“You can tell right away when you meet Linda that she loves dogs. Her set up is amazing with separate roomy cages for each dog that has enough space for a crate and eating area. Seconds after getting home and saying hello to everyone Ipa went straight to her fav sleeping spot and has not moved. So glad we connected with this fantastic service.”

“Glory loves going to Danielle’s and having the chance to play with Gibuu. Danielle works on training points with Glory so she comes home even better than when she left!”

“Tiana is great!! She is one of the best Rover caregivers I’ve ever worked with. We are in Sidney for just a couple of months, and I’m so glad I found her. She is very quick to respond and very easy to work with. She has a great fenced yard and friendly pups. Ben played all weekend. Tiana also sends lots of pics. We were never left wondering how Ben was doing because pics showed up multiple times a day. We look forward to working with her in the near future.”

“Shane was a gift and a blessing to our family. We were left with a last minute situation to find care for our Australian Shepard, Lucy. With no time to prepare Lucy suffered from unexpected anxiety. Shane was so patient and knowledgeable. She helped Lucy through her anxiety and by the end of their week together I have no doubt that they bonded forever. I would, without a doubt, recommend Shane as a safe, loving home to board your pet.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently care for 4 cats and a dog of my own, so I understand the daily needs, routines, and personalities of different pets. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like family. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they deserve, whether they’re energetic or more relaxed. I also offer boarding in a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly home where your pets will get plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I work part time for myself from home, so I’m able to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to stay on top of feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins, making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I have 5 acres of space for dogs to explore and play, along with a fenced play area for safe outdoor time. I also have a friendly 2 year old lab to keep your dog company. I’m able to crate dogs if needed, depending on their routine, to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while in my care.
“Amy is without a doubt the best puppysitter we have ever had! She is thoughtful, calm, caring and above all loves and respects dogs for who they are and their needs. Amy takes the time to send updates and pictures which puts a dog parent at ease while away. Amy also is a great adventure buddy and goes on lots of hikes and walks, which was perfect for our forest-loving dog. Our dog Odin came back from a stay with Amy looking rested but tired from adventure, calm, happy, and well cared for. Her lovely place/location is ideal for a puppy staycation. Thank you Amy! Odin misses you!”

“Andrea was a great choice to watch Frank for the month that I traveled abroad with my family, She gave me constant updates and was able to cater to Frank's special needs (diabetes). Frank seemed really happy during his stay, so as a dog parent that made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Andrea and I will be using her services frequently in the future.”

“Kelsey is a great sitter, my Lucky is super happy to stay with her. Even after she often checks in with me about my dog. Seeing someone love a dog as much as she did is so lovely.”
“We are very impressed with the care that Heather provided for our boy Duncan. Our dog is on a lot of different medications given at different times of the day and the schedule was followed to a T. Will be keeping Heather in mind for the future. Thanks for treating our boy like the Prince he is!”

“What an amazing sitter. Megan helped make our wedding special by watching and bringing Bella to this special day. I would highly recommend her. My dog was so happy upon return!”

“Amazing! Highly recommended, was in a pinch for safe boarding for my Dane and after four days Hendrix came home and slinked upstairs to our bed to pass out for 5hrs. Will be making this our primary for additional care. Highly recommended!!”

“Christine and their family were so great with my anxious, and very large dog. They were so accommodating to her needs and preferences. They took her for lots of walks and swims at the lake. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup.”

“Mickey came home from his overnight stay with Janice and Bear completely exhausted. The dogs played nonstop so Mickey was in his glory. A tired dog is a happy dog! Thanks Janice and Bear!!”

“Rachel was amazing and so kind to take Milo on short notice but also soo patient with me as I scrambled to get him there and pick him up. I really appreciate her looking after him and he was so happy when I picked him up. He’s much more of a puppy than I realize but Rachel and her family were very kind and used to handling pups with the proper care. Thanks again !!”

