About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for family and friends since my teen years. I regularly care for my sisters Siberian Huskies, so I'm familiar with high energy pets! I also have an elderly cat of my own that I love dearly who I've had her entire life. I am currently only working a few side-hustles so my schedule is very flexible to meet your pet care needs. I grew up with a dog and have always loved being around animals, so I'm overly happy to fill my time with some furry friends! I have a large, unfenced backyard with a spacious, fully enclosed deck, giving your dog plenty of room to explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I’m always outside with them, so they’ll have plenty of supervision and company. I’m also more than happy to stay at your home if that’s what works best for you and your pets. I know some animals are happiest in their own familiar space, and I’d love to help them feel comfortable and at home while you’re away!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child. As soon as I moved out to Canada, I got my own dog. My kids grew up with all kinds of animals in the house, the animals helped make my house a home. I’ve looked after friends and family pets most of my life and occasionally got paid for it. I took semi retirement early to enjoy life more and work less. I don’t consider caring for a pet a job. I work less the 30 hrs a week so lots of time to care for your pets in your home Lots of exercise, stick to the routine already set up by the owner. About: Growing up, I always had dogs and cats. When I moved to Nanaimo for school, I missed my pets so much that I started volunteering with ElderDog Nanaimo in 2022. I joined Rover three years ago, and it’s been an amazing journey! Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities: from confident, easygoing pups to those who need extra patience, trust, and understanding. I’ve loved getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I also completed my 208-hour criminology practicum with the BC SPCA, where I worked closely with dogs and cats, learning about their behaviour, backgrounds, and individual needs. I helped administer medication, provided daily care, and gave them the love and support they needed as they prepared to find their forever homes. Since June 2026, I am a VIU Criminology alumni! At the moment, I am away in Northwestern Ontario helping with wildfire operations, as a fire ranger. I look forward to resuming Rover bookings in October and caring for your pets again! If you have a yard and would prefer to have them be exercised there we can play ball, or if preferred your furries can be walked. When inside, that's you and your dog's space and will be treated with utmost respect.
