About: Since I can remember I’ve had such a love for animals and their beautiful personalities and energy. Since approximately 12 years of age I’ve cared for and raised dogs. My husband and I have had two wonderful companions for 16-18 years who are sadly no longer with us. We continue to want to have animals in our life and help where we can. We have experience with puppies , middle aged, and senior pups and love all the stages that each age ranges bring. With family member we understand the utmost care and trust is needed. When we had our two dogs our lives definitely revolved around the both of them. Whether it be walking, feeding, playing and medications - they always came first. They were family. Our home consists of 2.5 floors. We have hardwood and carpets (runners) available for dogs who have traction issues. We can carry dogs that weigh up to 20 Ibs up and down if needed if they are older and also utilize baby gates. Water is available up and down and we also have AC.

About: I started my first animal care business at the tender age of 6, and have been caring for my own and others' animals ever since. I have experience with special needs and anxious pets, reptiles, rabbits, birds, even wild animals, as well as canines and felines. At home I just have Panda (my cat) and sometimes Thistle (my dog I co-parent). In the past have struck a cozy balance with the needs and desires of up to four animals (3 cats and a dog), and have met with success when introducing others into the mix. Panda and I are extensive travelers and have befriended many a furred friend on our adventures. I have also been walking dogs since I was a child and am very focused on making sure they have a thorough and enjoyable experience. I'm comfortable with dogs of any size, and can even probably walk your cat! (I take mine out regularly) In people's homes, I am very respectful of space and privacy and work to make my presence undetectable, except for the animal to whom I'm providing company to of course! I'm very good at following care instructions and am not afraid of light grooming, administering medications, etc. I spent some time volunteering with the SPCA doing feline socialization as well. I have dealt with special need purebreds, high anxiety rescues, and most things in between. I just really like animals! I want to make sure they're happy, healthy, and well cared for. I am a student finishing up my degree, a part time worker, and avid volunteer, so my schedule is all over the place, but luckily it's mostly under my control, so I can arrange it around a pet's needs. My home is set up to cater to the needs and comfort of my senior cat. I do have a large amount of houseplants, not all of which are pet- friendly, but these are largely out of reach and can be moved to a closed off room if necessary. I have several ways to separate animals if need be, am comfortable with crating, and generally being aware of potential hazards. At a client's house I am able to follow clear instructions and make sure proper protocols are followed (separate feeding, enclosures, making sure doors are open/ closed etc)

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for and raised animals of all kinds, from puppies and rescue dogs to farm animals and small pets. My own rescue dog, Indigo, taught me so much about patience, compassion, and attentive care as I supported her through both IVDD and cancer. Through that experience, I became very comfortable with medication routines, mobility support, changing needs, and providing calm, loving care through every stage of an animal’s life. I’ve also raised puppies and lived on a farm where I regularly cared for large farm dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for many different animals, including parrots, snakes, hamsters, fish, rabbits, and other small pets. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, understood, and cared for while their owners are away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m also a very active person and usually spend hours outside walking every day, so I’d genuinely love some furry companionship along the way - whether your dog prefers long adventures, slower sniff walks, or lots of playtime and attention. I live in a detached home with a fully fenced backyard and no other animals in the home, creating a calm and safe environment for your pet. I take animal care very seriously and have always treated every pet - whether my own or someone else’s - with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love. I cared for my sweet dog Indigo through both IVDD and cancer, which gave me firsthand experience supporting animals with medical needs, mobility limitations, medication routines, and changing comfort levels. That experience taught me that every animal is unique, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual routines, personalities, and care needs to help them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve had pets all my life both cats and dogs ; I’ve fostered kittens for pet stores. I currently have a Maltese mini poodle who is 10 yo. I have flexibility as I work remotely as a consultant. I’m home everyday so can easily care for the needs of your pet with walks nearby. I have a Maltese mini poodle named merry who is very gentle , aged 10. I’m in a house with both a front and back yard and many trails nearby for walks.

About: We love all pets with any kind of personality. We always had pets with us during the last 20 years (dog, cat, rabbit, hamster, chicken, etc.). We love them all.  We took care of our diabetic dog for 2 years (syringes insulin). We are used to senior dogs or puppies. We work full time Monday to Friday; sometimes we are home early or we have days off. We can take care of your pets every evening, afternoon, and most weekends. We have a small 2-bedroom single house where we let your dog go everywhere. Pets are allowed on the bed or couch with no restriction, and we have a small fenced backyard. We love taking walks with pets.

About: I love animals and have lots of experience with dogs. I have owned Chihuahuas, Havanese, Poodles, and a Doberman. I love training dogs (no formal experience just as a hobby) and making sure they stay stimulated and entertained with toys and activities. I am comfortable with puppies and also senior dogs. I am a very active person and love going on long walks no matter the weather. I am currently going to school and travel for work part time. When I am here I am flexible most week days. We have a food and water dish but we will rely on you to provide pet food and treats. We won't provide any food that isn't yours to ensure that there is no risk to your pet. We also ask that you bring any favourite toys or other items your furry friend requires to keep them comfortable during their stay :)

About: I grew up on a farm with livestock animals such pigs, cows, goats, chickens, and many dogs. Animal care and safety has always been something I am passionate about. I am certified in both Dogsafe, Fear Free Shelters, and Horsemanship. I connect well with animals and seniors because I to easy-going, fun, but clear headed and dependable. I have done pet sitting for dogs and cats, dog bathing and combing. I am a semipro rugby player and very physically fit so am happy to take your active dog for a run, and can easily lift even large dogs in and out of the tub or carry them up and down stairs for senior or injured dogs. During most of the year I am a semipro rugby player and train 4 times a week and games on Saturdays but am available some mornings and evenings and on Sundays. Summer is the off season so I am much more flexible. I am available to do house sitting and dog walking or drop in visits for bathing. I am active and would enjoy taking dogs on runs or playing with active puppies. I care for pets with a focus on safety, routine, and trust. I grew up with animals and follow DogSafe practices, so I pay close attention to behavior and safe handling. I provide a clean, secure space and keep a consistent routine. Pets are supervised and introduced slowly if needed. If a dog is crate trained, I maintain that routine. Crates are used as a safe, calm space, never for punishment, with regular breaks, exercise, and attention. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, and medications. I keep their environment clean and low stress, and provide updates to the owner. I adjust my care to each pet’s needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I have 15 years caring for my own dogs, 10 years working in a pet store, and hands-on experience with agility puppy training.
