About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for family and friends since my teen years. I regularly care for my sisters Siberian Huskies, so I'm familiar with high energy pets! I also have an elderly cat of my own that I love dearly who I've had her entire life. I am currently only working a few side-hustles so my schedule is very flexible to meet your pet care needs. Let me know your pets regular schedule and my aim will be to keep things as consistent as I can for their comfort. My goal is to keep your pets on their regular schedule while you are away so that they are as comfortable as possible. I am happy to provide regular updates and photos to keep you updated on how they are doing during my stay!

About: I’ve taken care of my own two large dogs since I was a kid. Helping with their training, playtime, walks, and overall care. I have also managed to recognize and provide assistance to my one dog who struggles with separation anxiety. I’m a very helpful being who’s observant, and present with each pet. Caring for each one in the puppy stage, all the way to their senior stages. I currently have plenty of free time and would love to help people in the community in finding trusted pet care for their furry ones. I’m always open to discussing days outside of my preferred ones as well. I live in a more semi rural area, allowing for loads of open trails and beaches to walk my furry babies and enjoy their playtime. While keeping them on a feeding schedule, and generally taking them out for breaks on a schedule as well. However I also recognize the signs my dog gives for his different needs.

About: I have professional and personal experience with dogs, working in a professional setting with up to roughly 100 dogs daily (to many...please don't hire me to look after that many) as well as working with strays and rescues out of the country... Just lots of pet experience all around. I am professionally trained in dog and cat behavior, and studied wildlife biology. Not just a dog lover, I can handle all animals well, including exotics:). I am open for over night or a few hours or days. Any time is a good time. I can be flexible for whatever works I pay attention to the animal's behavior and needs rather than wants. Every dog is a new personality and they shouldn't all be handled the same way.

About: Lady was the first dog we had in our family (in the picture) and I had the opportunity to learn most of what I know through her. I was able to learn appropriate dog walking skills, routines for dogs, the importance of play and the impacts of going for longer walks in nature. I typically like to have the appropriate treats for dogs while on walks (depends on any known allergies) and always like have water or access to water with me to ensure hydration is being met after big runs! I’m always constantly ensuring their safety while out and mindful of where I am going. I’m currently working part-time and in school full-time at VIU; I am using this as an opportunity to get outside more; spend more time doing things that I love like going for nature walks and spending time with animals. For pet visits I hold the up most respect for your environment and how you would like me to interact in that with your pet; I have been a pet-sitter for my family and friends in the past and just always ask for exactly what you would like to see from me while there.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and reliability I bring to every pet as if they were my own. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I have experience working with pets of all ages and personalities, from energetic puppies/kittens who need structure, consistency, and basic training reinforcement, to senior pets who require patience, gentle handling, and an understanding of slower-paced routines. Pet parents can also expect clear and consistent communication from me, including regular updates and photos so they always know how their pet is doing. I understand how important peace of mind is when you’re away, and I aim to provide exactly that. Above all, I treat every animal like family—because to me, they are. I am currently working part-time so have full availability Friday-Sunday and partially available Monday-Thursday in mornings and evenings. I have my own vehicle to travel to your home to visit your pet or take them for walks. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, including feeding routines, exercise levels, behavioural quirks, and comfort preferences. I’m confident handling leash walking, including dogs still learning proper walking manners. I will work to provide a calm presence in your home and ensure all routines are followed.

About: I grew up caring for three dogs of my own — two small breeds and one large dog — so I am comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels. I understand how important routine, exercise, and attention are for a pet’s well-being. In addition to my personal experience, I completed a canine training course where I learned how to better understand dog behavior, communication signals, and positive reinforcement techniques. I have experience helping dogs improve their obedience, learn basic commands, and even practice fun tricks using reward-based methods only. I am responsible, patient, and detail-oriented, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Since I have my own vehicle, I can easily commute and handle any necessary errands or emergencies. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and caring environment so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure I have enough time for walks, feeding, playtime, and attention. I am available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and from Monday to Thursday after 4:00 PM. However, I understand that every pet owner has different needs, and I am flexible whenever possible to accommodate specific schedules. I am organized, responsible, and committed to maintaining each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect their space, follow all care instructions carefully, and maintain the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. About: My name is Casey, I am a dental assistant with the oral surgeons. I typically work 4 days a week, with random days off. My dog Benson and I love to meet and play with all sorts of dogs. Benson gets along with everyone, especially those with high energy! Benson and I are looking for someone to spend my day’s off with. Our dream doggy day is full of puppy cuddles and someone taking use for long walks all around town. I grew up with labs, but love all fur babies. I have an allergy to cats, so unfortunately I’m unable to care for them. But I love and have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I can’t wait to meet you and your precious doggos! I work very close to home (3 minutes away) and with only working 3-4 days a week, I have lots of time to spend with my furry friends. My back yard is fully fenced. My dog, Benson, is always happy to have a friend to keep company. However, my front yard is not fenced.

