About: Since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamt of owning a cat, specifically a ragdoll (the cutest). Cats are loyal, sweet creatures that I love taking care of. The little moments when they warm up to you and show signs of affection are why I care for cats and it warms my heart. When working in petsmart in 2024-2025, several cats would come into the grooming area and i’d get the experience of learning signs of stress and how to properly handle them. “SHES ABSOLUTELY AWESOME Promoptly replied back to my dog walking cry for help. Was able to bust a wheel in her whip down to my crib. She kicked in my door stole my dog and she said to me " run run as fast as you can fat man, you won't catch me cuz I'm the ginger bread man. And then she grabbed my dog by the tail with her huge super hero hands jumped off my patio head first. Then in an hour after the door was repaired and back on the hinges she kicked my door back in. She threw my dog across my living room then jumped off the patio head first again. My dog is happier then two pigs in.........shut the front door.”
About: Grew up with three very stubborn terriers that required lots of structure and enrichment. Helped my family take care of them through all ages, from puppy to senior, including special caare such as medications I generally am able to work remotely with internet access as I am a graduatae student at UVIC. I’m a currently a student at UVic with a flexible schedule, so I can reliably fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for drop-in visits, feeding, and short walks on weekdays and weekends, with plenty of time to give pets attention and care without rushing. I am also available for longer stays if needed. I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely and prioritize safety and comfort. In a client’s home, I respect routines, keep doors secure, and monitor pets carefully. I’m especially attentive to feeding schedules, litter or potty needs, and ensuring pets feel calm and safe.

About: I have been around and loving all animals for my whole life. I have had my cats and even over 40 chickens to care for. I have been working with dogs and training them for over a year. Caring for animals in general for 10 years. I give the animals in my care my full attention and love. Taking care of dogs is definitely a huge part of my love for life. About: I am a caring and loving pet sitter that is more than happy to adjust to the needs of your pet! I am very comfortable with both large and small breeds. I have trained many of my own large-breed dogs, including rescue pit bulls, and therefore have a calm temperament that animals enjoy. I am comfortable administering medicine to special needs pets and going for long walks with higher-energy breeds as well. I have owned many dogs and cats in my lifetime, including certain special need breeds like French bulldogs and pugs. About: Hi! I’m Sydney, and I’m new to Victoria but certainly not new to caring for animals! 🐾 I’ve cared for animals across Canada and abroad, including dogs, cats, horses and goats. In high school, I managed the baby barn on a goat farm, caring for around 200 baby goats, including feeding, providing vitamins and supporting those with mobility difficulties. While travelling, I’ve also cared for two dogs and three horses on a farm in Turkey, regularly walked a dog in Germany, and spent two months in Albania caring for a puppy through daily walks, feeding and socialization. In Canada, I’ve looked after dogs of all ages and energy levels, from playful puppies to senior dogs, as well as cats. I’m also a cat parent myself, and my cat is one of my favourite little companions! I genuinely LOVE animals, and it brings me so much joy to be someone pet owners can trust to care for their furry family members while they’re away. I know how important it is to find someone who treats your pets with patience, attention and love, and I want you to feel at ease knowing they’re in good hands. Feeding and medication administration are time-sensitive, so I'll always make sure I'm there when you (and your pet) expect me to be there. Unfortunately (and fortunately!), my home is already shared with a few beautiful animals, so I’m not able to host pets long-term. That said, I absolutely love caring for animals and am happy to provide care in your home. About: I have had pets of all kinds my whole life from hamsters to turtles to cats and my father later in life adopted dogs for me to care for when returning home. I started taking care of dogs when I was travelling for work in the USA through Trusted Housesitters with my partner. After having a child we have had fish, enjoy taking our friends' dogs for morning walks and cat-boarding for colleagues at work. I love living in Victoria and am lucky to live in a nice neighbourhood with big parks and nice walks. Walking is my favourite exercise and walking with company is the best! I am going to use the dog walking extra money to fundraise for my daughter's trip to DisneyLand this February 2027. I want to walk dogs in the morning before work and school for exercise and enjoy the early hours. I am also raising money to go on a trip to Disney Land. Having used Trusted Housesitters, I have stayed in other people's houses to care for their pets for up to a month. I also used to run an Airbnb with my partner so we could travel and have experience cleaning and taking care of the home with pets. I keep a clean and tidy home with my daughter, mostly to keep track of everything haha 😂 I have split level apartment at the top two floors of a house with open spaces and 2 bathrooms. I have a gated front patio and a giant dog park across the street. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the great weather of Victoria.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. A former owner of a golden retriever, I have been counted on to look after friends, family and coworkers dogs for a number of years. I have downloaded Rover to get the chance to meet new friends (dogs and people) since moving to Victoria from Ottawa this fall.
