About: I worked at my local humane society back when I lived in Ontario where I was responsible for daily enclosure cleaning/maintenance as well as keeping an eye out for any unusual or concerning conditions. I handled the animals and made sure to give them some love while I could. It wasn’t my job to do that much, but I just love animals so much and that job brought me a lot of joy. Aside from that job, I’ve handled pets most of my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and more personally for 13 years I had a conure, and for about 7 I had a rabbit. Because of this, I’m very experienced with birds and rabbits especially! I am great with cats too, but my household does have one. She’s an old lady that sleeps mostly and if needed can easily be kept away from any other animals. At home I currently live with a cat who belongs to my sister, but I am her auntie and spend tons of time with her and look after her in ways such as helping with her inhaler, helping clip her nails, brushing, and so on. If my sister is away for any reason, she is fully under my care. I have a spare room that is pretty well empty with just a guest bed next to my room in my house, and because I live with a cat with Asthma, I try to keep all spaces (especially that room) scent free. I also have no problem staying at a client’s place for a few nights if we’ve established some comfortability and familiarity. I don’t have supplies or enclosures on my own, so all that would have to be provided by the owner.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child. As soon as I moved out to Canada, I got my own dog. My kids grew up with all kinds of animals in the house, the animals helped make my house a home. I’ve looked after friends and family pets most of my life and occasionally got paid for it. I took semi retirement early to enjoy life more and work less. I don’t consider caring for a pet a job. I work less the 30 hrs a week so lots of time to care for your pets in your home Lots of exercise, stick to the routine already set up by the owner. About: I've always loved animals. I have a psych degree, and learning about positive re-enforcement and and training pets to do tricks is my favourite thing. I'm self employed so my schedule is flexible. About: I have had pets my entire life: a German Shepard Husky growing up, and now I have a cat that I adopted from the SPCA (my second). I love pets and they love me. I also know the difficulty that comes with having to travel and leaving your pet and often your house in the care of another person. I am respectful, responsible, kind and considerate when it comes to animals and other peoples' homes. I currently am available any day for pet sitting, and am willing to stay overnight to also take care of your house and treat your pet and house with the same care that I take with my cat and my house. Unfortunately I do not have a fenced yard so cannot have pets in my house. I am happy to care for your pet in your home whether it means dropping by to feed and clean up and spend some quality time with them, or staying over night if needed if you are going on a longer trip.
