part time, so I have lots of free time outside of work! I love to hangout with friends and stay at home, but with this free time, I’d love to care for a pup or cat near me in the city :) A fun fact about me is i’m trilingual!
