Hi! My name is Jaydyn!
I have a passion for both the outdoors and furry friends! I have grown up around animals my entire life, from horses, bunnies, dogs and now a cat. My family has always adopted bullmastiffs so I am very comfortable around large breeds. But we also rescued a shih tzu and my love for small breeds developed quickly. I moved out my home in Alberta and have missed the comfort of my dogs. Finding rover has been an incredible way to help fill that hole in my heart! I have experience with puppies, senior dogos, off and on leash pups and more. I’d love to meet you and your pets, please reach out with any questions :)

We recently moved and had to leave a fabulous dog sitter who was like family. We are so grateful to have found Jaydyn to fill that place for our family. We made a hard decision to leave our pups when two of them needed some special care and Jaydyn did a fantastic job caring for them. Their care was more complex than usual but her confidence in her ability to care for them put us more at ease. We are happy to feel we have found a great sitter for our pups and will definitely be using her again!

Jaydyn has been great with our somewhat problematic dog. She entertained my neuroses to get pepper comfortable, and Pepper really took to her. House and dog were happy when we got back ! Though I think Pepper probably misses her !

Schedule
I am currently a student at Vancouver Island University, pursuing a bachelors degree in psychology and management. I am taking a few classes online and a few in person, I am available at some point almost every day!

I have adopted a cat! Who is curious although cautious around dogs. I am able to host pets at my home as long as they are kind to cats! Or stay over in your home while you are away as I have a roommate whom I share the kitty responsibilities with :) I am able take dogs out for walks or play dates!
A typical day
During my visits or walks with pets I would ask the owner what the dogs favourite is! We could go to the beach for a swim, or the dog park for some social time!

- For me, I really think it’s important to know the dogs behaviours and attitudes towards other dogs. When running into other pets I’d like to be prepared going into the situation. When caring for your pet I love to know what a typical “day in the life” is, this helps me make sure I care for them the best and they stay comfortable in their routine while their family is away.
