“Sjako and his family took wonderful care of our little Emilio. His kids were so sweet and gentle with our dog and they took Emilio out for a hike as well. We appreciated the great communication and the photos of our dog while we were away. Thanks so much!”

“Linda took such amazing care of my Lola this past weekend. I really appreciated the photo and updates on how Lola was doing. Lola will definitely be staying with Linda again in the future. Thankyou for taking such good care of Lola. I would absolutely recommend Linda for doggy care.”

“Tiana is great!! She is one of the best Rover caregivers I’ve ever worked with. We are in Sidney for just a couple of months, and I’m so glad I found her. She is very quick to respond and very easy to work with. She has a great fenced yard and friendly pups. Ben played all weekend. Tiana also sends lots of pics. We were never left wondering how Ben was doing because pics showed up multiple times a day. We look forward to working with her in the near future.”

“Was a pleasure to meet Lindsey today. She took excellent care of my two Westies. They enjoyed their day with her kids and family pets. It was definitely a fun day for them. Would highly recommend Lindsey, and will definitely arrange another booking in the future.”

“Andrea and her family took great care of our Loki for a week, following the care instructions we provided and sending us frequent updates and photos. We felt Loki was in great hands, we would not hesitate to recommend her and book with her again if we are ever in need again in Victoria!”

We really appreciated the great communication and photo updates. Our dog was well cared for and made some new best friends. Thanks again!”

“We are very impressed with the care that Heather provided for our boy Duncan. Our dog is on a lot of different medications given at different times of the day and the schedule was followed to a T. Will be keeping Heather in mind for the future. Thanks for treating our boy like the Prince he is!”

“Deidre was super attentive and caring! Bear had lots of exercise and attention and enjoyed playing with Hoppy and Raven, who accepted her as one of the pack and both looked sad when she left. Bear cut her paw playing, which is not uncommon for her as she spins with a stick when she plays outside. Deidre spotted it immediately, contacted us, and offered to take her to the vet but she was also open to our usual treatment, of rest, keeping the paw clean, and flushing with saline solution. Deidre even had experience with this and did a great job. Her paw is looking good and we couldn’t be happier with the care our pooch received!”

“I wasn't there for the stay, but my dog gave Bianca 5/5 stars. Really felt confident and at ease leaving my pup with her. She was very flexible, and communication was on point. Her daily updates were awesome. I will be thinking about her whenever I need a sitter again!”

About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.
“Our 13 year old Ruby stayed with Maryanne overnight. Maryanne sent text and photo updates to let us know the dog was doing alright. Ruby enjoyed the backyard with their dog. Unfortunately, Ruby made a mistake on the area rug! So sorry about that.”

“Ernie had a great time at his sleepover! Haley and Mark were communicative and made every effort to make sure our guy would be happy with his stay. They were also accommodating with our schedule which was very helpful!”

“Brittney was fantastic! She communicated well, followed all instructions and requests, and most of all my cats liked her. She spent time to play with and groom them and clearly loves animals. There was even a little mess while I was away and Brittney wasn’t fazed. She informed me, made sure she knew how to handle it, and took care of everything. Would highly recommend!”

“Anna Maria did another excellent job caring for our cats while we were away. She is reliable, caring, and attentive to their needs, including special feeding and medication routines. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our cats are in such capable hands. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and everything was in perfect order. This is the second time we have entrusted our cats to Anna Maria, and once again she exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Anna Maria to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter.”

“Jennifer is absolutely amazing and most definitely a cat whisperer! Our dear cat is very nervous and shy but Jennifer had her feeling so safe and comfortable. Jennifer was able to offer such generous care and updates to us, navigate our cat's medication and made sure she was safe during a heat wave! Above all Jennifer is simply a kind and thoughtful person and we are very grateful to have had her to look after our cat. I cannot recommend Jennifer highly enough!”

“Kirstin is amazing!! She is fantastic with my babies and they are always well taken care of. She always goes over and above, I would 1000% recommend her to take care of your babies, if you want someone to care for them in the same way you would! I can't recommend her enough.”

“This was my first time using a pet sitting service and Lauren was an excellent introduction. She and my cat Pigeon became fast friends. Lauren provided me with daily updates on how Pigeon was doing, which was wonderful and put my mind at ease. Lauren was professional, kind and my cat loved her! I will certainly book her again in the future.”

