Host Name: Ian A. Feb 09, 2026 Nanaimo BC February 8th 2026 We recently invited Teresa into our home to look after our house and dog for 9 days while we traveled to Mexico. I am reluctant to provide an honest review....why?…because she will get more and more clients making it harder for us to book her on future occasions when we need her. She is quite simply amazing! Not just the fact that the house was impeccably clean when we got back.... the sheets were washed and the beds were made, the house had been vacuumed, the fridge had been cleaned ,but she even did some small gardening for us, all completely on her own initiative. We had seen reviews from some of her previous clients and I thought they were too good to be true but now we understand. You are instantly comforted knowing that she cares about your property because within the first hour of her being here, she had asked me where the smoke detectors were, did we have a fire extinguisher, and where was the main water shut off. (I don't think my own wife knows where that is! ) All things that could potentially be beneficial to know.... While we were away she communicated with us almost daily with pictures of the numerous walks that she was doing with our dog and he probably was disappointed when she had to leave because I am sure that she spoiled him completely. However he will be very happy to see her come back very soon as we are off to South Africa for 3 weeks and she will once again be welcomed in our house. We now consider Teresa not just our house sitter but a friend. She truly is phenomenal and I have no hesitation in highly recommending her services. You need have NO concerns. Ian & Dianne

About: I have grown up taking care of dogs and horses in our farmhouse back home since i was kid. My father is a veterinarian, My love for pets is unconditional. I am currently working day job. So evenings and nights will be best for me. But we can always figure something out, so no worries. I am physically fit and active, so fully capable of taking care of your pet, can stay at your place look and take them to walks.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life - everything from small furries, dogs, cats & farm animals. I currently have a house rabbit. I was a registered Veterinary Nurse in the UK, prior to relocating to Canada a few years ago. I also ran a professional Pet Sitting business for several years. I would love to help people in my local community to care for their pets. I work between the hours of approx 8/9am & 3/4pm, but I am available at each end of that time to visit your pets & care for their every need. I will closely follow all care instructions provided by the owner in order to ensure that the pets receive as normal a routine as possible. With extra cuddles to ensure we quickly becomes friends!

“We were super happy with our experience with Brenden and Brooke. Right off the bat, we could tell how much love they have for dogs. It immediately gave us peace of mind, and we truly felt safe leaving our girl in their care. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was a great fit beforehand. We met with them a couple of times prior to booking, practiced walks together, and showed them around the house. That preparation made everything feel easy and seamless when it came time for us to leave. They followed our pet care guidelines to a T and kept us updated daily with photos, which meant so much to us. It’s imperative to my husband and me that we find people we completely trust with our Rottweiler, and they were absolutely wonderful with her. They took the time to really understand her behavior and made her feel comfortable. On top of that, they left our home in great condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would book with them again anytime. Highly recommend!”

She left my home clean and tidy, even organizing a few things around the house. I was welcomed home with freshly baked banana bread on the counter and a handwritten note, which was such a lovely touch. About: My favourite company is often animals! I grew up on an acreage with horses, indoor dogs and cats. There were animals in my family before I was around and there still is to this day. We saved a couple stray cats one day on the way to school (I was about 5 years old) and for years to come we had many barn cats, each with names, whom we fed each day. I learnt so much about the life cycle of cats, and how to support them in ways a human can - including bottle feeding, cleaning wounds and creating a safe space. It was an incredible part of my childhood, and connected me deeper to my Love of animals and to myself. I have continued to have animals in my life, and foresee that always being the case. My rescue cat Leo is very dear to me and we have healed so much during our past three years together. I currently am working as part-time as a server with a flexible schedule. I will be available for a variety of times throughout my week & can accommodate day-time visits as well as evenings and weekends as needed!
