I am currently working part-time so have full availability Friday-Sunday and partially available Monday-Thursday in mornings and evenings. I have my own vehicle to travel to your home to visit your pet or take them for walks. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, including feeding routines, exercise levels, behavioural quirks, and comfort preferences. I’m confident handling leash walking, including dogs still learning proper walking manners. I will work to provide a calm presence in your home and ensure all routines are followed.

About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.

About: My name is Julika and I'm a lover of cats and dogs alike! I own a sweet cat named Lulu, but am also hoping for some more puppy time in my life. I love spending time with friends' dogs. I live in Ladysmith, and am open to drop-in visits and walks in the area. I will also consider in-house pet sitting opportunities all over the island, and especially in Victoria, where I work twice a week, and Vancouver, where I love to visit. I love going on walks and hikes and would love to take your dog out with me. I live in Ladysmith and commute to Victoria twice a week for work. I can travel reasonable distances for drop on visits. Availability will depend on location and timing. I am unable to host pets in my own home, as my partner and I have a cat that is very protective of the house.

About: I have had pets my entire life: a German Shepard Husky growing up, and now I have a cat that I adopted from the SPCA (my second). I love pets and they love me. I also know the difficulty that comes with having to travel and leaving your pet and often your house in the care of another person. I am respectful, responsible, kind and considerate when it comes to animals and other peoples' homes. I currently am available any day for pet sitting, and am willing to stay overnight to also take care of your house and treat your pet and house with the same care that I take with my cat and my house. Unfortunately I do not have a fenced yard so cannot have pets in my house. I am happy to care for your pet in your home whether it means dropping by to feed and clean up and spend some quality time with them, or staying over night if needed if you are going on a longer trip.

I offer calm, reliable, and loving dog care-whether that means daily walks or cozy house sitting and keeping your fur baby company. My focus is keeping your pets safe, happy and on their routines whilst treating them like family. I am happy to feed, provide fresh water and meds if required. Your furry friend/friends will receive lots of attention, snuggles and playtime. I have had dogs for most of my life and have experience with puppies, seniors, high watt energy and shy souls. I'm patient and take my time to establish trust and comfort with your animal(s). Think of me as your pet's stand in human while you're away. I'm always happy to keep their tails wagging, paws moving and your mind at ease. I currently have an on call position at my job, so I have a very open schedule allowing for stayovers, walks and drop ins. My schedule is listed open all week, I just need a little bit of notice in advance. When I am with your dog/dogs, cat etc I will feed and water them, and if required give basic medications. This will be adhered to in a timely manner as discussed for your pet's needs. If you have a yard and would prefer to have them be exercised there we can play ball, or if preferred your furries can be walked. When inside, that's you and your dog's space and will be treated with utmost respect.