About: Hey all you Pet Parents! Leaving your babies with someone you don't know can be terrifying, and to be honest, I was never able to leave my baby in a daycare - So I totally know what you are feeling right now! I will make sure they know how much they are loved, and I will always send pictures and updates to put your mind at ease! Each and every fur baby is the most special, and I always make sure they know that. My name is Hanna and animals are truly my life. I have spent my entire life spending as much time as possible with ALL types of animals. For me, growing up it was Dogs and Horses... Not only was I completely obsessed - but I was also the neighbourhood dog walker/babysitter. We lived in a fairly safe area, and most people would let their dogs have free roam. That being said, if they ever couldn't find their dogs, they were usually hanging out with 5 year old me, in my yard, or my bed. I began volunteering part time in barns and stables at the age of 7 years old. Every weekend I was taking care of all the barnyard animals, sheep, pregnant cats, injured ducks, birthing cows, nursing horses - you name it. During this time I also volunteered at the local SPCA, playing and brushing all the animals, and walking the dogs. As I grew older, I became the go-to in my neighbourhood whenever pets needed extra attention. I had two dogs on my street alone that needed regular medical support, and their owners weren't fully comfortable administering medication. One needed regular insulin injections, and one had part time subcutaneous pain management, that turned into full-time geriatric support I would help with. I was also the go-to when they couldn't take their babies on vacation with them, both in my parents house (Sorry Mom and Dad) and at their owners home. At the age of 13 I was on payroll with an elite Hunter/Jumper barn. I was part of a team that cared for 27 high performance show horses, with the most expensive horse in the barn being worth 1.2 million dollars (He happened to also be the best cuddler.) I stayed with this stable all through the rest of grade school until I went to Pharmacy school. Working with this team is still, to this day, the best working experience I have had in my life. Currently, I have the most wonderful Staffy mix, and he is truly my "soul dog". He is 8 years old and the biggest sweety pie ever, my Mother calls him "the marshmallow". We have recently signed up to be volunteers with St. John's, so that we can visit patients and eventually students who could use a dose of happiness. He loves other dogs, and kids, or anyone that will talk to him - and he will gladly share me with anyone we have in our home. I have both the passion, and the experience to give your babies not only the love they deserve, but also the care that they need while you are away, either at work or on vacation. If you have any questions at all, please reach out and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Take Care xo I own my own business so I am very flexible with time, and absolutely love being able to switch gears, get some fresh air with the dogs and give my brain a break! I am extremely professional and will follow your directions for how you’d like your dog (and me) to behave in the home - consistency is important! I have had multiple clients give me their keys or door codes to come and go with absolutely no concerns, I’m only there for your pets! My home has a very large fenced yard where your pet can safely explore to their hearts content. I am very comfortable with all animals, and am able to uphold any training regimens you may have (including e-collars, alternative collars etc)

I always leave spaces in the same condition I came to them in and will be respectful always be respectful of your homes. I should be able to follow any routines that your pet already has and enjoys!

“Danielle has been caring for my dogs for a couple months now - they have had an overnight and many daycare days. I trust Danielle with their care, they are happy and tired when they get home, and her communication is clear and consistent. She has been a dream find for me!”

“Kristine was so accommodating… on a last minute booking. She welcomed Ruby with lots of love and enthusiasm. She sent us photos and updates which we we loved. Ruby was well cared for.”

“Jaylynn took care of our dog, Mr. Bond. This was the first time we hired a dog sitter (he is almost 4 year old). Even though it was only 3 days but we were very nervous about it. Jaylynn took extra time to meet us ahead of time so that we could be more comfortable. During those 3 days she sent us pictures and let us know how he was doing. We are so glad to find a great sitter for Mr. Bond and will recommend Jaylynn to anyone. Thank you so much!”
“Michelle was kindly available at very late notice after our other arrangement fell through. She was fantastic with Bertie and he had a great day of hiking, playing in the pool and chilling in Michelle’s house. Got lots of picture/video updates thought out the day which was much appreciated. Michelle really looked after Bertie like he was her own. Highly recommend !”

“We were very happy to leave our dog with Bee and Scott and their dog. Our dog was well cared for as Bee walked him a couple of times, at least for an hour.each time. Our pup enjoyed playing with their dog who was very well behaved. Bee fed our dog lunch and cuddled with him on the couch. Bee's love of dogs and her affection for our dog was obvious. Bee sent us several pictures throughout the day which we enjoyed. We felt reassured leaving our pup with her for the day. We would recommend Bee and Scott as dog sitters!”

