My name is Danielle and I currently volunteer at the BC SPCA and have worked with a number of shelters in the past. I have vast experience in walking, feeding, cleaning and playing with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I moved to Victoria in August 2024 from Kelowna where I had been walking and sitting some regular dogs for the past 2 years. I am originally from England which is where I started working on Rover in 2021. Dogs are my passion and I love being around the lovable creatures as much as possible. I am reliable and trustworthy and you don't have to worry when your furry family member is in my care. I can cater to your dogs needs and take them on long hikes or get rid of some energy with a game of fetch or just visit them to feed and cuddle them. As I volunteer at the shelter I am also very used to nervous and anxious dogs and I am very patient and understanding of moving at the dogs own pace. Whatever your dog needs, I can provide it. I know dogs and their owners have specific ways they like to do things and I take this into account when watching your dog. I take any minor detail into account to make sure your dog is comfortable and their routine remains the same and also take any worry away from the owner. We recently moved to the area and needed a new pet sitter for occasional travel. Danielle took care of our 2 cats and 2 dogs while we were out of town for the weekend. She is friendly, prompt, communicative, and sent nice photos during each drop-in visit. Thanks, Danielle!
Danielle was great! From initial introductions and asking lots of questions about the care for our dogs and house, through our time away and communication afterwards we felt very comfortable and happy with Danielle's care. Hopefully she's available again next time we need help looking after our dogs!

Danielle was fantastic! She was warm, friendly, and so gentle with our cats, Cleo and Oliver. They’re usually shy with new people, so we were amazed they both came out to greet her! She was reliable, arrived on time, and sent us a daily photo update, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats and wouldn’t hesitate to book Danielle again. Thank you so much, Danielle!
Danielle took great care of our little baby. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has a dog that requires more care (medication, patience).

Schedule
I currently work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday evenings generally between 3.30-6.45pm. I also work Saturday mornings from 8.30-3pm. I am generally home the rest of the time apart from my daily morning gym class and the occasional dog walk.

- Let me know if your dog has any special requests or needs whether it be dietary or they don't like children or other dogs etc. The more information I have the better the stay will be for both me and your dog.
