“Was a pleasure to meet Lindsey today. She took excellent care of my two Westies. They enjoyed their day with her kids and family pets. It was definitely a fun day for them. Would highly recommend Lindsey, and will definitely arrange another booking in the future.”

“Amy has been lovely to connect with. My dog is quite introverted and I was a bit nervous at first but Amy was able to put things at ease. My dog connected with her dogs quite well and it was lovely to see how well they’ve connected. I’ll be asking Amy for her help with dog day care and boarding more this summer for sure. If you’re considering having Amy help your dog, I think your dog would be in good hands.”

“Haley and Mark gave Patches plenty of attention and exercise, which is very much what makes Patches happy. I was sent many pictures of Patches on her walks, with Nova (their dog), relaxing on her bed and sniffing around the yard. Haley and Mark were great!!”

“Marcy sent lots of videos and pictures during an overnight stay which was great to see our dogs interacting and having fun with other dogs. They had a great time and Marcy clearly had a passion for dogs of all kinds. She has a great location and nice space set up as well. Thanks so much Marcy!”

“Lauren and Andy and their dog Zeus were very welcoming to my dog Robby. They were caring and diligent and very flexible. I would certainly recommend them to anyone, and look forward to using their services again.”

“Jessica was able to watch Fat Boi on short notice. She was amazing for keeping us posted while we traveled and his being so well taken care of made the trip less stressful. Would highly recommend.”

“Maggie was with Terry for a week and I usually worry because she is anxious around new people and being left but what a time she had! She seemed like she didn’t want to come home when I went to pick her up. She had lots of walks and off leash park time and playing in the yard; lots of cuddle time it seems. She even took to Jim, Terry’s husband right away- not one bark. It was an awesome experience for both of us. Thank you Terry for taking such great care of our Maggie ❤️ we’ll be back soon!”

“My dog Odis was well taken care of. When we came back after 2 weeks he was very happy and healthy. He became part of their family and fit in very well. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him.”

“My boys had their first full day with Kelly & Natalie today. Natalie gave them a really nice introduction to their home and then was great about updating me throughout the day with pictures to let me know that they were doing well. I felt immediately comfortable with Natalie and it’s easy to see that my dogs do as well. I’m feeling really good about leaving them for a longer period of time when we go traveling!”

“Clover had the best time while we were away for 10 days. Montana took her on lots of off leash hikes, swimming in the river, and sent us photo and video updates everyday. Clover and Rune got along really well and looked like best buds playing chase. This was the perfect situation for our pup and we couldn't be happier. Will definitely be looking to have Clover stay with Montana again.”

“I could not have asked for a better dog-sitter for my sweet Ellie. Tyler was very communicative and trustworthy from the very beginning, and bonded with Ellie right away. He sent updates and photos very regularly, and was incredibly responsive to Ellie’s needs and personality. He even taught her a new trick! I had no doubt that she was happy and comfortable and very well cared for the entire time I was away. I will definitely be asking Tyler to dog-sit again !”

“Emma was amazing in watching our dog Junebug! Not only did she make sure our dog was fed and taken care of, but she went the extra mile! She took Junebug to the dog park on a regular basis, sent pictures and updates regularly. I can tell my dog was super comfortable with her and her family, and I would highly recommend her to any dog owner looking for a temporary home for your pet while you travel.”

“Tiffany was great, she looked after Cherry for a day while we were visiting. She was communicative, on time, and Cherry came back to us sleepy from all the fun playtime :) Thanks so much Tiffany!”

“We had a wonderful experience leaving our dogs with Karuna for the week! She was incredibly sweet, friendly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we dropped them off at her home. Her apartment is thoughtfully set up for pets and it was clear they were in a safe and caring environment. She did a great job managing our dogs’ medications, communicated with us throughout their stay and sent lots of photos and updates. We especially loved seeing pictures of them out on regular walks, which gave us peace of mind that they were getting plenty of exercise and attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!”

“Sunny & Cole stayed with Susan & Robin for 9 nights. We were nervous finding new sitters for them as they haven’t stayed with anyone in a while. We were thrilled with everything. They were so happy when we picked them up it was clear they were very well cared for and loved. We will 100% use Susan and Robin again they are wonderful people and took the best care of our puppers:)”
About: Animals have been my passion and career for over 10 years. My background includes working in dog daycares, veterinary medicine, and animal control, giving me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a stay-at-home mom, I'm home throughout the day and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I've welcomed many dogs into my home over the years and treat every pet like family. I currently have one dog and three cats, so my only requirement is that visiting dogs are social and comfortable around other animals. I look forward to giving your pet a safe, loving home away from home! As a stay-at-home mom to one child, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day, ensuring your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Your pet will be treated like part of the family while in my care. As a stay-at-home mom, I am home most of the day and can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, medication administration if needed, and lots of attention. Dogs will have access to a safe, comfortable home environment and plenty of supervised interaction. I have one dog and three cats, so I only accept dogs that are social and comfortable around other animals. My goal is to make your pet feel relaxed, loved, and at home while you're away.
“Marcel with his wife, have been amazing in caring for Joey. I get regular updates and photos that show Joey enjoying the ‘good life’ in their home. I was impressed with their meticulously cared for home complete with a sun shaded dog run. I completely trust their knowledge and experience leaving Joey in their care.”

“I am so happy to have found this lovely couple who obviously care for dogs and cats. My small dog really enjoyed her time and came home exhausted but happy. Thanks so much for caring so nicely for her. Made my time away so much more enjoyable”

We knew our Chips was safe and well cared for with Diana so we could leave him over night without worry to go out of town - she sent us a picture of him all snuggled in so we knew he was safe and secure and not anxious even though he is a little anxious all the time :)

Tiffany was absolutely amazing! She accepted a rather long visit on very short notice and was so kind, understanding, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Finley had such a great time with her and came back happy and comfortable. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Wow….Jadyn is by far the best puppy sitter we have ever had. She treated our guy like her own and he was spoiled with hikes and walks almost daily….he is probably wishing he could go back! We are so grateful and were so comfortable leaving Opie in her care. She made things easy with top notch communication as well as the daily photos opportunities. Thanks Jadyn…..we will be calling you again!

Our 11 year old, Jinx, boarded with Joanne shortly after losing her bonded brother. Within 24hrs, she was relaxed and having fun with her new routine. Joanne is clearly fabulous with dogs and we expect Jinx will 'go on vacation' many more times. Thank you Joanne! 💕

My dog Penny had an amazing stay with Kim! I received lots of updates to let me know how my dog was doing and Penny thrived in such a loving and warm environment. I will 1000% be booking Kim again for my next trip- it is so great to have such peace of mind while away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
