Hello! I’m an avid dog lover with experience working with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. I’m a certified Veterinary Medical Assistant and worked in a vet clinic for two years. I also have experience as a dog walker and have worked in a doggy daycare, so I’m comfortable with multiple dogs, routines, and high-energy pups. I share my home with my rescue dog, Stella. I adopted her five years ago and she came with some reactivity rooted in frustration — through training and consistency she’s now confident and social, and she loves having other dogs over. Because of her journey, I’m very comfortable with reactive or nervous dogs and can give them the patience and understanding they need. However, if your dog is reactive/nervous around high energy dogs, I will not be able to board. But can do walks or drop ins for your dog! I’m active and love to get outside — if your dog enjoys longer walks or runs, I’m happy to take them along for extra exercise! Currently not working a full time job so I am home most of the time! April was very kind and asked for a meet and greet to make sure our pup and her dog would get along. In the end April's dog was booked on a daycare walk and was out of the house on the day we dropped our dog off. Regardless, it was good of her to see if the dogs were a good fit together before we dropped ours off. Our dog had a nice, relaxing day at home alone with April - she sent us pictures! Thank you!
April was so wonderful with Toque and took extra steps to make sure our dogs would be able to co-exist happily together. Toque is often quite anxious but he was so calm when I picked him up!
This was my puppy’s first time being cared for and she had a great time! April is so lovely and warm, her home is perfectly set up and Stella is a great big sister companion. Winnie had the care and attention she needed and will be heading back again soon!
Thank you for being so amazing with Sammy, April and Stella. He came home happy and not upset with us for leaving him. April is a great communicator. I got lots of msgs, pics and videos over the weekend. Sammy will definitely be back.
April was awesome. She had a sudden serious personal event come up at the last minute but still went well out of way to accommodate me and Moe! Service above and beyond! I really appreciated the regular check-ins complete with photos of the little guy. Highly recommend!
April was wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone I know. She had excellent communication, she was flexible with our schedule, and she provided great little updates/pictures on our pups. We’re excited to see her again in the future.

Schedule
I am currently unemployed, and when I go back to work it will be remote. So I have a very flexible schedule and your pet will have a lot of attention!

I have a front and back fenced yard. The back yard is big enough for potty breaks. I have a cozy home and the pets are allowed on furniture or bed but let me know if this is not ok for you or they need a crate at night and/or when I'm out of the house.

I have many walking trails near my house and I like to take my girl to mount Doug or beaver lake at least once a week for variety!
