I’m available with notice and can tailor my weekly and daily schedule to meet you and your fur families’ needs. I have my son one week on one week off. I am at home always exception of certain once a year holidays or running errands or participation in community events. Fenced yard, harbour and beach trails close by. Ground level suite with no stairs. Pets are welcome on the furniture and are members and guests in the home.

About: Originally from California, I spent 4 years consistently volunteering at the Animal Rescue Foundation (an organization that saves dogs and cats from inhumane public shelters). My responsibilities began with basic shelter essential chores, and as the months progressed I undertook training to specialize in Dog Care. I helped rescues become comfortable with human interaction by reading books to them. I learned how to monitor their body language, making adjustments to my approach so that the dogs feel more relaxed during their temporary time at the shelter. To be appointed this position I underwent a series of training, as well as written and hands-on examinations. In the summer of 2021, I was hired as a professional dog walker — taking up to 8 dogs at a time! Through this role, I learned crucial skills of safe dog walking. I have over five years of experience on Rover as well, and have built trusting relationships with my pup clients and their owners. I have an incredibly strong fondness for animals, and treat each one as my own. While I am unable to care for dogs at my own residence, I am available to come to you! I do dog walks, house drop-ins, and house sitting. It would be an honor to become a friend and caretaker to your beloved pet! Safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a 1 year old miniature dachshund named Baguette, who loves other dogs and is very friendly. Please feel free to reach out with any questions — I’m a quick responder. Schedule: I work remotely and have a flexible schedule at the moment, especially for house sitting where I can just work remotely with your pup and give them love all day! House Drop-Ins: During my house drop-ins, a list of food portions and any important info is greatly appreciated. For dogs that require medication, detailed instructions and dosage are necessary to ensure safety. It’s also great to know your dog’s favorite toys or exercise activities! In the past I have done house drop-ins for senior dogs who can’t necessarily handle a regular walk, and prefer a play in the yard or a stroll around the block.

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and owner. My current household includes a friendly Bernese Mountain Dog puppy and a sweet, fixed senior female Golden Retriever. Both are very social and always eager to meet new furry friends! I’m available at home throughout the day to provide dedicated care for your dog. About: I've had a dog and cat my entire life. I recently lost our 14 year old dog and miss having the companionship at home and on walks. About: My place has been a revolving door of visiting pets of friends and family for the past 6 years. I live with my wife and cocker spaniel, Vincent, and we keep him active with walks play which he loves to have other dogs join I am currently completing a degree in kinesiology at camosun college, which keeps me busy but also has plenty of time at home for pet care. I can easily be available for visits and visitors I like to take my dog out for walks around the property several times a day. There is a nice field far from roads that I allow him off leash to run, play and chase smells. There is a large dog park which is about a 10 minute drive away and a mountain hike that is 5 minutes to walk to (about an hour to complete the hike and get home). We play with his toys inside and Vincent is always happy to play with visitors and other dogs at the park.

About: Hey cute dogs and responsible dog owners! I am a german dog trainer and I miss working with dogs so much! Since I am here in Canada, I work part-time from home and unfortunately I am not allowed to have an own dog, where I live. For the past 8 years I worked with more than 45 dogs and I fostered more than 30 dogs in my own home in Germany (mostly rescues). I used to worked with three german animal protection associations as well. My specialties are: - leash pulling issues - creating a better bond and relationship between dog and owner - behavior in general - issues at home I can´t wait to meet you and your dog! I work part-time in my own business at home, so I am able to organize my own times, when I work. But ideal is after 11:30 am. I know, how to read dogs. I work with dogs all my life, even as a kid, I worked with dogs at german dog parks. I was the youngest trainer in my town, who ever worked with dogs. And mostly, I often like dogs better than humans - to be honest. Dogs are just amazing. I will always take care about the safety of the animal, that - for me - is job one. Also I won´t give anything to the pet (treats, toys), that I haven´t talked through with the owner beforehand.

About: I started my business 26 years ago, been professionally full time dogwalking ever since! I grew up with my parents owning a doggy daycare and learned everything from a young age about dogs, dog training, petsitting and dogwalking. I do private walks and group walks. About: Hello dog lovers! My name is Kelsey and I am an animal lover and youth & family counsellor with the vancouver island YMCA in a variety of neurodiverse settings. I have always felt a closeness and sincere love for all animals :) I am a responsible individual and am so excited to love and care for your furry friend! I have raised my own pup for 15 years and now have a sweet, gentle border collie named Takaya who recently turned 4! Takaya loves all dogs - but can also very easily be separated from your pup as we have a relatively large property, as I know all dogs have differing levels of comfortability around other dogs. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats. As my work is currently flexible & often remote - I will be available the vast majority of each day to spend time caring for your loved one. Travelling frequently over the past few years, I am truly able to empathise with other pet owners as they hope for peace of mind in regards to their pets well-being and comfort while they're away. If your furry loved one is not comfortable around other dogs, it is very easy to separate my border collie while still providing each animal with close connection and care.

About: Hi There! I'm Amber and I am a fur mama to two Chihuahuas. I love all animals (more than people). I have babysat my friends and families pets for years (puppies too!). I would love to watch over your fur baby. I am available 7 days a week for dog walking for almost any time of day. I am an athletic person so long walks (2 hours) are no trouble for me. I am also available to come for potty breaks multiple times a day. My chihuahuas are my babies. They are part of the family. We go on 2-3 walks a day, play fetch in the yard, and lots of snuggling. They have full range of the house and of course sleep in the bed. I make them healthy home cooked meals.
