“Shane was a gift and a blessing to our family. We were left with a last minute situation to find care for our Australian Shepard, Lucy. With no time to prepare Lucy suffered from unexpected anxiety. Shane was so patient and knowledgeable. She helped Lucy through her anxiety and by the end of their week together I have no doubt that they bonded forever. I would, without a doubt, recommend Shane as a safe, loving home to board your pet.”

“Sjako and his family took wonderful care of our little Emilio. His kids were so sweet and gentle with our dog and they took Emilio out for a hike as well. We appreciated the great communication and the photos of our dog while we were away. Thanks so much!”

“Danielle was a lifesaver taking in my newly adopted Nellie when family plans unexpectedly changed over the holidays. Although Nellie is nervous around most people at first, she warmed right up to Danielle and her pal Gibuu and settled in nicely for the few days we were gone. I appreciated Danielle’s experience and commitment to Nellie’s care and even sent me updates of their adventures! I would definitely recommend Danielle!”

“My partner and I were getting married over a weekend in Lake Cowichan and needed a great place for Scotty to stay while we tied the knot. Not only did Scotty have an amazing time with Karin, she brought him to Lake Cowichan so that he could be a part of our wedding ceremony and then took him back when we were done. We cannot thank Karin enough for making our wedding complete with all of our family members there to participate. I would highly recommend her for boarding your dog.”

“Well appointed premises, dog care was thorough and detailed. Kept us informed while we were away! Our dogs felt right at home and were able to socialize safely with other dogs.”

“Maryanne and her husband took very good care of my young energetic dog Twinkle, an Irish Water Spaniel. My dog was with them for more than 3 weeks and when she came back home she was relaxed and totally herself. Maryanne was extremely responsive to my communication which made the transaction easy and my vacation stress-free. The cherry on top of the cake: 2 days prior to leaving, Twinkle started her period. I was afraid they would not take her but they were up for the challenge. Its a lot of additional care and hassle so I told Maryanne I would compensate her for the extra work it would give her : she requested a reasonable amount for compensation. I received a couple of photos during our trip and they highlighted Twinkle second birthday party with extra treats and a birthday hat. Maryanne is for sure staying on my contact list of trusted dog sitter.”

“We are grateful to have found Andrea to take care of Charlie, our pomchi. She put us at ease from our first meeting and was a wonderful communicator for the entire time we were away. Through pictures, emails and a happy dog when we returned, everything went well. We recommend Andrea and will be in contact with her next time!”

“Lindsey was an excellent care giver to our two puppies overnight! I was feeling a bit nervous to leave them and she was very communicative and sent pictures throughout their stay which made the process a lot easier:) we already booked another sleepover!”

“Ben had a great stay with Tiana! He loves it there and runs right to her when we arrive. Tiana is a great communicator. We love all the pics of Ben and seeing him play with all the other pups!”

“Charlie clearly enjoyed his time with Kristine as he came home happy and relaxed. She was easy to communicate with, sent regular updates and photos, and was flexible around my unconfirmed pick up time due to ferry issues. I highly recommend Kristine if you live in the Cowichan Valley!”

“My husky was so well taken care of by Kelsey and her family! She came back to me happy and tired 🥰 Kelsey was so good about sending pictures and updates too, which I loved. Will definitely be dropping aloo off again when I return to Victoria”

“Amazing! Highly recommended, was in a pinch for safe boarding for my Dane and after four days Hendrix came home and slinked upstairs to our bed to pass out for 5hrs. Will be making this our primary for additional care. Highly recommended!!”

“Amy was exceptional in taking care of Leroy during his stay with her. His leg was bothering him and she took his lead and adjusted their activity together to accommodate him. She sent pictures of them spending time at the beach, and updated me on his condition. I knew he was in good hands. I am so appreciative for her gentle, knowledgeable care. I highly recommend Amy!”

“First time using Kelsey service for our little boy and I will ask her again anytime. Our dog was so happy when we came back to pick him up , we can tell he had a good time with Kelsey and her husband and also made a new friend with there dog :) thanks you so much”

“highly recommend Erin She’ was very communicative during Maggies stay She sent lots of pictures and updates and went out of her way to make sure Maggie was taken care of. Thanks again!!”

“We are very impressed with the care that Heather provided for our boy Duncan. Our dog is on a lot of different medications given at different times of the day and the schedule was followed to a T. Will be keeping Heather in mind for the future. Thanks for treating our boy like the Prince he is!”

“Both Finn and I feel very fortunate to have found Kevin and Kayla. Finn instantly took to them and that is not usual for him. He thinks they're great and I concur!”

About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.

“I wasn't there for the stay, but my dog gave Bianca 5/5 stars. Really felt confident and at ease leaving my pup with her. She was very flexible, and communication was on point. Her daily updates were awesome. I will be thinking about her whenever I need a sitter again!”

