Pet care experience
Loving your pet like family !
Since I was young, all my friends and family have known me as the person who is always greeting the dog first , someone who will befriend your dog in an instant and someone who is very passionate about caring for dogs. Since childhood, I always have had dogs in my life and would care for them myself by walking, grooming, feeding, socializing and spending quality time showing love for them. To spend even more time with dogs, I would pet sit in my teens and throughout my twenties for other friends and family as I was always trusted to create a loving, safe environment for all. I have looked after a variety of dog breeds from Golden Retrievers, Cockapoos, Beagles, German Shepards, Labradors, Duck Tollers and more as I really do believe my heart and attention to care for all dogs could leave me as a loving option to spend quality time with your furry family member. In the last couple of years I have grown a deep love for caring for cats as well, happily pet sitting for family and friends and have a home setting that would be calm, happy and welcoming for your loved cat.

Finn had an amazing stay with Erica! I was worried he wouldn’t want to leave! Communication was great, we got so many lovely pictures. Highly recommend!
Finn, our four year old Duck Toller, goes and gets his leash whenever he sees Erica arrive at the door. Erica is always on time and I swear Finn is smiling when they return from their walks. You’ll know your dog will be a happy one when around Erica.

I work part time at a local Elementary School from 8:45am-2:45pm Monday to Wednesday and can happily provide quality care and love before and after my work days and am wide open all day Thursday- Sundays :) *currently I am off for the summertime.*

I really do believe it is important to create safe and warm environments for every pets to feel as sense of home & comfort which is why I believe to create a safe and trusting environment starts with building a relationship with the owner and their pet! I would be happy to discuss what your pet and you need to feel a sense of peace & excitement when caring for your pet and am open for any pre discussion prep you'd like to ensure I have all the information & tools to best care for your loved furry friend!
A typical day
As every dog is unique, I feel like with activities and walks it really depends on the dogs & owners preferences out of being respectful and kind to them first and foremost. However I love making the quality time with the dog and/or cat special and catered to what works best for them so am happy once I have that information to make it special and memorable for the dog and/or cat I am caring for. I have a lovely large backyard ( *not fenced but I have a lovely long leash for the backyard for play and for the bathroom & would be outside with them to watch them and ensure they are happy & well) and a beautiful park less than 2 minutes away from my home so if the dog is comfortable and happy around others, I believe it is the perfect , dog-friendly spot to go for walks for any length of time that suits the dog in care. I always feel like at Wittys Park- all the dogs are always smiling and wagging their tails as it is such a happy place to be! In terms of activities, I love playing with the dogs in my care - so anything from fetch, cuddling on my couch, multiple walks a day ...whatever brings that dog joy and the owner comfort I am happy to be there and provide a joy-filled day for them.
