About: I've always loved animals. I have a psych degree, and learning about positive re-enforcement and and training pets to do tricks is my favourite thing. I'm self employed so my schedule is flexible. I am also nomadic, so I'm happy to travel to a new place to care for a pet, and be somewhere new I take time to get to know each animal, their wants and needs, and most importantly, their personalities. About: Hi, I’m Carley! I grew up on a farm up north, where caring for animals was part of everyday life. From pigs, chickens, rabbits, cows, horses, and sheep to dogs and cats, being surrounded by animals from a young age shaped my passion for animal care. I currently work at a veterinary clinic as a Veterinary Assistant, as well as at a local animal shelter as an Animal Care Attendant. In these roles, I care for a wide variety of animals including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, rabbits, snakes, hamsters, ferrets, rats, mice, and guinea pigs. Working in both veterinary and shelter environments has given me hands-on experience in animal handling, husbandry, monitoring health and behaviour, and providing compassionate care for animals of all ages and needs. I truly love all animals and always go the extra mile for the ones in my care. I currently work full time, but even though I can only stop in twice a day I will always go the extra mile to make sure they are happy, healthy and safe before I leave I am safe, respectful, reliable and trustworthy. I will always make sure your babies are cared for thoroughly and accordingly to their dietary, medical, or other necessary needs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. I’ve always loved pets and have raised a couple puppies as well. I will be your pets new best friend! Im currently working part time so I will have lots of time to check in on your pets. I’m available most days in the morning and evening. About: I look forward to getting to know your pup, and helping you give them what they need, whether you are away, or are just swamped! I grew up, caring for the family's high energy German Shepherd and Border Collie. When I went to college, I began looking after friends' dogs over night: meals, town and trail walks, water playing, poop clean ups, bed time routines, tick checks in the evening while they settle in for the night. Since then, I have helped manage dogs in work camp settings, and in homes, for friends and coworkers. I have some experience with puppies, seniors and high stress dogs. I have house sat for single nights, weekends, and several weeks at a time, which I enjoy because it helps me get to know your dog better! I am tidy, respectful of your house rules, and I enjoy caring for houseplants when everyone is put to bed. I am living in Duncan, and working in Mesachie Lake. I am happy to do early morning walks, or walks and sitting afer 3:30 pm, throughout the week Monday -Friday. and full days on weekends. I am available for 30minute lunchtime walks in Lake Cowichan Monday - Friday. I am available to house sit upon scheduling request: weekends and weekdays are all fair game! I am respectful of homes, dogs needs and their stresses. For dog walking, I will walk dogs often in leashed areas. I enjoy bringing dogs to off leash trails -only upon your consent- if your dog has shown good recall, and is safe with other dogs and people. The safety of your dogs and other people is at the forefront of my priorities. I will keep you updated on your dog, on walks, checkups or dog sitting. Throughout the day, I'll check out your dog's poops, make sure they don't get into garbage, and following your rules for greeting dogs and other people. For dog sitting, I am attentive to the dog morning, noon and in the evenings. I will not leave the house for more than 4 hours on weekends. I will play with them inside and outdoors, and ensure they get frequent pee and poop breaks.

I do leave the home for errands, appointments, personal activities, and occasionally other scheduled pet-care visits. Before accepting a booking, I’ll confirm how long your pet can comfortably be left alone to ensure their needs are compatible with my schedule. My days are typically calm and structured, making my care especially suitable for pets that enjoy a relaxed environment and consistent routine. While I’m happy to accommodate reasonable care requirements, pets needing continuous supervision or who cannot be left alone should be discussed before booking. I provide house sitting in your pet’s own home, where they can remain comfortable in familiar surroundings. I work from home, so I’m generally present and attentive throughout the day while still coming and going for errands and appointments. For overnight stays, I require a clean, sanitary, and reasonably tidy home with a comfortable sleeping space prepared before my arrival. This includes freshly laundered bed linens, clean towels, and access to a clean bathroom and functional kitchen. Essential utilities and appliances must be working, and doors, windows, fences, and gates must be secure. Housekeeping or preparing the home for my stay is not included in the pet-sitting service. Please disclose any household concerns, maintenance issues, indoor cameras, or areas that are off-limits before the booking. I also require an honest and complete description of each pet’s health, temperament, routines, training, and behaviour. Pets should be reasonably clean, and the home must be free from fleas, bedbugs, or other infestations. Any history of aggression, biting, resource guarding, escape behaviour, separation anxiety, or indoor accidents must be disclosed before I accept the booking. Clear care instructions, emergency contacts, adequate food and supplies, and current veterinary information must be provided. My goal is to give your pets calm, consistent care while treating your home responsibly and respectfully.

About: I am so excited to meet and welcome your fur baby in our home and give them the love and care they need for every second they're with us! I have over 15 years of experience in dog and animal care with experience in puppy training as well. We love taking walks on our km of trails just beyond our backyard and a 10 minute walk to the ocean! We have a great outdoor space with a spacious home to stay warm inside. We can't wait to meet your fur family and share our cozy and clean oasis! I have plenty of time so share my day with your dog! I am available for weekday and weekend walks and can babysit and board on week days/weekends and over the holidays! I live in a very safe and clean neighbourhood. I have a partial fenced in backyard with lots of privacy and we are able to leash your sweet pups in our backyard. I have two children who are animal/dog lovers who are very comfortable with animals. I have a lower full walk out suite where our visiting pups stay! My home also doesn't require stairs if we've got a pup who has trouble. I am good with crate or uncrated pups and can trust your pup will not be without love and cuddles during their time here! Treats are included (with permission :)).

About: Long time dog owner, I specialize in senior animals. I fully beleive in letting dogs sniff areas as much as they need, it's stimulating to them. I am self employed and living on Saturna Island. I live, work and travel with my best friend Raygan. We live off grid and raise our own meat birds, eggs and veggies. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I treat animals with respect. I have little well train dog from Mexico. Learning to train her has given me more confidence to handle other dogs. I’ve foster dogs several times and loved it. Your dog will be loved well cared for ❤️ Walks are in the morning (7am-10:30) and after 3 pm. One hour long and with or without my dogs company. Depends of the preference of the other dog. I follow the instructions that the owners leave as each dog has its own routine and it’s important to keep them on that schedule.