“Linda provided amazing care for my dog! Super helpful to deal with, accommodated my busy schedule, and my dog came back happy! Thank you so much for looking after my precious pup. I feel lucky to have found you, and will definitely be back again:)”

“Our little Oliver loves going to Katrina's house! Her home is warm and loving, Katrina and her family include Oliver in their day to day lives which to me is really important. I feel that this inclusion makes it so Oliver doesn't miss his Mum & Dad as much, good distractions! Her home is situated in an area that is more of a rural setting with lots of places to play and walk that is away from any traffic. He has a special friend at Katrina's house and whenever I mention her name, he gets really excited! Try her, you will love her as we do!”

“Amy is magnificent! I was a bit hesitant to put in a review as I want her available for my mutt! ;-) She is very calm and zen, loving, open and warm which was evidenced by our first meet and greet where she got on the floor and my girl just cuddled into her arms. She sent photos and updates without me asking and was flexible with last minute changes keeping Lily overnight. It is my Lily (the white French Bull Dog) that you will see on her sitter profile, and you can see for yourself how wonderful Amy is.”
About: Dear pet parents, over the past 8 years, I’ve been traveling the world as a full time house and pet sitter lovingly caring for dogs and cats across six continents. For me, a home without pets simply doesn’t feel like home 🐱🐶 Along the way, I’ve also regularly worked in animal rescue which has given me experience with anxious animals as well as administering medication. I'm currently living and traveling in Canada and would love to offer my services. Feel free to message me and I’m happy to share lots of positive references 🤍 All the best, Verena I am currently studying online and spend a lot of time at home myself, which means I can dedicate plenty of time to your pets. However, since I also love being in nature, I enjoy taking long walks and even longer hikes. I prefer to care for animals in their familiar environment, at your home, and I do my best to stick to their usual routines and daily habits, as I have found through many years of experience that this is what is best for the animal. :)
“Ben had a great time at daycare! There was playing with other dogs, hiking, and nap time when everyone was tired. Tiana is the best at sending pics! Thanks so much for taking such good care of our boy!”

“Jessica took wonderful care of our dog Hooper while we were on a whale watching trip. She took him on good walks and to the beach. She has a calm and kind way with animals and we are so glad she was able to spend the day with Hooper!”

About: I have had cats or dogs my whole life. I’d love to make your travel easier by caring for your beloved fur babies while you are away from home. I work from home and can rearrange my schedule during the day to stop in and take your pets out for potty breaks or a quick walk or cuddles. I don’t currently have pets in my home, so if your pets overnight here, they will have my full attention. I live in Sidney very close to walking paths and parks for walks and playtime.
“Sasha had a great day with Heather and Ivan. Not only did they make their home welcoming to her, they also made sure she got out for some exercise and fun! It’s much easier to walk away when you pooch walks straight into their home and starts checking things out and we were greeted warmly. I would for sure reach out To Heather again. Thanks for the positive experience and caring for Sasha.”

About: It is our great joy to experience and encourage happy and healthy canines. We have had our own 2 large LabXs over the past 25 years, and cared for more than 10 regular guests over that time. Although we are now without a furry family member 🥲, we have many fuzzy friends, and our pockets regularly smell like liver... 😛 I work mainly from home, with good flexibilty to provide company and attention for your dog (no barkers please!). We are active, social, and would include any fur guests in these activities whenever possible. Daily walks (30-60 mins avg.) are the norm, plus yard/play time. Probably no epic hikes tho. Medium to low energy doggos would be our best fit. Shorter visits are encouraged first to get to know your beast best before longer stays.🐾 We would love to have a few regular boarding clients and perhaps occasional day care visits. Our yard, aka Dogville, is fully fenced, with lots of green grass and shaded areas available. Easy ground floor access for seniors and excitement pee-ers! Please note we live close to Butchart Gardens (fireworks*!) and the rifle range so may not be suitable for dogs with high noise sensitivity. We will only care for maximum 2 dogs at a time and only those together from same household. Basic grooming such as ear cleaning, brushing is available. Bathing is an optional service. Large, clean dog crate and dog bed available if needed.
“Criofan was great, we were travelling from Edmonton and decided to do a last minute Whale Watching Tour. Within 5 minutes Criofan responded and we had Luna booked in to play for the day. We really appreciated the late night pick up at 10pm, was flexible for us to enjoy our time in Victoria without feeling rushed. The drive was only 20 mins, but was definitely worth the drive, huge space for Luna to run with Albert. Really appreciated the messages after dropping Luna off, put my mind at ease that she was behaving. Highly recommend, we got back a happy tired pooch!”

