I work as an educational assistant in a secondary school and my partner is a physics PhD student at UVic. My work is 9-3 everyday and his schedule is flexible. For dogs we used to split the walks into morning walk (him) and evening walk (myself or us both). For cats it will be flexible because our schedules make it at least one of us will be at home for most of the time of the day (18-24 hours)

Our apartment building is located next to several parks and a quiet residential neighbourhood where we like to walk with pets. Our apartment courtyard also has a private and secure dog run where pets can play off leash. Our apartment has multiple windows so it provides amazing view for your pets to look out and say hi to any animals passing by.

If your pet needs special dietary or medical attention please let us know ahead of time so that we can look into it and be prepared. I am aware of toxic plants and their effects to pets and there are none of them in my house. But for other specialized needs I am not very experienced to be honest, but we are eager to learn always!
A typical day
With dogs we would offer amazing walks in a quiet neighborhood area. If your dog likes to interact with other animals there are plenty or opportunities in the parks or the courtyard. We also run and bike so if your dog requires more than walking we are happy to provide that extra exercise! With cats, we have a laser pen that can aim to the sky, and so far all the cats can’t help but loving it. We are also big cuddlers with fluffy friends so as long as your pet loves company and cuddles, we would never leave them alone!
