What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. I worked with horses for five years and have spent the last three years working with and around dogs. I also raised and trained my own dog from puppyhood, who is now a government-certified service dog. That journey taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand each animal’s unique needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own, focusing on their safety, comfort, and happiness while you’re away.

A typical day
A typical day is filled with a mix of exercise, enrichment, training, relaxation, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I like to keep pets on a comfortable routine while also giving them opportunities to explore and have fun. Depending on the pet’s needs, we may go for walks, explore local parks and trails, practice basic training, play games, work on enrichment activities, or simply relax and enjoy some quiet time together. I especially enjoy incorporating mental stimulation such as scent games, puzzle toys, treat searches, and confidence-building activities. For dogs, I love getting outside for walks and adventures while making sure they also have plenty of downtime. I’ll always adjust activities based on their age, energy level, personality, and comfort. Most importantly, I want every pet in my care to feel safe, loved, included, and like they’re having their own little vacation while their family is away! 🐾
