My schedule is very flexible. I currently work from home so I am able to be out and about with your furry friend for a good majority of the day.

We have just moved in to a ground floor ocean front apartment. While we don’t have a fenced yard - we are right on the beach with access to many trails along the water. Also in walking distance to Thetis Lake trails. All of our windows and doors are screened in with locks. So there is an extra level of security to ensure your pets safety.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or dietary restrictions or allergies. We are also a very furniture friendly home, so if you would prefer your pet to stay off the furniture and out of the bed, please let me know so I can accommodate. We try our best to keep your pets schedule and routine as close to it is at your home to ease the transition of their stay with us.

I live right on the ocean, so getting out for a run along the water in the day is part of my routine! If your dog is great off leash, we will go to the Colwood Creek Park or Thetis Lake for a game of fetch and to socialize with outer four legged friends. You are welcome to bring your pets favourite toys, but I do have a basket of bones, ropes, and balls that they are welcome to nose through and pick a favourite for their stay!

Note: boarding for small/medium dogs (and all cats) only right now. House sitting for larger animals available. I have over 18 years of pet experience, especially with larger breed dogs including Doberman, Mastiff, Pitbull and German Pointers. I am knowledgeable about animal behaviour and leash reactivity. I do have children (7&16) and we are all animal lovers. We will treat yours like another member of our family. I have a special love for senior doggies and rescues! We have no stairs in our home so it is a great spot for older pups not great with up and down. **Note: Pet owners will be responsible for any and all damages to our home during boarding. Please inform me if your pet has destructive tendencies, or anything we need to be aware of

Montana went above and beyond to make my anxious senior shiba feel safe and calm boarding for more than a week. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Montana took wonderful care of our cat while he stayed at her home. She was warm, approachable, communicative throughout the entire stay, and very accommodating. We really appreciated the updates and felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. We would happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.
Montana is a dog whisperer. My elderly Shiba Inu settled right in and had a great, restful visit.
Montana was great with Mocha, I highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future to watch my dog!
