I’m a health care worker that currently works part time and I have a couple days available for dog walking and drop in visits during the week.

At my house, my dogs have a fully fenced yard that they have access to while I am at home. The dogs and I go for walks daily, and due to one of dogs being more reactive, there is only on leash walks to avoid conflict with other dogs and innocent squirrels.

Please let me know if your dogs have any special needs related to their physical health or behaviour as this may impact which walking routes are selected. If your dog does have some reactivity or history of aggression, please inform me so we may discuss his or her triggers ahead of time to ensure our walks are enjoyable and safe for everyone.
A typical day
I like to take dogs for walks on routes that they may be familiar with or, take them somewhere completely new where they can do all their sniffing and exploring .

Pet care experience
I have been a pet parent my entire life and have volunteered with dogs in various programs over the past 15 years. Some of these groups include the Red Deer Humane Society, BCSPCA, and Elderdog Canada. With my experience, I have helped support many different breeds of dogs with various temperaments, including dogs with reactivity and strong prey drives. In my visits, I’m comfortable not only providing your dog with an outdoor break during their day, but, I can also help out with feeding, basic medications, and light grooming (unfortunately no nail care at this time).

I can't say enough great things about Airan! She's incredibly reliable — always on time and consistent and can confidently handle dogs of all sizes, including my extra-large pup who can be a handful on walks. On top of everything, Airan is super friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!
I have known Airan for 6 years as a fellow volunteer at Elderdog. In those 6 years she has walked and helped care for a variety of dogs from a little Mexican chihuahua rescue to her own large pit bull mixes and everyone in between. I can't think of someone better to care for your pets.
