We have been lifelong dog and cat lovers and currently have a very friendly tuxedo cat named Severus. We can't wait to host your furry loved ones in our home or in yours! We have looked after over 40 dogs and cats and our reviews speak for themselves! Lauren has had many beloved family cats and Ramesh is a cat and dog-lover who can often be seen crossing the street just to request a pet. We are looking to add furry friends to our lives and have lots of love to give. Your dog or cat will be treated like family under our care. We will take your dog out for bathroom breaks as needed and feed them according to their feeding schedule with food you provide. We are both active and will ensure your dog gets the physical activity it desires! We will communicate with you throughout and will share as many updates and photos as you desire. We are happy to meet in advance to ensure we're the right fit to look after your pet as we take the care of your pet seriously. We are conscientious young professionals who have excellent communication and organization skills, so we will ensure your experience is hassle-free! Note: we have just moved houses and are still prettying it up. So, the photos on our profile are of our previous home! We will update our profile with new photos as soon as possible and upon your request.

Our 2 dogs recently spent 2 days of daycare with Ramesh and Lauren. I immediately felt very comfortable as Ramesh was calm and friendly and not fazed by their initial separation anxiety. He was quick to respond and gave us updates and photos . I knew they were in good hands especially when on day 2 they went charging into his house .I would recommend them for your pets too.

Ramesh and Lauren were great for our pet sitting needs. They were very communicative and provided prompt responses to our inquiries and sent many photos. Ramesh left our house spotless so there was no cleanup to be worried about when we got home. We are very happy with their service and hope to book them again in the future.

Schedule
Ramesh works full-time, from home. Lauren is wrapping up her PhD program at the University of Victoria and is also a sessional instructor at the university. We both are quite flexible with commitments and are quite easily able to take your dog out for walks and potty breaks throughout the day. We both are very active and pet care fits right into our schedules.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a house with a fenced yard to the side and an unfenced yard out front plus a number of parks nearby. Our home is spacious and yours will get all of our love and attention! We have a very friendly cat named Severus. He is an adventurous boy and loves making friends. We have a food and water dish but we will rely on you to provide pet food and treats. We won't provide any food that isn't yours to ensure that there is no risk to your pet. We also ask that you bring any favourite toys or other items your furry friend requires to keep them comfortable during their stay :)

A typical day
We love walking the Oaklands neighbourhood and the surrounding ones too - and would be delighted to take your dog to see all the sights. A typical day could involve a walk with your dog to Willows Beach or a walk to Oaklands Park or even along Dallas Road. We'll fit in tons of snuggles and some treats you provide along the way. Our car is equipped with a dog-friendly back seat cover so that any adventures to parks and beaches are in great comfort! We also spend a good amount of time at home, so if your dog prefers a more chill routine, we will happily adapt and create a loving experience for them.