“Anna Maria took wonderful care of our cats during our 9-day trip to New Zealand. She was reliable, professional, and very caring. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our cats were in such good hands. She followed all instructions carefully and kept us updated, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and everything in perfect order. We truly appreciate her excellent work and will definitely book her again. Highly recommended!”

“Kirstin is amazing!! She is fantastic with my babies and they are always well taken care of. She always goes over and above, I would 1000% recommend her to take care of your babies, if you want someone to care for them in the same way you would! I can't recommend her enough.”

“Jennifer was great. My cats are shy, anxious and hide when I leave the house for a long time. Jennifer was able to get them out of their hiding places, which reduced their anxiety. The cats were relaxed when I returned.”

About: I have experience with cats of my own and others, I have one cat currently but have looked after family/friends/neighbour's kitties in the past. I am confident in administering medicine and other special care your cat might require!

“Brittney was fantastic! She communicated well, followed all instructions and requests, and most of all my cats liked her. She spent time to play with and groom them and clearly loves animals. There was even a little mess while I was away and Brittney wasn’t fazed. She informed me, made sure she knew how to handle it, and took care of everything. Would highly recommend!”

“I can't say enough about how professional and caring Shelby was during her visits with my two cats while I was away in England. It was such a relief knowing that someone who truly cares about animals was watching over my "little ones". Thank you Shelby.”

“I was so grateful to have Jillian look after my kitty and home while I was away. She's very friendly and sweet and sent regular updates while we were away so we knew how Geronimo was doing. She even cleaned before she left so we didn't have to do a thing when we came home. I would definitely recommend her and will book with her again. Thanks so much Jillian!”

About: I’ve always owned cats. I grew up with cats and so did my children. Unfortunately my current living situation does not allow cats so I have lots of time for yours. I’m currently working less than 30 a week so lots of time to care for your cats. My profile picture is of my cat Goldie and dog Parker
“Dorothy is true gem. She took care of my cat (and for awhile, my dog) during a very chaotic and stressful time for me. She was very kind, and flexible during this unpredictable period. She sent pics of my pets to me everyday, which was so comforting. (She even found a toy that my cat, who doesn't "do" toys, seemed to enjoy.) Superlative pet care. Thank you Dorothy. I have no hesitation in recommending you in the highest terms.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I treat animals with respect. I have little well train dog from Mexico. Learning to train her has given me more confidence to handle other dogs. I’ve foster dogs several times and loved it. Your dog will be loved well cared for ❤️ Walks are in the morning (7am-10:30) and after 3 pm. One hour long and with or without my dogs company. Depends of the preference of the other dog. I follow the instructions that the owners leave as each dog has its own routine and it’s important to keep them on that schedule. In order to make the dog feeling stable and safe.
About: I’m lucky to have two amazing dogs in my life, Luna ( a lady of a certain age! ) she belongs to my son and when she comes to me for her “holidays” we enjoy long, leisurely walks and/or a lovely swim in the ocean! And lots of cosy, curled up on the couch time. Then there’s Molly- who is a sweet golden retriever puppy belonging to my daughter. I spent a wonderful summer with Molly in tow, at just 10 weeks old, everything was new to her and delighted her. Although our walks were short, we went often and Molly made many friends in the neighbourhood! My daughter lives in the Okanagan Valley therefore, sadly I don’t get to spend nearly enough time with “our” Molly. Having said that, I do have lots of time to spend with your precious canine! I love walking and believe I would be a great companion for your dog when you can’t be there. I will strive to walk in different areas to provide visual interest to your dog and take the utmost care of him/ her at all times. I prefer on leash walks but am more than happy to play off leash games in your back yard. If your dog requires medication, I’m quite confident with that - recently Luna needed a course of injections and I was able to do that with no problems and obviously, I can feed your dog if required. At the moment I provide 2 kitties with regular overnight care and drop in visits. One of whom is diabetic & requires daily medication. I have lots of flexibility at the moment. I can offer week day and weekend service and am happy to tailor the length/ type of walk to suit your dog. I prefer to offer one on one care to deepen my bond with your dog. I am excellent housekeeper & live “lightly” in my clients homes.

“Amy is magnificent! I was a bit hesitant to put in a review as I want her available for my mutt! ;-) She is very calm and zen, loving, open and warm which was evidenced by our first meet and greet where she got on the floor and my girl just cuddled into her arms. She sent photos and updates without me asking and was flexible with last minute changes keeping Lily overnight. It is my Lily (the white French Bull Dog) that you will see on her sitter profile, and you can see for yourself how wonderful Amy is.”
About: I have had cats or dogs my whole life. I’d love to make your travel easier by caring for your beloved fur babies while you are away from home. I work from home and can rearrange my schedule during the day to stop in and take your pets out for potty breaks or a quick walk or cuddles. “Tippy loved his stay with Heather. He's an active puppy and she was so good and patient with him. We appreciated the updates and pictures showing Tippy looking completely contented in her beautiful home and we felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. Thanks Heather and we will definitely be using your services again.”

