She took him to off-leash dog parks and sent lots of photos of him having a great time. She reached out right away when he got a bit of a cut on his paw from running on ice, provided options and kept in touch. We will look to book her again if we have him stay over again. About: We specialize in boarding small to medium dogs, sensitive fur babies, and pooches with medical conditions. Goldens, seniors, and energy-conserving larger dogs may also be considered. We take doggos up for the adventure on a 5K walk each day. Anxious dogs, who prefer their own space are easily accommodated in our large home & fenced yard. Your dog will have the run of the house, & sleep in our bedroom, just like at home! We typically host 1 to 2 furry guests at once to maintain a homey atmosphere where your pet can feel relaxed. My husband and I are both at home full-time to team host furry visitors, giving your pet the attention they deserve. My 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse helps me provide quality care. If your dog prefers to join a pet lover's cat, smoke, child-free family over the chaos of a kennel this could be their home away from home! We typically board one dog at a time so your pet will receive plenty of attention in a relaxed, family atmosphere. We also accept dogs in doggy daycare. There are usually one to two furry guests in our home, which has plenty of hiking trails for your pet to explore literally at its doorstep! Your dog will have the run of our house and access to a fully fenced yard on demand. Expansive floor to ceiling windows and a pet door provide entertaining views and outdoor access. Our home is located in a hiking heaven! Your dog will have the opportunity to join us on daily hikes if that suits their lifestyle and will be cared for in a cat/smoke/child-free environment. We are both dog lovers and offer a homey atmosphere where your pet can feel relaxed. We don't kennel dogs unless their pet parents tell us they prefer to sleep in a kennel. I spent many years as a Registered Nurse and in Infection Prevention and Control and am comfortable providing your pet with their special diet and any of their medications.

About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! We take regular breaks for potty time, backyard play, and plenty of walks—especially since we live right by Holland Creek Trail. We love being outside and staying active, but we’re also happy to just have a dog curled up nearby while we work. Whatever your pup’s energy level, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and included in our routine. Keeping your pup safe, happy, and relaxed is so important to us. Our home is a calm and loving space, with lots of supervision since we’re here all day. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe play, and we always make sure outdoor time is stress-free and fun. About: I have experience with small breeds and terriers all the way up to herding breeds and collies. All ages welcome from puppies to seniors needing meds. I work full time and have core hours, occasionally I need to be in the office or at a client, but evenings and weekends are generally open. I do not offer in home care in my home, but I’m happy to take care of pets in their own home, which often is less disruptive to their routine.

About: I have taken care of over 100 dogs as a volunteer foster mom with the OSPCA. I have recently moved to Ladysmith and am looking forward to being a sitter as I miss those days. About: I moved to Vancouver island from Salt Spring Island 4 years ago. I have 5 + years in the veterinary field industry which helps me provide care if need be to your beloved fur family member. I spend all my free time exploring the beautiful outdoors or cuddling up and watching a movie with my pups. I know the area now very well and would love to take care of your beloved doggies and show them some beautiful adventures and once we finish that, curl up on the couch and end the day with a movie and cuddles! Continuously hiking or cuddling on the couch while watching a movie, they will get lots of cuddles and lots of outdoor activities. They’ll feel very at home💜 I have two well behaved fur babies who are always looking to make new friends and give your fur babies company! They love making new friends!

About: I grew up on a ranch in southern Alberta, caring for multiple litters of kitties and their mama’s, our 4 dogs (German shepherd, great dane, husky and an unknown breed). I’ve also cared for livestock and children, so I like to think I have a keen understanding of the delicate needs of living things! This is currently my only gig while in university! My schedule is flexible toward morning and afternoon care depending on the day, and I’m happy to work out a schedule around my classes/ extracurriculars that best suits your fur baby’s needs. I have not done any Rover pet-sitting ventures yet! (First time) But was engaged with my own animals when we had them. At least 1-2 walks per day for dogs if they can tolerate it, respect for feeding, cleaning and sleep schedules, as well as gentle redirection in any areas of discipline that may require special attention.
