“I contacted Dorothy months ahead about a drop-in type visit while my husband and I were to be visiting Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, from California for a family wedding. I scheduled with Dorothy to come to our travel trailer in the Living Forest Campground and RV Park for the Meet n Greet to not only meet us, but how to get in our trailer, all about the dogs and their needs. Dorthy listened to all that was needed and then contacted me by text during the scheduled evening when we were gone to let us know she’d been there and handled everything. There were three dogs to walk in two trailers and Dorothy fed each one and took them for walks to get their business done; what a lifesaver she was so that we could be gone for an extended time and all was handled. I recommend Dorothy without hesitation and will use her again if we ever come back to Nanaimo.”
About: Located in Nanaimo, BC in the University District. I’ve grown up always having family dogs and I now have two cats of my own. I used to have a few regular clients that I house sat for a few years ago in Kamloops but i took a few years break from the app. Now that I’ve recently relocated to Nanaimo I’m looking to get back into it again where it’s house sitting, walks or check ins. I have a pretty flexible schedule so as long as i don’t have any conflicting clients I’m available quite often as long as there is a couple hours notice. I have my own vehicle so I’m able to come to your neighbourhood or take your pet to a nearby park for a more enriching environment.

About: I have owned pets for most of my life and I’m 42 (time flies!) but I also spent time Working for PetsMart both on the floor and in the groom shop as well as working in-store at many shops working for Nutrience as a rep to increase pet food sales. I’m currently working part-time so the days I’m available, I’m available all day to be able to spend quality time with your pets! I will treat those days as a typical work day and unless it’s an emergency will schedule appointments around you rather than the other way around In your home I am able to feed, water or administer simple medications if necessary and with proper instruction (however I don’t have a background as a tech and want to be clear on that :). I am happy to let your pets out for an outdoor break or a walk around the block if needed if it’s a stop-in and for dog walking services depending on the time we have I’m happy to take them to wilderness trails but if we have a short time I can also stay close to home, whatever suits your (and their) comfort level and ability.
