A typical day
Whether I am doing over night pet sits, or daily walks, you can be assured that your fur baby will receive all of my attention an be comfortable the entire time. I really enjoy all types of activities such as playing ball (fetch), hide and seek, and lots of belly rubs. Depending on your animal's abilities, I can even do hikes in the wilderness. If they are a more relaxed and slow dog, I can brush them and spend quality time with them.

Pet care experience
Animals have been a cherished part of my life since childhood, when I had the joy of growing up with 2 dogs. The pure happiness animals bring to me remains truly unmatched by anything else in life. I have been professionally pet sitting for 2 years and I have had the experience to care for many breeds and ages. From energetic husky pups to a blind senior lab that required medication and more specific care. I absolutely love animals and miss being around them when I'm not caring for them or walking them.

I wish I could give 100 stars to Kirk! He is the most amazing pet and house sitter who went above and beyond in every way. He prioritized excellent care and attention for our dog Violet, and built a meaningful bond with her over his 2 week stay. He truly loves animals and it is apparent that he is very good at adapting and learning each animal's individual needs. He sent the BEST photos and updates everyday, and took Violet on new adventures daily; to the dog park, many walks and he even took her to the local pet cafe and bought her a special bacon donut! When we arrived home our house was beyond spotless. I was amazed at his cleaning job. He is the sweetest person that was happy to share stories and make a connection with us too. I feel I have a new friend in Kirk and would welcome him back with open arms. Pet owners will be happy to have him! We cannot thank Kirk enough for taking care of our sweet Violet.
Kirk was absolutely wonderful with our dog Henri. This was our first time booking with him and we honestly couldn’t have felt better about it. He took such great care of Henri, kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was clear from the start that Henri bonded right away with him. What really stood out was how attentive he was - when Henri seemed a little off one day, Kirk checked in right away, adjusted the walk, and even offered to come back later just to make sure he was okay. That kind of care gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that Kirk truly cares about the fur babies he works with. We came home to a happy pup, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. Highly recommend!
We couldn’t have asked for better dog sitter and walker in Kirk. From the very beginning, Kirk was professional, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to communicate with. Kirk kept us updated throughout with fantastic photos and messages that clearly showed how well our dog was being cared for and how much attention and affection she was receiving. One thing that especially stood out was the amount of time and care Kirk put into walking and exercising her. She came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved — it was obvious she had enjoyed plenty of walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention throughout the week. Kirk really treated her like part of the family rather than “just” another dog. When we returned home, the house was spotless, and our dog was calm, content, and completely comfortable. It gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing she was in such capable hands. Kirk is an excellent caregiver, but also great problem solver, who handles everything calmly and proactively. We would welcome Kirk back anytime and recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for trustworthy, responsible, active, and genuinely caring sitter.
The telltale sign of a great pet sitter is when your dogs are thrilled to have them back and that was obvious as soon as Kirk showed up. Thoughtful, smart, tidy, respectful, fun, great communication with pics, attention to detail - he is awesome! It's obvious Kirk developed a great bond with our girls and understood their needs and differing personalities. Don't hesitate to book Kirk - unless we need him on those dates, then he is ours ;) A great person.
