About: Hello, My name is Tara! I am a customer service representative and dancer on the side, and I'm also a huge animal lover! I’ve always grown up surrounded by so many pets which makes me so compassionate towards every fur baby; I have a sense for dogs especially. I had a 13 year old Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier for almost 10 years who has passed on December of 2021. He was my life. Now I vicariously live through the fur babies I get to spend time with and spoil my favourite little frenchie niece! My favourite thing to do is go out and find new and exciting spots to hike on beautiful Vancouver Island. I've pet sat for a lot of family and friends when they’ve gone out of town. I couldn’t imagine my life not being surrounded by furry friends and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I currently work part-time and I’m very active so I have lots of time to take out your dog to various hiking spots all over! I live in a safe neighbourhood and place right off Long Lake. I will make sure your fur baby is safe and feels loved and cared for.
About: Note: I´m flexible and happy to travel (in BC/AB) - longer stays preferred. I can gladly provide excellent references from other Petsitting platforms (11 petsits) and Workaway (3 petsits). Feel free to reach out - I’d be happy to chat and share more! --------- I’ve had the chance to care for several homes and beloved pets in Canada since June 2025. It’s been an incredibly fulfilling experience so far, I have already worked with 10 workaway hosts on totally different projects, each stay was a unique experience. I take pride in being gentle, reliable, and tuned in to each animal’s unique personality. In September 2025, I spent an entire month volunteering at an animal farm sanctuary, where I learned a great deal about rescued animals and those with special needs. It was a deeply enriching experience that expanded my understanding of more than ten different farm animal species. I care deeply about treating every animal with respect and love, and I always take time to understand their unique personalities and needs. I´m a work and traveller from Germany, I finished my bachelors degree in business psychology in November 2025. I'm on the way to start my own remote business, so I´m very flexible about caring for your pets. As a traveling petsitter and workaway, I adapt quickly to new environments and routines. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or keeping the house clean and cozy, I treat every place as if it were my own. I love creating a calm and loving environment for pets while their owners are away, and I’m always happy to help with extra tasks like watering plants or garden work. Only smoke & vapefree households.

About: ✨✨✨ONLY ACCEPTING SITS OF 3 WEEKS + ✨ Special discounts available for stays over 3 months ⸻ About Me: I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets. I’ve had dogs and cats since the age of 5 and spent time living and working on a hobby farm, tending to various animals. I treat every animal with deep respect, intuit their needs, and use only positive reinforcement-based training—a method I apply with both animals and my own child. Cats, well they’re their own person and we absolutely love them! In addition to animal care, I bring extensive home management expertise. I’ve owned multiple properties and ran a successful luxury Airbnb business since 2014, alongside managing my own property management firm for over a decade. I understand the importance of maintaining a home to the highest standard—with care, integrity, and attention to detail. ⸻ Please Note: I only accept housesitting requests in homes that are clean, well-kept, and located in safe, pleasant neighborhoods. I take pride in providing the same level of respect and care for your space as I do my own. When I’m pet sitting I like to include all animals in what we’re doing as much as possible! The more the merrier. Of course if it’s a goat, that’s a different story, but we would be interacting a lot with her anyway. My baby loves animals. Please feel free to ask me any questions that you might have and I will be sure to answer in a timely manner. Thank you!