From her calm, caring energy to her thoughtful updates and photos, I always felt reassured knowing my cats were in such good hands. About: Hi, I’m Jaimi! I bring several years of hands-on experience in both clinical and behavioural settings. I’ve worked in veterinary hospitals for three years across Toronto and Vancouver Island, including at James Bay Veterinary Clinic, where I assisted in appointments and procedures, handled dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, and supported overall patient care. Alongside my clinical experience, I spent four years volunteering as a dog walker with a rescue, working with dogs of varying backgrounds, energy levels, and behavioural needs. This gave me a strong foundation in reading body language, supporting nervous or reactive dogs, and handling a wide range of temperaments safely and calmly. I’ve also raised and trained my own dog, Rue, and have a strong personal interest in canine behaviour. I’ve recently been accepted into the University of Edinburgh, where I’ll be continuing my education in canine behaviour and training, with the long-term goal of becoming a certified clinical animal behaviourist. I’m based in the Cowichan Valley (near Duncan) and love getting dogs out on local trails, river walks, and quiet nature spots. My approach to care is structured, attentive, and tailored to each individual dog. I offer both one-on-one walks and small, well-matched group hikes, with a focus on calm handling, safety, and positive group dynamics. I typically start dogs one-on-one to get to know them before introducing them into a group setting if appropriate. I’m also happy to reinforce any training you’re currently working on, whether that’s leash skills, recall, or general manners — consistency is key, and I’m mindful of maintaining your dog’s routine. If you’re looking for thoughtful, reliable care with a behaviour-focused approach, I’d love to connect. Jaimi 🐾 I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate consistent, focused time to pet care throughout the week. I typically structure my days around morning and afternoon walks/hikes, with availability for drop-in visits and additional care as needed. I aim to keep a steady and predictable routine for the dogs in my care, while still being able to accommodate different schedules when possible. Whether your dog thrives on consistency or needs a bit more flexibility, I do my best to work with their individual routine. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care that fits naturally into your dog’s day. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I aim to provide calm, structured, and attentive care so each pet feels secure and well-supported. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I carefully follow all instructions around feeding, medication, and exercise, and I pay close attention to behaviour and body language to ensure your pet is comfortable and not experiencing stress. For walks and hikes, I use safe, positive handling techniques and make decisions based on each dog’s individual needs. Dogs are kept on leash unless they are in a safe, appropriate environment and have reliable recall, with owner approval. I’m mindful of surroundings, group dynamics, and safety at all times. With my veterinary background, I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring for any changes in health, and responding calmly in unexpected situations. I also take the time to build trust with each dog through patience and consistency, creating a safe and positive experience.
“I can't say enough about how professional and caring Shelby was during her visits with my two cats while I was away in England. It was such a relief knowing that someone who truly cares about animals was watching over my "little ones". Thank you Shelby.”

About: I’m lucky to have two amazing dogs in my life, Luna ( a lady of a certain age! ) she belongs to my son and when she comes to me for her “holidays” we enjoy long, leisurely walks and/or a lovely swim in the ocean! And lots of cosy, curled up on the couch time. Then there’s Molly- who is a sweet golden retriever puppy belonging to my daughter. I spent a wonderful summer with Molly in tow, at just 10 weeks old, everything was new to her and delighted her. Although our walks were short, we went often and Molly made many friends in the neighbourhood! My daughter lives in the Okanagan Valley therefore, sadly I don’t get to spend nearly enough time with “our” Molly. Having said that, I do have lots of time to spend with your precious canine! I love walking and believe I would be a great companion for your dog when you can’t be there. I will strive to walk in different areas to provide visual interest to your dog and take the utmost care of him/ her at all times. I prefer on leash walks but am more than happy to play off leash games in your back yard. If your dog requires medication, I’m quite confident with that - recently Luna needed a course of injections and I was able to do that with no problems and obviously, I can feed your dog if required. At the moment I provide 2 kitties with regular overnight care and drop in visits. One of whom is diabetic & requires daily medication. I have lots of flexibility at the moment. I can offer week day and weekend service and am happy to tailor the length/ type of walk to suit your dog. I prefer to offer one on one care to deepen my bond with your dog. I am excellent housekeeper & live “lightly” in my clients homes.

“Highly recommend! Thank you both so very much!! You are kind, professional, and wonderful dog caregivers. I knew you both would have given him so much love and attention during our absence. Our pup was very happy when we came home. He was well cared for and very much appreciated the excellent communication and pictures throughout the care. We are looking forward to seeing you both again!”

“Our 2 year-old dog stayed with Danielle while we visited family and we knew she was in great hands. Danielle has a great fenced area for them to run and play and she is clearly very experienced with dogs and we will readily look her up again if we need sitting in the area again in the future.”

“Criofan was great, we were travelling from Edmonton and decided to do a last minute Whale Watching Tour. Within 5 minutes Criofan responded and we had Luna booked in to play for the day. We really appreciated the late night pick up at 10pm, was flexible for us to enjoy our time in Victoria without feeling rushed. The drive was only 20 mins, but was definitely worth the drive, huge space for Luna to run with Albert. Really appreciated the messages after dropping Luna off, put my mind at ease that she was behaving. Highly recommend, we got back a happy tired pooch!”