“We loved having Kristine help us! We were in a last-minute pinch with work schedules and care for our very young puppy and Kristine jumped in and helped us right away. She got back to us immediately, which instantly put our minds at ease, and we felt even better after having met her in person. Kristine is a very kind hearted person and extremely professional, timely, and very friendly over all. It’s scary to let someone into your house while you’re not home! And even scarier to trust them with your pet’s safety. Kristine and her constant updates and photos absolutely gave us peace of mind that everything went splendidly and we are very happy to have her help us again. Peace of mind is priceless!”

“Kirstin is fantastic. She was the first dog walker we had after bringing my rescue dog home, and she was such a huge help with leash manners, attention redirection, helping her to get comfortable with nail trims, in addition to all the walks. We are bummed that she is moving and can’t continue with us, but I know she will be making a difference for all the other pets and pet parents she meets in her new location. If anyone needs a dog walker whose first priority is understanding and meeting your dog’s needs with genuine care, choose Kirstin.”

Obviously all safety concerns of the client as to the care of their pet will be followed to the best of my ability and instruction.
About: I absolutely love animals. They are all so unique and gifted in their own ways. I love getting to know each pet, and really listen what they want/need. Every time I am with an animal I create space to just be with them and connect to their energy and together it feels like we create a bond where we understand each other in loving way. The chance to meet and connect with other animals would add so much more joy to my life. I have actively and consistently been pet sitting for a year now, watching dogs and cats. I am a solopreneuer and work from home so my schedule is flexible making it easier to keep on the same schedule you have for your furbaby. I ensure to keep things just as your pet likes it in their own home, as closely as possible. From experience not many pets like change, so this is important to me that I meet them where they are at.

“Hanna was so kind and calm with my dog, Penelope. We were in the area while I worked at a local business - she was very accommodating and flexible which I really appreciated! Hanna looked after Penelope for about 4 hours, walking her around and was even kind enough to ask if she could take P to her backyard where she was able to wander around off leash and sniff and have cuddles in the shade. Hanna kept in touch with me the whole time and even sent some videos so I knew what they were up to. Will absolutely reach out if I’m working in the area again, highly recommended! Thanks again Hanna ??”

“Sjako and his family took wonderful care of our little Emilio. His kids were so sweet and gentle with our dog and they took Emilio out for a hike as well. We appreciated the great communication and the photos of our dog while we were away. Thanks so much!”

“Karin was a huge help taking on a last minute booking to care for our dog. She was quick to respond, took great care of him and provided updates regularly. Will definitely book her again!”

“Ernie had a great time at his sleepover! Haley and Mark were communicative and made every effort to make sure our guy would be happy with his stay. They were also accommodating with our schedule which was very helpful!”

“Simply the best. always great and so accommodating. My dogs love them both. It takes all the stress out of leaving your valued pets. Thank you Malcolm and Annette”

“Phenomenal experience. Prompt responses, amazing communication, my pup absolutely adored her and was exhausted once I brought her home. Highly recommend and will be using again”

“Monica and her partner are gems!! My first time leave my big, 1 year old, four legged son with someone and it was a last minute decision to try find someone. I’m so glad we came across Monica’s profile. Arthur can be reactive and high energy, and stubborn, and she managed wonderfully and he had an amazing time. Would highly recommend her and hopefully will get the chance to have Arthur in her care again. Thank you Monica - and for the updates and photos!!”

“Amelia was very phenomenal taking care of my dog Tails. She was also very accommodating and understanding when I couldn't make it on time for pick up due to flight disruption. Strongly recommended to everyone for her outstanding service.”

“Monica was amazing! She took such great care of our dog and kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Her kids were incredibly sweet and so good with him—it was clear he felt comfortable and loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Monica again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!”

“Ting and family were great with our energetic Lab! Very responsive and caring. Got lots of updates, pictures and videos!! I would trust them to care for him again anytime!”
