About: Since I can remember I’ve had such a love for animals and their beautiful personalities and energy. Since approximately 12 years of age I’ve cared for and raised dogs. My husband and I have had two wonderful companions for 16-18 years who are sadly no longer with us. We continue to want to have animals in our life and help where we can. We have experience with puppies , middle aged, and senior pups and love all the stages that each age ranges bring. With family member we understand the utmost care and trust is needed. When we had our two dogs our lives definitely revolved around the both of them. Whether it be walking, feeding, playing and medications - they always came first. They were family. Our home consists of 2.5 floors. We have hardwood and carpets (runners) available for dogs who have traction issues. We can carry dogs that weigh up to 20 Ibs up and down if needed if they are older and also utilize baby gates. Water is available up and down and we also have AC.

I have done a lot of dog training in reactivity, separation anxiety, and use positive reinforcement to ensure that the relationship between me and my pet(s) is built on love and trust. With every new pet, I let them approach me and I build a foundation of trust so that obedience is not something forced but given! I work part time but I have blocked out those days so that it won’t interfere, but other wise I work 7 hour shifts so if your pet is staying when I am working, they would have to be comfortable being home alone for those hours I care for my pets by using positive reinforcement and consistency. Consistency is key and is very beneficial for ensuring my pets can succeed in all aspects of their lives. I understand dog body language and know when to approach, let them be, or let them come to me. It’s about listening to boundaries, just like with us humans!

About: I have spent most of my childhood into early 20s rescuing dogs and either rehoming or keeping them for their full life span. I can care for your dog like they are my own! I love getting outside any chance I can get and typically work my regular job in the evenings so this provides a great morning routine for dogs whos owners typically work early mornings and through the day. I care for pets by using positive reinforcement when learning new skills and providing lots of attention and time outside so they do not develop bad behaviours in the home or in public.

About: Since I can remember I’ve had such a love for animals and their beautiful personalities and energy. Since approximately 12 years of age I’ve cared for and raised dogs. My husband and I have had two wonderful companions for 16-18 years who are sadly no longer with us. We continue to want to have animals in our life and help where we can. We have experience with puppies , middle aged, and senior pups and love all the stages that each age ranges bring. With family member we understand the utmost care and trust is needed. When we had our two dogs our lives definitely revolved around the both of them. Whether it be walking, feeding, playing and medications - they always came first. They were family. Our home consists of 2.5 floors. We have hardwood and carpets (runners) available for dogs who have traction issues. We can carry dogs that weigh up to 20 Ibs up and down if needed if they are older and also utilize baby gates. Water is available up and down and we also have AC.

She is patient and had an understanding of puppy behaviour and learning curves. Our pup seemed very happy during her care. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for dogs and cats since childhood. I’ve dog-sat for neighbors, taken friends’ dogs on hikes, and have experience with puppies, senior pets, and reactive dogs who need extra patience. I’ve also house-sat for families with cats and am comfortable with feeding, walks, baths, medication reminders, and creating a calm, safe environment for pets with different needs. I’m currently taking time off working in health care, and am available all day to look after your pet! I enjoy staying at home and getting out for walks in the neighborhood. Pets in my home get a calm, cozy environment that feels like a second home. I live in a two story loft suite, have a front yard (unfenced) and am a 3 minute walk away from View Royal dog park. I will follow your pet’s feeding, walk, and bedtime routines, and I supervise outdoor time with secure leashes/harnesses—no off-leash areas unless you approve. I’m comfortable with reactive or anxious pets and give them space to warm up at their own pace. I keep my home clean, safe, and free from hazards, and I send regular photo updates so you always feel connected while you’re away.