About: Hi! I'm a full-time cat mom of two wonderful kitties, Iggy & Hans. They make the rules around here, so unfortunately I can't get a dog right now, but that means I'm more than happy to watch your dog/pets in your home :) I grew up with 2 beautiful Newfoundlands and a Heinz variety, and I'm a huge animal lover. I have experience with young pups/senior dogs, and have some experience providing medication to both dogs and cats. I have the ability to work from home so I'd be with your pet the majority of the stay. This is great for pets who like their routines and thrive on a consistent schedule when it comes to feeding/walking/playtime etc. I've done sits for both active and low energy dogs, so I can adapt to their energy level:) As a cat mom who loves to travel internationally, I understand how stressful and hard it can be to trust someone with your home/pet and I'd be happy to provide as many updates and photos as you'd like :)

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I treat animals with respect. I have little well train dog from Mexico. Learning to train her has given me more confidence to handle other dogs. I’ve foster dogs several times and loved it. Your dog will be loved well cared for ❤️ Walks are in the morning (7am-10:30) and after 3 pm. One hour long and with or without my dogs company. Depends of the preference of the other dog. I follow the instructions that the owners leave as each dog has its own routine and it’s important to keep them on that schedule. In order to make the dog feeling stable and safe.

Your pup Will enjoy 2 daily walks, optional runs around the lake and plenty of cuddles, playtime and personalized attention. I create a safe and happy environment tailored to your dog. Just lost my 15 year old boarder collie and looking to bring some puppy love back into the house. I work from home so I’m available throughout the day to give your dog attention, playtime and potty breaks. I have a fully fenced in yard, live across the street from the park and have the kids every other week. Kids are gentle and loving of dogs Fully fenced in yard, 2 walks a day or runs around Westwood if your dog likes to run. We are a very active outdoor family who enjoys down time and cuddles.

About: I've been taking care of animals for over 10 years now. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and all around care for their pets. I'm a certified vet assistant so I am very comfortable giving them medications as well and continuing on any training they might have ongoing. I am currently working at an animal hospital from 8 to 6 from Tuesday to Friday. So they would have to be okay to stay alone for 10 hours if possible if not I can try to let them out after 5 hours. I like to stay at the clients home so that your pet can stay as comfortable as they want. While keeping to their daily routine as much as possible.

About: I am a huge dog lover! I have had dogs my whole life and am super comfortable around them. I've walked dogs on and off for the past 10 years, and I have had my own rescue pooch for 8 years now. I would be more than happy to walk/board your dog when I am available too :) I have a part time job working as a birth and postpartum doula. Needless to say, I am passionate about supporting families; and your furry friend is part of that family. I would love to fill my free time taking care of your pooch. My days can be inconsistent, but if it works with your needs, then count me in! I have a more gentle approach when taking care of dogs. With my dog being a rescue, I learned the importance of building trust and using a calm voice when training. I like to train using positive reinforcement with good treats.

About: I have been a pet parent since I was a wee lass, owned mostly dogs and cats but I've also had rabbits, birds, fish and lizards. I have experience with all ages of animals and I used to foster and help train groups of puppies for a rescue agency. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can be available daytime and evenings as needed. I am also available for overnight stays. I offer drop in care service or a full overnight house sit as needed. I will treat your pet like my own with lots of love!

About: My wife Samira and I will be so excited to meet your furry friend and introduce them to our gentle and super friendly dog Teddy. While each and every one of animals is unique and requires different type of care, they all look for love and trust in their care provider. Whether it is a wiggly loud puppy or a grumpy stubborn loaf of bread, we will be able to gain their trust and make the bond. Our schedule is pretty flexible and we are looking fowrad to meet your pet. We all going to have a fabulous experience whether it is a dog sitting or a short walk your dog will have a fun time with us for sure. Both of us have a fixed schedule and the privilege of working from home and the available dates are based on those considerations. We simply won’t take the responsibility unless we make sure we have time and resource dedicated to your pet We are super conservative when it comes to pets safety as we understand the consequences even when the odds are not high. About: I have had pets my entire life: a German Shepard Husky growing up, and now I have a cat that I adopted from the SPCA (my second). I love pets and they love me. I also know the difficulty that comes with having to travel and leaving your pet and often your house in the care of another person. I am respectful, responsible, kind and considerate when it comes to animals and other peoples' homes. I currently am available any day for pet sitting, and am willing to stay overnight to also take care of your house and treat your pet and house with the same care that I take with my cat and my house. Unfortunately I do not have a fenced yard so cannot have pets in my house. I am happy to care for your pet in your home whether it means dropping by to feed and clean up and spend some quality time with them, or staying over night if needed if you are going on a longer trip.

About: I have been around pets my whole life. From a cat in my teens to a Bernese mountain dog. I have always loved being around animals. I currently work remote. I know schedules can be crazy and emergencies happen. That Is why I am making myself available anytime to play with your pets! It's all about them.