About: I worked at my local humane society back when I lived in Ontario where I was responsible for daily enclosure cleaning/maintenance as well as keeping an eye out for any unusual or concerning conditions. I handled the animals and made sure to give them some love while I could. It wasn’t my job to do that much, but I just love animals so much and that job brought me a lot of joy. Aside from that job, I’ve handled pets most of my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and more personally for 13 years I had a conure, and for about 7 I had a rabbit. Because of this, I’m very experienced with birds and rabbits especially! I am great with cats too, but my household does have one. She’s an old lady that sleeps mostly and if needed can easily be kept away from any other animals. At home I currently live with a cat who belongs to my sister, but I am her auntie and spend tons of time with her and look after her in ways such as helping with her inhaler, helping clip her nails, brushing, and so on. If my sister is away for any reason, she is fully under my care. I have a spare room that is pretty well empty with just a guest bed next to my room in my house, and because I live with a cat with Asthma, I try to keep all spaces (especially that room) scent free. I also have no problem staying at a client’s place for a few nights if we’ve established some comfortability and familiarity. I don’t have supplies or enclosures on my own, so all that would have to be provided by the owner.
“Our pup immediately settled with Criofan and had a happy calm day. We’ve booked her in for a 7 day stay soon and this experience means I am confident she will be very well looked after. But with the field to run in, the AC and the cuddles… will she want to come home?🤣”

“I can’t say enough about how great Rachel is. I highly recommend her. My dog Kai loved spending time with with her and be a farm dog for two days. If you need a dog daycare please use Rachel, she’s fabulous”

“Lindsey watched our dog and she was fantastic! Our dog is like our baby and she took great care of him! She was thoughtful in her caring responses of lots of pictures and videos and keeping us updated. She even provided the details of where they went walking! I would highly recommend Lindsey and I know we will be utilizing her amazing services again!”

“I’m the lucky one to have Monica and her boyfriend. She’s such a fantastic caregiver and sent me a lot of photos all day long. It just likes that I am with my fur baby the whole day. Dongdong was relaxed in the pictures and made a new friend. I won’t hesitate to book Monica again.”

“Andrea has been so patient with our new puppy, she treats her as if she was a part of the family. I have no doubt Nyx is already looking forward to her next visit!”

“If I had a 100 stars I would have given those to Bianca. Champ had a great time and Bianca was gracious enough to take his request last minute due to a medical emergency. Thanks so much for everything”

“We’re so grateful for Shelby walking Roxie! A detailed account of our pup’s adventures was very appreciated as we are 5000km away and were hoping for a good experience for Roxie.Prompt, great photos and she even brought a delivered package in for us.”

“First time using Kelsey service for our little boy and I will ask her again anytime. Our dog was so happy when we came back to pick him up , we can tell he had a good time with Kelsey and her husband and also made a new friend with there dog :) thanks you so much”

“We are very impressed with the care that Heather provided for our boy Duncan. Our dog is on a lot of different medications given at different times of the day and the schedule was followed to a T. Will be keeping Heather in mind for the future. Thanks for treating our boy like the Prince he is!”

“I wasn't there for the stay, but my dog gave Bianca 5/5 stars. Really felt confident and at ease leaving my pup with her. She was very flexible, and communication was on point. Her daily updates were awesome. I will be thinking about her whenever I need a sitter again!”

“Rachel and her family took great care of my dog, going on long walks, taking her to the beach, and taking her in the car when they went places. They made sure my pup was happy, healthy, and safe.”

“Monica and her family are amazing ! She put so much love and care into watching Lehu. She sent us multiple updates a day and was quick to respond. Lehu got many walks, hikes, and trips to the dog park. This was the first time we used a sitter, so it was comforting to know we could trust our dog with Monica. I hope she is free next time we need a sitter 💛”

“This is the second time boarding with Monica and the second five star review! I can't say enough great things about her care for my large pup, Hank always enjoys his time there, she sends lots of updates and pictures and he comes home happy and tired. Thank you Monica!”

“Carrie gave our rescue pup feel safe and welcome in her home. We appreciate all the photos of him enjoying his mini vacation, during walks, naps, and treat time! She really went above and beyond for our sensitive little guy. Thank you, Carrie!”

“Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my high-energy working dog! She was communicative, send awesome pictures throughout the stay, and was just wonderful in general. Thank you Michelle!”
