About: I've taken care of many dogs, big and small. My dog has environmental allergies and I'm accustomed to giving medications and following a specific routine. I work from home on Monday and Friday and I am available on weekends. My dog goes for two walks per day and we walk in a safe walking area. Our home is especially good for small dogs. It has a nicely fenced back yard and a clean, comfortable space where dogs can relax and get the attention they deserve while you are away. My dog was with them for more than 3 weeks and when she came back home she was relaxed and totally herself. Maryanne was extremely responsive to my communication which made the transaction easy and my vacation stress-free. The cherry on top of the cake: 2 days prior to leaving, Twinkle started her period. I was afraid they would not take her but they were up for the challenge. Its a lot of additional care and hassle so I told Maryanne I would compensate her for the extra work it would give her : she requested a reasonable amount for compensation. I have spent my entire life spending as much time as possible with ALL types of animals. For me, growing up it was Dogs and Horses... Not only was I completely obsessed - but I was also the neighbourhood dog walker/babysitter. We lived in a fairly safe area, and most people would let their dogs have free roam. That being said, if they ever couldn't find their dogs, they were usually hanging out with 5 year old me, in my yard, or my bed. I began volunteering part time in barns and stables at the age of 7 years old. Every weekend I was taking care of all the barnyard animals, sheep, pregnant cats, injured ducks, birthing cows, nursing horses - you name it. During this time I also volunteered at the local SPCA, playing and brushing all the animals, and walking the dogs. As I grew older, I became the go-to in my neighbourhood whenever pets needed extra attention. I had two dogs on my street alone that needed regular medical support, and their owners weren't fully comfortable administering medication. One needed regular insulin injections, and one had part time subcutaneous pain management, that turned into full-time geriatric support I would help with. I was also the go-to when they couldn't take their babies on vacation with them, both in my parents house (Sorry Mom and Dad) and at their owners home. At the age of 13 I was on payroll with an elite Hunter/Jumper barn. I was part of a team that cared for 27 high performance show horses, with the most expensive horse in the barn being worth 1.2 million dollars (He happened to also be the best cuddler.) I stayed with this stable all through the rest of grade school until I went to Pharmacy school. Working with this team is still, to this day, the best working experience I have had in my life. Currently, I have the most wonderful Staffy mix, and he is truly my "soul dog". He is 8 years old and the biggest sweety pie ever, my Mother calls him "the marshmallow". We have recently signed up to be volunteers with St. John's, so that we can visit patients and eventually students who could use a dose of happiness. He loves other dogs, and kids, or anyone that will talk to him - and he will gladly share me with anyone we have in our home. About: It is our great joy to experience and encourage happy and healthy canines. We have had our own 2 large LabXs over the past 25 years, and cared for more than 10 regular guests over that time. Although we are now without a furry family member 🥲, we have many fuzzy friends, and our pockets regularly smell like liver... 😛 I work mainly from home, with good flexibilty to provide company and attention for your dog (no barkers please!). We are active, social, and would include any fur guests in these activities whenever possible. Daily walks (30-60 mins avg.) are the norm, plus yard/play time. Probably no epic hikes tho. Medium to low energy doggos would be our best fit. Shorter visits are encouraged first to get to know your beast best before longer stays.🐾 We would love to have a few regular boarding clients and perhaps occasional day care visits. Our yard, aka Dogville, is fully fenced, with lots of green grass and shaded areas available. Easy ground floor access for seniors and excitement pee-ers! Please note we live close to Butchart Gardens (fireworks*!) and the rifle range so may not be suitable for dogs with high noise sensitivity. We will only care for maximum 2 dogs at a time and only those together from same household. Basic grooming such as ear cleaning, brushing is available. Bathing is an optional service. Large, clean dog crate and dog bed available if needed.

About: Pets have always been a large part of my life. Growing up my family had a cat and a dog and I became a huge animal lover. I now share that love with my family and my kids. We have two large dogs at home and a bunch of chickens. We are excited to be able to offer care to your pets. Our homeschooling lifestyle offers lots of opportunity and flexibility to be able to build care for your pets into our daily routine and adventures. We are happy to come and meet you and your pets and make sure that we are a good fit for your family. We look forward to working with you and getting by to know and love your pets too! We are available during the week as we are home full time and our days are very flexible aside from a couple of standing appointments. We come to your home and can provide company and playtime with your pets. Do you need someone to feed and water them? Take them for a walk? Or just play and spend some time with them? About: I have had dogs my whole life and taken care of many dogs for friends and family while they are away. I raised my first dog (In my adult life) from a puppy, right through to his end of life. I also have cared for our current dog who we adopted, so I have had exposure with dogs that are experiencing re homing and adoption senarios. I love walking dogs and believe strongly that an active dog is a happy dog! I am currently looking to change careers to dog walking and sitting and am very flexible with schedule. I am available for walks from 7am-3:30pm weekdays and can be open to weekend walks as well. For in home sitting I am available weekdays and weekends after 6pm for over night stays. I am very flexible for check ins and supplementary visits/ walks during overnight stays. All walks and visits can be curated to most schedule needs with enough notice and communication. I take all the measures to care for your pets in the same loving secure way that I can for my own pets. I require all dogs to be leash walked until a safe trust has been created between all parties involved. Obviously all safety concerns of the client as to the care of their pet will be followed to the best of my ability and instruction.
About: I absolutely love animals. They are all so unique and gifted in their own ways. I love getting to know each pet, and really listen what they want/need. Every time I am with an animal I create space to just be with them and connect to their energy and together it feels like we create a bond where we understand each other in loving way. The chance to meet and connect with other animals would add so much more joy to my life. I have actively and consistently been pet sitting for a year now, watching dogs and cats. I am a solopreneuer and work from home so my schedule is flexible making it easier to keep on the same schedule you have for your furbaby. About: I have had cats or dogs my whole life. I’d love to make your travel easier by caring for your beloved fur babies while you are away from home. I work from home and can rearrange my schedule during the day to stop in and take your pets out for potty breaks or a quick walk or cuddles. I don’t currently have pets in my home, so if your pets overnight here, they will have my full attention. I live in Sidney very close to walking paths and parks for walks and playtime.
