About: Dog mom of Max since he was 8 weeks old. My parents used to breed miniature schnauzers, so it was really neat to be part of the process of birthing and puppy care ☺️ After an extended break from dog-sitting, I finally am settled in my own home. My partner and I recently moved to Nanaimo and are excited to explore! My partner and I work from home full-time, so our schedule is flexible for daily potty breaks, walks, outside playtime and snuggles. We also like visiting off-leash dog parks and the beach. Max is a very well loved pup! He is a member of the family, is allowed on the couch for a snuggle and sleeps at the foot of the bed. I love taking Max to off-leash dog parks and trails, so if that's appropriate for your dog, that's great too! I am happy to share lots of video and photos while your pup is in my care. I have an open-communication policy so if there is anything that concerns you, please ask!

About: Animals have been my passion and career for over 10 years. My background includes working in dog daycares, veterinary medicine, and animal control, giving me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a stay-at-home mom, I'm home throughout the day and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I've welcomed many dogs into my home over the years and treat every pet like family. I currently have one dog and three cats, so my only requirement is that visiting dogs are social and comfortable around other animals. I look forward to giving your pet a safe, loving home away from home! As a stay-at-home mom to one child, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day, ensuring your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Your pet will be treated like part of the family while in my care. As a stay-at-home mom, I am home most of the day and can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, medication administration if needed, and lots of attention. Dogs will have access to a safe, comfortable home environment and plenty of supervised interaction. I have one dog and three cats, so I only accept dogs that are social and comfortable around other animals. My goal is to make your pet feel relaxed, loved, and at home while you're away.

About: I grew up caring for three dogs of my own — two small breeds and one large dog — so I am comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels. I understand how important routine, exercise, and attention are for a pet’s well-being. In addition to my personal experience, I completed a canine training course where I learned how to better understand dog behavior, communication signals, and positive reinforcement techniques. I have experience helping dogs improve their obedience, learn basic commands, and even practice fun tricks using reward-based methods only. I am responsible, patient, and detail-oriented, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Since I have my own vehicle, I can easily commute and handle any necessary errands or emergencies. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and caring environment so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure I have enough time for walks, feeding, playtime, and attention. I am available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and from Monday to Thursday after 4:00 PM. However, I understand that every pet owner has different needs, and I am flexible whenever possible to accommodate specific schedules. I am organized, responsible, and committed to maintaining each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect their space, follow all care instructions carefully, and maintain the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I ensure doors are secure, monitor the pet closely during walks, and provide a calm, clean, and safe environment at all times. I treat every home and pet with the utmost respect and responsibility.

About: I worked at my local humane society back when I lived in Ontario where I was responsible for daily enclosure cleaning/maintenance as well as keeping an eye out for any unusual or concerning conditions. I handled the animals and made sure to give them some love while I could. It wasn’t my job to do that much, but I just love animals so much and that job brought me a lot of joy. Aside from that job, I’ve handled pets most of my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and more personally for 13 years I had a conure, and for about 7 I had a rabbit. Because of this, I’m very experienced with birds and rabbits especially! I am great with cats too, but my household does have one. She’s an old lady that sleeps mostly and if needed can easily be kept away from any other animals. At home I currently live with a cat who belongs to my sister, but I am her auntie and spend tons of time with her and look after her in ways such as helping with her inhaler, helping clip her nails, brushing, and so on. If my sister is away for any reason, she is fully under my care. Ideally I’d have your baby stay in my room with me if it works, but as a backup I do have a spare room that is pretty well empty with just a guest bed next to my room in my house, and because I live with a cat with Asthma, I try to keep all spaces (especially that room) scent free. I also have no problem staying at a client’s place for a few nights if we’ve established some comfortability and familiarity. I don’t have supplies or enclosures on my own, so all that would have to be provided by the owner. The only things I can provide currently without/additionally to the owner’s pet’s belongings are cat toys, treats, and food/water bowls.
