About: I’ve had pets in my home all of my life, but have 2 of my own pets currently - a 4.5 year old lab and a 3.5 year old cat. I’ve trained both my dog and cat, and have helped family members with training puppies in the past and currently. I’ve done drop in visits for many friends, family, and neighbours over the years. I have experience administering both oral and topical medications for pets, and have always paid attention to every small instruction provided by vets. Knowing how much my pets mean to me, I’m more than happy to follow and respect any pet owners preferences and instructions. I take the time to get to know each pet individually, as I know and respect that they all have different needs, preferences, and boundaries. I am available most mornings and evenings, and all day weekends. I’m quite flexible and will do what I can to make any appointment work! I respond quickly and am reliable once a time is set. I keep my pricing as low as is reasonable, as I want pet owners to be able to enjoy their lives with as little stress as possible! I have a black lab, who is 4.5 years old, as well as a 3.5 year old cat. Both are very friendly and outgoing animals, and warm up quickly to any new visitors. For visits to the pet owners home, any instructions will be followed closely. I am an honest, diligent person, and am more than happy to meet pet owners prior to taking on any job!

About: I am 58yrs young and I live with my 6 months old puppy PACO. I have owned dogs, cats, horse, ducks, chickens or birds all my life and lived on a farm until I was 18. I love talking with my pets like they are humans. I love cuddling also. I am very active, therefore able to walk or run with a dog who needs it. I have trails to walk and a fenced area if needed. My puppy Paco Bear is great with other pets and of course loves to play. I live in a trailer and dogs can go on couches. I make sure to wipe paws and fur before roaming if dog comes in from the rain. I work part-time on a casual on-call basis for the Ladysmith Post Office on only 4 hour shifts per day usually. I am available on weekends and weekdays. I have trails to walk and a fenced area if needed. My Puppy Paco loves to play. There is a huge field in front of the trailer for dogs to play and run. I am located far away from the main road. There is a farm house on my right (which is not too close) with a few animals (like goats, chickens) but her home and farm is fenced in and no other animals can get in. She owns a dog but is always inside fence.

About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.

About: Hi there! I’m 25 and a proud pet parent to one very cuddly cat. I’ve grown up around animals and have always been the go-to friend for dog and cat sitting, as spending time with pets truly brightens my day! I love hiking and being outdoors with furry companions, but I’m just as happy staying in for playtime and cuddles 🐾 I tailor every walk and visit to each pet’s needs, whether that means a calm neighbourhood stroll, trail adventure, or extra playtime at home. I have experience with senior pets, foster dogs, larger breeds who pull, and dogs who can be a bit reactive or need extra patience. I’m currently attending university, so while I stay as flexible as possible, bookings will need to fit around my daytime classes. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority! While I’m not available all day for house sitting during school days, I’m happy to fit in walks, drop-in visits, and even last-minute bookings when my schedule allows. “Diana was friendly and flexible, willing to take Earl at short notice. The facility seems nice. She sent a number of photos and two quick videos of him. She took him for a walk, and played with him. Unfortunately, Earl was unable to relax while he was there. That, as well as the distance from our home, means that we won't be using Diana's services again. It just wasn't a good fit for us, but I have no concerns about Diana's capability.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. We had Golden Retrievers and a Shepard growing up and now I have my own fur baby who is a Chocolate Lab named Arthur. I’ve worked in the pet industry for many years from retail, assisting in a Vet clinic and a Sales Rep for a pet product company. I have a lot of free weekends and what better way to spend that extra time than to spend it with dogs! Please keep in mind I do have a dog that would also be in the home so your dog must be okay with other dogs. I believe in a healthy balance of exercise and down time. I will typically do 1-2 walks a day, play in the back yard and down time with lots of cuddles. I would also like to mention, that If you have a shy or senior dog that likes a calm environment then this is your place!

About: Always grown up with massive dogs 100lbs or more so not stranger to big dogs. Provide a confident and calm environment for dogs as well as dealt with dogs that are very skiddish. I work out of town for 2 weeks at a time then have 2 weeks off, so plenty of time when home to give all dogs the full attention they need and want ! Lots of tummy rubs and scratches well Fed and hydrated walked everyday minimum of 30 minutes twice a day. Play time in the back yard and play dates with fellow dogs

I’m able to crate dogs if needed, depending on their routine, to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while in my care.