“Ben had a great time at daycare! There was playing with other dogs, hiking, and nap time when everyone was tired. Tiana is the best at sending pics! Thanks so much for taking such good care of our boy!”

“We were very happy to leave our dog with Bee and Scott and their dog. Our dog was well cared for as Bee walked him a couple of times, at least for an hour.each time. Our pup enjoyed playing with their dog who was very well behaved. Bee fed our dog lunch and cuddled with him on the couch. Bee's love of dogs and her affection for our dog was obvious. Bee sent us several pictures throughout the day which we enjoyed. We felt reassured leaving our pup with her for the day. We would recommend Bee and Scott as dog sitters!”

“Linda provided amazing care for my dog! Super helpful to deal with, accommodated my busy schedule, and my dog came back happy! Thank you so much for looking after my precious pup. I feel lucky to have found you, and will definitely be back again:)”

“Kristine was so accommodating… on a last minute booking. She welcomed Ruby with lots of love and enthusiasm. She sent us photos and updates which we we loved. Ruby was well cared for.”

“Andrea took my dog in last minute and freed up some days to watch her longer. I was able to bring macie to her house beforehand to see if Macie was comfortable and could trust her giving all of Macie’s medications. She also sent me photos everyday which I really appreciated !”

“I felt very lucky to find a sitter that would take my pup and Tannis (and her patient family) spent quality time with my girl. Her location was perfect for me, I picked up a very happy puppy, and I could not feel more confident leaving my sweet girl in her care. Thank you Tannis!”

“Jonathan has become a real staple sitter for us! My dog Luna has an absolute blast and the level of care is great. She gets lots of walks, cuddles and play time with their lovely dog Indy. About: Hi! I’m an animal lover offering a fun, caring home and lots of attention for your pets while you’re away. I work from home, so I’m able to spend plenty of time with them throughout the day. I’ve had cats my entire life and have cared for dogs and cats for extended periods, including pets needing medications and diabetic cats requiring injections. I live in a house with a small backyard and am close to a dog park, neighbourhood walks and nearby trails. I also have a car for outings. I have a small two-year-old Frenchie and a confident six-year-old cat who are both part of our home. I’m also happy to do drop-ins or house sitting. Since I work remotely, I can spend a lot of time with your pet while working. For overnight house sitting, I would need to bring my Frenchie, so we’d make sure that’s a good fit first. I’m warm, attentive and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine. I’m best suited to calm or moderately active pets and don’t accept aggressive or extremely high-energy dogs. I’ll treat your pets like my own and am happy to send regular photo updates so you know they’re happy and well cared for. ❤️ Since I work remotely, I have lots of flexibility throughout the day and can give pets plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, and care around their usual routine. I treat every pet like they’re my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. I follow care instructions closely and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness.

“Christy was great with Steiner, our one year-old puppy, who is still learning how to behave. Christy lives very close to all the activities in Victoria, B. C., so dropping Steiner off was so easy. Thank you for taking care of our puppy, Christy.”
“Tippy loved his stay with Heather. He's an active puppy and she was so good and patient with him.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for over a decade and love animals. Since I was a kid animals have been drawn to me and feel safe due to my calm and caring nature. I’m active and take my dog on daily walks. I love hiking and exploring nature with my furry companions. My schedule is Tuesday-Friday and I start at 8 and my husband is off at 3:30. Both of us work 5 minutes away from home and are able to come back to the house on our lunch break if your dog needs a potty break or a quick walk. I always walk my own dog in the morning before work so he is more tired during the day. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to roam around in and my own dog to keep your dog company during the time I’m at work.

“I wasn't there for the stay, but my dog gave Bianca 5/5 stars. Really felt confident and at ease leaving my pup with her. She was very flexible, and communication was on point. Her daily updates were awesome. I will be thinking about her whenever I need a sitter again!”

“Our pup stayed with Chris and Amy for 5 days over Christmas while we were away visiting family and we couldn’t have imagined a more caring and sweet family for our dog to stay with. Thank you Chris and Amy from the bottom of ours hearts for having our pup and everything you did to make his stay so enjoyable and fun. We knew that he would be in the very best of hands with you and your loving family. Thank you for making his Christmas so special filled with love and care. ??❄️”
