Sarah is an amazing pet sitter! She watched over our senior cat while we were away for a week for our wedding, and she provided amazing updates and pictures each day during her visit. She follows instructions exceptionally well and she gave our girl lots of cuddles and love.
Sarah is lovely! She came by to meet us and our kitty well in advance, sent detailed descriptions of her visits while we were away and even gave us a cute thank you card. We would recommend her in a heartbeat. :)

Schedule
I started using Rover as a way to help mourn the loss of my elderly dog who struggled with arthritis and pain management. I administered his oral and injected medications regularly. The transition of not having a dog in my home was difficult for me and having dog guests in my home and caring for pets brings me so much happiness. I know first hand how hard it is to find a trustworthy sitter so I wanted to put my services out there as I am knowledgeable and experienced.

I have taken care of birds and dogs my entire life since I was little. My real passion is with exotics such as birds, hermit crabs, guinea pigs and rabbits.

A typical day
With dogs, taking the time to get to know them and bond is important. There are a lot of beautiful parks in Victoria which helps for walk locations. The dogs I board quickly adapt to my home environment and enjoy going for walks in my neighborhood to explore all of the new smells. I believe that bird enrichment is super important and supervised time out of the enclosure is important. I’m great at handling birds and understanding their body language. Regular water and food changes is also very important. With rabbits and Guinea pigs their needs can be particular. I’m very patient and respectful with them and like to give them space unless they show me they want acknowledgment. Keeping their food routine is important so that they aren’t stressed out. With hermit crabs I know the importance of regular food changes and maintaining their fresh and salt water baths.
