About: We have owned a dog for the past 27 years of our adult lives…Mica (lab) for 13 years and Calvin (Jack Russell cross) for 14 years, so we are well acquainted with the ins and outs of dog care. We currently don't have a dog, which is our primary motivation to dog sit. Our house is very dog friendly and we are able to deliver medications for senior dogs if necessary. We will take care of your dog as if it were our own! We are a semi-retired professional couple with extra time on our hands. We are home most of the time and available to walk your dog several times a day. We live close to Willows Beach and Uplands Park so the walks are great! We have a fenced yard. Our house is very dog friendly so your dog would have the run of the house with lots of comfortable places to play and sleep.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and currently have two family dogs, a 9-year-old Border Collie x Coonhound and a 7-year-old Boston Terrier, both full of energy! I grew up around many animals and often would pet sit for friends and family. I love spending time outdoors and exploring new trails, and when I lived in Pemberton, I’d take my dogs on 7am hikes and often picked up neighborhood dogs to join us. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and activity levels, and I make sure to give each pet the care and attention they need. I’m a full-time student at Camosun College, but my schedule is very flexible since my classes are spread out and only run Monday–Thursday. I’m usually out of my apartment for no more than 2 hours a day, so I have plenty of time to board animals, give them attention, and make sure their needs are met. Caring for pets also gives me the perfect reason to spend more time outdoors! I live in an apartment, but the complex has lots of open yard space for play and exercise. My favorite way to spend time with dogs is going on walks and hikes, and I’m happy to drive to nearby trails to make sure they get the activity they need. I’m very responsible and always follow any routines, rules, or training you have in place for your pet so they feel comfortable and secure. He's gentle with the little ones and seniors and adores finding a dog friend with similar energy to wrestle and run with. If your dog is social, mine will make yours feel right at home. I do not have a fixed schedule, so I am flexible and have time to watch and ensure that everyone is happy and getting along. About: We have owned a dog for the past 27 years of our adult lives…Mica (lab) for 13 years and Calvin (Jack Russell cross) for 14 years, so we are well acquainted with the ins and outs of dog care. We currently don't have a dog, which is our primary motivation to dog sit. Our house is very dog friendly and we are able to deliver medications for senior dogs if necessary. We will take care of your dog as if it were our own! We are a semi-retired professional couple with extra time on our hands. We are home most of the time and available to walk your dog several times a day. We live close to Willows Beach and Uplands Park so the walks are great! We have a fenced yard. Our house is very dog friendly so your dog would have the run of the house with lots of comfortable places to play and sleep.

About: I absolutely love dogs and have many years of experience caring for them. I share my home with my 9-year-old girl, who still has plenty of energy, we’ve enjoyed two walks a day together for the past nine years. We would be delighted to welcome another dog to join us for walks, companionship, and time spent in our secure fenced yard. Your dog would be treated with warmth, care, and attention as part of our daily routine as I think dogs just love to come along for the ride! I am currently working part time, short day a few days of week and the rest of the time I work from home. I am very active and always puttering around the yard and house as dogs love to follow. I often go on long hikes to get out into the woods! My dog is my best friend, so I understand how important trust and care are. We walk every morning and afternoon, enjoy adventures, and can accommodate your dog’s routine and needs. We live close to great walking trails and the beach. Your dog will be well exercised, closely supervised, given lots of attention, and enjoy our secure fenced yard.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for dogs and cats since childhood. I’ve dog-sat for neighbors, taken friends’ dogs on hikes, and have experience with puppies, senior pets, and reactive dogs who need extra patience. I’ve also house-sat for families with cats and am comfortable with feeding, walks, baths, medication reminders, and creating a calm, safe environment for pets with different needs. I’m currently taking time off working in health care, and am available all day to look after your pet! I enjoy staying at home and getting out for walks in the neighborhood. Pets in my home get a calm, cozy environment that feels like a second home. I live in a two story loft suite, have a front yard (unfenced) and am a 3 minute walk away from View Royal dog park. I will follow your pet’s feeding, walk, and bedtime routines, and I supervise outdoor time with secure leashes/harnesses—no off-leash areas unless you approve. I’m comfortable with reactive or anxious pets and give them space to warm up at their own pace. I keep my home clean, safe, and free from hazards, and I send regular photo updates so you always feel connected while you’re away.
