1. Kylee A.

“Kylee did a great job watching our dog Mya. Under the circumstances she did everything she could to keep our dog comfortable. She kept us updated, and sent us pictures. We appreciated all her help and care.”

2. Kayla H.

“Kayla is awesome! She took great care of our border collie while we were gone. Kayla communicated with us regularly and we felt very reassured having her take care of Maggie. We will definitely be asking her to take care of Maggie the next time we have to be out of town.”

3. Tara F.

“Tara fulfilled our list of requests with no problem or miscommunications! Our dog is reactive so it’s important to be able to leave him with someone we trust. He loved his time with Tara and we will definitely be booking again! She was extremely polite and easy to work with and left our house clean and tidy.”

4. Trinity S.

“Trinity was great with our pet Millie. She was always quick to respond to any messages, and kept us informed of any issues with the house while we were away as well. Thanks trinity!”

5. Pat M.

“According to Bailey, our Maltese, Pat treated him with attention and affection like never before (except from us) while we were away on Christmas vacation: he frankly hated to see her leave. Pat responded to our enquiry promptly and met with us on two occasions to get all the details regarding staying in our home, including Bailey's culinary details and exercise and sleeping preferences. Upon our return we found everything as we had left it and a very happy Bailey eager to have us go on another vacation in order to have fun with Pat again. We highly recommend Pat as she saved the situation for us. Initially, we did some "interviews" with a local kennel but were rejected since all Bailey did during the "all day trial" was try to escape. On future trips, Pat will be the first person we'll contact for the job.”

“Leesa was amazing We were all so comfortable with her from the first second we met her. Leesa has a calming, and happy personality. We all felt like we had know her for years, we feel like she is now a friend as well as an awesome dog sitter. Oscar absolutely loved Leesa, we feel he was a little sad after she left, he missed her. We wish we had her all to ourselves. Thank you Leesa We hope to see you again soon, we want to book something just so we can see you again and we will ❤️”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have taken care of everything from bouncy puppies to laid-back senior dogs. I’m all about making sure pets feel happy, safe, and loved, whether it’s going on walks, feeding them, giving meds, or just hanging out and playing. I’ve also worked with rescue animals, so I’m really patient and understanding if they need a little extra TLC. ✨️I genuinely love animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Here’s what I bring to the table: 🌿I’m great with puppies and can help with basic training, leash walking, and potty habits. 🌿I know how to care for older pets who might need a slower pace, extra comfort, or meds. 🌿I’m pretty active, so if your dog loves walks, hikes, or just playing fetch, I’m all in! 🌿I’ll send you lots of updates—photos, messages, and even videos—so you know your pet is doing great. ✨️I just want your pet to have the best time while you’re away. Whether they need a buddy to play with or someone to cuddle up with, I’ve got them covered! 🌿As a seasonal worker, I have plenty of free time this winter and am available almost anytime to care for your pets. Since I’m currently not working, my schedule is wide open, and I’m happy to accommodate last-minute bookings or regular care needs. I’m extremely reliable, and because I travel frequently, I’m also very flexible and mobile—meaning I can care for your pets in different locations with ease. 🌿I take my commitment to your pet seriously, and you can count on me to show up on time, stay in touch, and provide the attention and care your pet deserves. Whether it’s a daily walk, overnight stays, or anything in between, I’ll make sure your pet gets the best experience while you’re away. 🦝Let me know your pet care needs—I’m here to help and ready whenever you need me! 🫎Although I don't care for pets in my home, I treat every pet I care for like they're my own. I’ll keep a close eye on them, ensuring they’re safe and well-behaved while giving them lots of love, attention, and playtime. ✨️I make sure to follow any specific routines, feeding schedules, or special care instructions you provide to ensure your pet feels at ease. Whether it's a game of fetch, a long walk, or just some quality cuddle time, I’m committed to keeping your pet happy and healthy. ✨️You can trust me to be reliable, responsible, and genuinely caring—your pet’s well-being is always my top priority!

11. Etienne H.

“I have to say if you are visiting Tofino and you need your dog walked or watched for the day Claire was amazing !! I am from Ontario and I flew out to Vancouver Island to travel the island and during my stay in tofino - Claire watched Stella ( golden Retriever ) while I was on a whale watching tour. Claire sent me the most adorable photos of my dog and took her on a 12 km hike !!! She was extremely helpful and so super friendly !! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect first experience with Rover !!”

12. Myles L.
“Myles was a great dog sitter. He communicated really well so there were no surprises as he his schedule can be irregular. We got lots of doggy pics and updates and seemed to genuinely enjoy our dogs (which put us at ease). The apt was spotless when I got home and the pups were tired and happy. We highly recommend Myles:)”

13. Anna Maria K.

“Anna Maria came to our home to look after our 2 dogs and 1 cat. She took good care of our pets looking after feeding, walking, playing, cuddling and cleaning up. We were concerned because our senior dog, age 17, becomes stressed when we are away and needs special care. We appreciated the daily pictures and updates Anna Marie sent and could see that our pets were happy and calm with her competent care. She is reliable and trustworthy and we will be happy to hire her again.”

14. Kathryn L.
“I was very hesitant to leave my beloved dog because she takes awhile to warm up to people, but I had no reason to worry! Kathryn was an amazing pet sitter! She won my dog over completely right away! My dog fell in love with her and even looked for her around the house the first few mornings after I returned from my trip. Kathryn sent me updates and video each day which helped to keep me relaxed to know my dog was so well looked after. I would 1000% have Kathryn pet sit again and I can recommend her highly.”

15. Dawn M.

“Dawn was terrific juggling our three dogs. It was planned last minute and did a fantastic job making us feel comfortable leaving our mutt family with … basically strangers. Received updates and even offered FaceTime connections if we wanted to check in. Even our neighbours commented how caring they both were with our dogs and saw them out and about at the park or out for a walk. Plus added bonus, the house was as clean as I’ve ever seen it when we returned. I highly recommend Dawn and will use her again.”

17. Lucy S.
About: I grew up on a ranch in southern Alberta, caring for multiple litters of kitties and their mama’s, our 4 dogs (German shepherd, great dane, husky and an unknown breed). I’ve also cared for livestock and children, so I like to think I have a keen understanding of the delicate needs of living things! This is currently my only gig while in university! My schedule is flexible toward morning and afternoon care depending on the day, and I’m happy to work out a schedule around my classes/ extracurriculars that best suits your fur baby’s needs. I have not done any Rover pet-sitting ventures yet! (First time) But was engaged with my own animals when we had them. At least 1-2 walks per day for dogs if they can tolerate it, respect for feeding, cleaning and sleep schedules, as well as gentle redirection in any areas of discipline that may require special attention.

18. Kelsey R.

“Fantastic communication and made sure our beloved dog was well cared for. We were able to enjoy ourselves knowing our dog was safe in her care. Thank you so much!”

19. Sarah T.

“Sarah was very communicative and considerate with the needs of our dogs. She was also really accommodating when it came to meeting us beforehand a couple of times (both to make sure she was comfortable and the dogs). She left our apartment in the same condition in which we left it, the dogs were calm and comfortable upon our return. We are so grateful to Sarah for taking amazing care of our Dogs, and would absolutely have her stay with us again! Thank you!!!”

20. Kate M.
“Kate is an exceptional pet owner and caregiver. The careful attention and love she gives to her dog, Dakota, is really inspiring and lovely to experience. She has a profound appreciation for all animals, and that is seen in the way to is willing to care for her friend's pets as well. I am very happy to recommend Kate as a responsible pet caregiver and would not hesitate that she will make an amazing Rover.”
