About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 3 indoor cats and caring for my grandparents German Shepherds. I fostered many dogs and cats with my roommates in University, and worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 2+ years. I’ve rescued a senior dog from the SPCA (who since passed) and now have a 3.5yr Rottweiler. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can make myself available at anytime needed to provide care for your pets. A typical day with my dog consists morning potty, breakfast, long walk, indoor mental play time, supper, outside potty and more play time. It’s not uncommon to go for off-leash walks in a park. Another activity we enjoy is mental enrichment - either a mind game with treats or frozen kong. I have a condo in Westhills. There are many parks and trails nearby. I also have a SUV I use to take the dogs on adventures to the beach, hikes, etc. As for care in your home; I like to maintain whatever schedule you have!

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for and raised animals of all kinds, from puppies and rescue dogs to farm animals and small pets. My own rescue dog, Indigo, taught me so much about patience, compassion, and attentive care as I supported her through both IVDD and cancer. Through that experience, I became very comfortable with medication routines, mobility support, changing needs, and providing calm, loving care through every stage of an animal’s life. I’ve also raised puppies and lived on a farm where I regularly cared for large farm dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for many different animals, including parrots, snakes, hamsters, fish, rabbits, and other small pets. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, understood, and cared for while their owners are away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m also a very active person and usually spend hours outside walking every day, so I’d genuinely love some furry companionship along the way - whether your dog prefers long adventures, slower sniff walks, or lots of playtime and attention. I live in a detached home with a fully fenced backyard and no other animals in the home, creating a calm and safe environment for your pet. I’m an intuitive energy ( Reiki Master ) healer which allows me to connect and understand your dog’s needs at a deeper level. If your dog is nervous or afraid of new people and/ or surroundings, i’m able to calm them with a little energy treatment. I also have many years of teaching and practicing first aid under my belt, as well as 11years of caring for my first dog Charlie. For overnight / daycare : we live in a coach house in Langford BC - a close drive to Royal Oak Beach. It’s such a beautiful, safe neighbourhood to explore and go for walks. Sooke Hills Wilderness Park is just 3mins away. Note there is a set of stairs leading up to my living space so for those dogs that can’t do stairs I might not be a good fit. I am available to sit at your home though if it’s easier. I’m currently working from home writing my film. My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time for play and walks. Your pet is always my first priority though and I will customize my days around their schedule and care. Dogs are always leashed and well cared for when out for walks. I don’t have a yard or anywhere they can escape from. Their safety will always be my first priority.

About: I’m lucky to have two amazing dogs in my life, Luna ( a lady of a certain age! ) she belongs to my son and when she comes to me for her “holidays” we enjoy long, leisurely walks and/or a lovely swim in the ocean! And lots of cosy, curled up on the couch time. Then there’s Molly- who is a sweet golden retriever puppy belonging to my daughter. I spent a wonderful summer with Molly in tow, at just 10 weeks old, everything was new to her and delighted her. Although our walks were short, we went often and Molly made many friends in the neighbourhood! My daughter lives in the Okanagan Valley therefore, sadly I don’t get to spend nearly enough time with “our” Molly. Having said that, I do have lots of time to spend with your precious canine! I love walking and believe I would be a great companion for your dog when you can’t be there. I will strive to walk in different areas to provide visual interest to your dog and take the utmost care of him/ her at all times. I prefer on leash walks but am more than happy to play off leash games in your back yard. If your dog requires medication, I’m quite confident with that - recently Luna needed a course of injections and I was able to do that with no problems and obviously, I can feed your dog if required. At the moment I provide 2 kitties with regular overnight care and drop in visits. One of whom is diabetic & requires daily medication. I have lots of flexibility at the moment. I can offer week day and weekend service and am happy to tailor the length/ type of walk to suit your dog. I prefer to offer one on one care to deepen my bond with your dog. I am excellent housekeeper & live “lightly” in my clients homes.

About: I have a beautiful, sweet kitty in my life but I need more love and I’m hoping to get it from your pets! I grew up on a hobby farm with all sorts of animals. I have experience with cats, dogs, small animals, birds, large livestock and even insects and arachnids. I have to say living in the farm has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Through my many years experience with pets I have learned to read the body language and eye contact of a variety of animals making it easier to build trust and a better connection. I’m attentive and affectionate and am confident your loved ones will be in safe in my loving hands. I work part time from home in the insurance industry but would love to eventually make Rover my fulltime career. I am able to take your pet outside to the bathroom anytime of the day and can go for mini walks on my breaks before the big adventure after work.
