About: Hello! My name is Taylor (they, them pronouns). I am an experienced pet owner and pet sitter. I have grown up with dogs my whole life. Large dogs, small dogs, medium sized dogs with a variety of needs and energy levels. I love walking and getting exercise and would love to take your dog with me! I can also do drop in visits for dogs and cats! Thank you :) I work from home and am in school so I can do morning or evenings on weekends and I can do weekends anytime of the day. I am very sure to follow any specific pets needs as I have had pets with a variety of needs and have also pet-sorted for pets with a variety of needs.

About: I have taken care of many dogs, cats, rodents and reptiles since I was 10. Trusted by friends, family and neighbours to follow strict care plans and medication instructions I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to cuddle and care for your pets. My work schedule is often fluid so I can make sure I’m home whenever needed. I live in an apartment right on the Galloping Goose Trail that is perfect for long walks. I have a very social cat who loves playing with other cats and dogs, perfect if you are wanting to socialize your fur baby’s.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for and raised animals of all kinds, from puppies and rescue dogs to farm animals and small pets. My own rescue dog, Indigo, taught me so much about patience, compassion, and attentive care as I supported her through both IVDD and cancer. Through that experience, I became very comfortable with medication routines, mobility support, changing needs, and providing calm, loving care through every stage of an animal’s life. I’ve also raised puppies and lived on a farm where I regularly cared for large farm dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for many different animals, including parrots, snakes, hamsters, fish, rabbits, and other small pets. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, understood, and cared for while their owners are away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m also a very active person and usually spend hours outside walking every day, so I’d genuinely love some furry companionship along the way - whether your dog prefers long adventures, slower sniff walks, or lots of playtime and attention. I live in a detached home with a fully fenced backyard and no other animals in the home, creating a calm and safe environment for your pet. I take animal care very seriously and have always treated every pet - whether my own or someone else’s - with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love. I cared for my sweet dog Indigo through both IVDD and cancer, which gave me firsthand experience supporting animals with medical needs, mobility limitations, medication routines, and changing comfort levels. That experience taught me that every animal is unique, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual routines, personalities, and care needs to help them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have had animals my entire life and have been extremely involved in training and ensuring they get the best care possible! I have done a lot of dog training in reactivity, separation anxiety, and use positive reinforcement to ensure that the relationship between me and my pet(s) is built on love and trust. With every new pet, I let them approach me and I build a foundation of trust so that obedience is not something forced but given! I work part time but I have blocked out those days so that it won’t interfere, but other wise I work 7 hour shifts so if your pet is staying when I am working, they would have to be comfortable being home alone for those hours I care for my pets by using positive reinforcement and consistency. Consistency is key and is very beneficial for ensuring my pets can succeed in all aspects of their lives. I understand dog body language and know when to approach, let them be, or let them come to me. It’s about listening to boundaries, just like with us humans!

As an adult, I have also helped care for family members’ dogs, including walks, feeding, and maintaining routines while owners were away. Your dog’s comfort and well-being is my top priority. Small Animal Care (Drop-In Visits): I also have experience caring for small animals such as rats, hamsters, and chinchillas. I have owned small animals (rats and hamsters) in the past and am comfortable with daily care routines including feeding, cage cleaning, enrichment, and health monitoring. While Rover does not list small animals as a separate service category, I’m happy to discuss drop-in visits for small pets with owners to see if I’m a good fit. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for daytime, evening, and weekend drop-in visits. I can accommodate pets who need mid-day check-ins, consistent routines, or extra attention :) I update my Rover calendar regularly and am happy to discuss scheduling needs in advance. I follow your instructions closely and stick to your pet’s routine. I make sure doors and windows are secure, food and water are fresh, litter boxes or habitats are clean, and the environment is safe before and after each visit. I always double-check locks when entering and leaving. With cats, I respect their boundaries and take time to observe behaviour, appetite, and litter box habits. I provide playtime or quiet companionship depending on the cat’s personality and keep stress to a minimum by maintaining their normal routine. For dogs, I make sure leashes, collars, and harnesses are properly fitted before walks, avoid unsafe areas, and never allow off-leash time unless explicitly approved by the owner. I monitor energy levels and weather conditions to keep walks safe and comfortable. I would walk your pets or come to your home to check on/feed them before work and after work if I were attending to them at your home. If they’re at my home, I have the flexibility to play with them at any point in the day & take them out In my home, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment free of hazards, with cozy resting spots, secure outdoor access (if needed), and plenty of stimulation to keep them happy and relaxed. I follow each pet’s routine closely, from feeding to playtime, and ensure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. Whether they’re here for a day or a week, they’re treated like family.

About: I have at least 10 years of experience with dogs, I have had all kinds of animals growing up and currently have one dog. I have dog walked, dog sat, and watched overnight for my family, friends, as well as friends of friends and family friends. I get along very well with most animals and love to be around them. I know their needs and what they can and cannot have. I am currently working part time 2 days a week , so I can do week days and weekends depending on day, mostly at anytime but we will always have a chat before hand. I’m most comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs, particularly those who walk well on leash. I’ve had experience giving medications to both cooperative and more anxious dogs, and I always approach it with patience and gentleness.
