“Due to unexpected circumstances we had to find a dog/house sitter as quickly as possible. Tanisha came to our rescue! She was able to travel to our home to meet our dog III (his name is "Three") on very short notice. III is a large German Shepherd Dog and is very shy around new people but warmed up to Tanisha right away. Being adopted from the SPCA as a rescue, III is a somewhat difficult dog to look after but Tanisha rose up to the challenge. She administered all his medications including applying skin ointment, and even brushed his coat frequently. We received numerous text messages during our absence with updates which put our minds at ease. Tanisha is a very honest and thoughtful person and we would highly recommend her.”

“Shauna was great! It was the first time we had left Wile E alone with someone else since we adopted him from the rescue, and we were nervous. Shauna eased all of our worries and sent us pictures and updates on how Wile E and his brother George were doing. She took both of them on an amazing walk and spoiled them to the point that I think they were disappointed we were home.”

About: Hello! I'm a devoted pet parent and lifelong animal lover. I recently relocated from Ontario to beautiful Vancouver Island! 🌿 I’m now happily serving the Central Saanich, North Saanich, and Sidney areas, and I’m available in the afternoons and evenings, any day of the week. I can come by and do drop-in visits, individual walks around your neighbourhood, pack walks, trail hikes, trips to the dog park - whatever you would like for your furbaby! I'm very attentive, empathetic, and I am deeply committed to ensuring the best quality of life for every animal in my care. I have two dogs of my own: a Husky-mix and a Goldenretriever who is a certified therapy dog. Before our move, we volunteered regularly at a local long-term care home in Ontario. My last pup, who passed away in early 2024, was a rescue with very complex medical needs including severe grand mal seizures and end-stage liver disease. Caring for her gave me valuable experience administering medication and handling medical emergencies. I treat every pet like family and take time to understand their unique needs, preferences, and personalities. Whether you have a high-energy dog, a mellow senior, a pet with a disability, or a quirky kitty—I’m here to help. I look forward to meeting you! 🐾 _________________________ ✅ For added peace of mind, I’m also insured through PROfur, insurance for pet care professionals. I only take on a small number of clients at a time to ensure I can offer personalized, attentive care. I'm currently working a casual job remotely from home, so I’m available most days and times to fit your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priority. I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care tailored to your pet’s needs. In your home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible—feeding, walking, and playing according to your preferences. I always respect your space, follow the care instructions you provide to me, and send regular updates about your pets with pictures/videos so you feel at ease while you're away. During walks, I pay close attention to your dog’s body language, energy levels, and any triggers to ensure a positive, stress-free experience. “Breanne stepped in on short notice to look after Roke while I was out of town. Roke is recovering from an ACL injury. I look forward to having Breanne back the next time I need a dog sitter.”

This was our first time ever leaving them with a sitter. She arrived on time (5 minutes early!) and was very friendly, confident and professional. She sent adorable photo updates of the dogs who were cuddled up with her on the couch and took them out when they needed it. It is clear that she respected our home and took great care of our dogs. They seemed very happy! Will definitely have Sonya watch them again in the future!”

“Kathryn stayed at our home and watched our 2 Australian Shepherds for 3 nights and we highly recommend her. We are relatively new to Victoria and our dogs are still getting used to condo-living, elevators, and having lots of other dogs around at the same time which makes them rather anxious. In fact, one of our dogs was so anxious (or maybe not feeling well)) and Kathyrn took her outside multiple times during the night and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. She also managed to take them on several walks even though it rained most of the weekend. She is very thoughtful, caring, responsible, clean and a genuinely nice person. We would not hesitate to have her take care of our pets again and would give her a 10 star rating if that was possible!”

“We were so happy to have had Michelle take care of our fur babies. I did not worry when we were away and felt at ease with her there. My senior dog who is very picky and in the past has gone on hunger strike when we went away was totally fine and happy. Our little pup of a year was good too. We came home to a clean home, washed blankets and towels. Thank you so much for your amazing loving care of our two little fur monsters. We highly recommend Michelle.”
