“Amy has taken excellent care of Arlo. He returned a very happy dog, because he received good attention from both Amy and her daughter. He was out at the dog park, which he loved!”

“Marcy was the best! Not only did she watch our Moose but she also gave him all the love he could ask for! Marcy kept us up to date on their adventures and made sure to send over lots of pictures. We will definitely be dropping moose off with Marcy again! Thanks again!”

“Maggie was with Terry for a week and I usually worry because she is anxious around new people and being left but what a time she had! She seemed like she didn’t want to come home when I went to pick her up. She had lots of walks and off leash park time and playing in the yard; lots of cuddle time it seems. She even took to Jim, Terry’s husband right away- not one bark. It was an awesome experience for both of us. Thank you Terry for taking such great care of our Maggie ❤️ we’ll be back soon!”

“As always, Lauren is amazing with Milanesa. She is so happy staying with her and her family. Milanesa has so much fun and feels very loved every time she stays with Lauren. We will definitely repeat next time.”

“Emma was amazing in watching our dog Junebug! Not only did she make sure our dog was fed and taken care of, but she went the extra mile! She took Junebug to the dog park on a regular basis, sent pictures and updates regularly. I can tell my dog was super comfortable with her and her family, and I would highly recommend her to any dog owner looking for a temporary home for your pet while you travel.”

“Nicole was super nice and kind! Mila was very well taken care of and came back home happy and relaxed. Nicole sent us pictures and kept us updated every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re very happy with the care Mila received and would definitely recommend Nicole! ❤️”

“Vinny is very attached to me and it’s difficult sometimes to leave him, but I can tell he absolutely loved staying with Susan and Robin. He was very comfortable and relaxed when I picked him up. I 100% recommend booking with them if you need a sitter. Amazing people with amazing energy!”

“Montana is a great pup sitter!! She is extremely detail oriented and I could tell she truly cared about my dogs' safety and happiness. Her dog Rune is such a sweetheart. My dog Cinnamon and her got along splendidly. Cinnamon thoroughly loved their large fenced yard, so much so that she ended up rolling around in their garden. Montana even washed Cinnamon's dirty harness for me!! I definitely recommend Montana!!”

“Tyler looked after Tori so well, and I am incredibly grateful! He was so kind throughout the whole time and gave Tori his full attention, which made me feel completely at ease. If I ever need a dog sitter again, I will absolutely choose Tyler without a doubt. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Tori!”

“I'm soo happy that Ariel was able to watch my dog Cinnamon for a few days on pretty short notice. He kept me up to date on how it was going and provided pictures. Ariel also let me know that he was concerned that she wasn't eating much, but I said not to worry (it was hot those days and she isn't the biggest eater anyways). He has a lovely backyard to run and play!! Thank you 😊”

“Amazing!!!! I could tell Charlie felt so welcomed and loved for his stay. I will definitely leave Charlie with Kelly and Natalie again. In fact he’s already booked!”

“Our 11 year old, Jinx, boarded with Joanne shortly after losing her bonded brother. Within 24hrs, she was relaxed and having fun with her new routine. Joanne is clearly fabulous with dogs and we expect Jinx will 'go on vacation' many more times. Thank you Joanne! 💕”

“My dog Odis was well taken care of. When we came back after 2 weeks he was very happy and healthy. He became part of their family and fit in very well. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him.”

“Yuet continues to be amazing every time she sits for me. I think the highest praise I can provide is the fact that my dog Odin gets super excited when he realizes he is going to stay with Yuet.”

“Coraline and Valentin were wonderful! Friendly, flexible, compassionate, and obviously Robby was very comfortable with them. Thank you! Hopefully we'll see you again!”

“Lily loved spending the day with Rebecca and her two pups! Rebecca asked all the questions and sent me updates through the day and was super flexible with my booking. I would book with Rebecca again!”

“Jessica was great with Kira! I felt confident in leaving her there, she was very quick in responding and Kira was happy after a couple of days with Jessica. Its great she has a fenced yard where dogs can roam around safely.”

“This was our second booking with Janelle and we are so grateful for her help and care with our 2 cats. Janelle came in the evening the day we left, and twice the next day in the morning and the evening. It's such a relief to know there is someone close by who knows how to play and approach cats and can check in on them for their basic needs and some social visits and pets ☺️ Janelle also takes amazing photos and provides such a nice update for each visit which really helps me feel so much more at ease when we need to spend the night away. Thank you again Janelle for all your care and attention!! ☺️💛🐾”

“I arrived home to a happy kitty, thanks to Sarah. She sent lots of photos while a was away, cared for my cat as instructed, and got along super well with him. I already have her booked again!”

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for family and friends since my teen years. I regularly care for my sisters Siberian Huskies, so I'm familiar with high energy pets! I also have an elderly cat of my own that I love dearly who I've had her entire life. I am currently only working a few side-hustles so my schedule is very flexible to meet your pet care needs. Let me know your pets regular schedule and my aim will be to keep things as consistent as I can for their comfort. My goal is to keep your pets on their regular schedule while you are away so that they are as comfortable as possible. I am happy to provide regular updates and photos to keep you updated on how they are doing during my stay!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and have shared my life with many different personalities over the years, from playful and affectionate to shy, independent, and everything in between. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each cat as an individual and adapting to what makes them feel most comfortable. I understand that cats communicate in their own unique ways, and I’m usually able to tell when they’d like to play, when they want affection, and when they’d simply prefer some quiet space. I’m patient with timid cats, playful with energetic ones, and always respectful of their boundaries. More recently, I also helped care for two rescued kittens on a farm, watching them grow into confident, friendly, and independent cats. My goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away by keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’ll happily follow your care instructions and keep you updated with messages and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your feline family member is in caring hands.

“Sara was so great with my cat, he warmed up to her so quickly! Sara was also super communicative and accommodating for my boy's needs and medication. will 100% book again if need be :)”

“Kelly was terrific and took very good care of our kitties. She went above and beyond when our power went out while we were away. She also kept in touch with us during the entire duration so we knew everything was good at home.”
“Jessica was so great with our senior dog, really showed her good attention and took her for walks following her cues for limitations. We really appreciate her being available last minute, asking so many questions to provide the best care and really being professional and attentive. Would recommend 100%! Thanks Jessica!!”

About: I had cats throughout my childhood, particularly Siamese. I didn’t have a cat for most of my adult life because I was travelling so much and that’s just not fair on a cat. The moment we settled into becoming homeowners, we got a cat! Now are family is complete 🥹

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and truly understand their unique personalities and needs — from playful and social to independent and reserved. I’m comfortable caring for cats of all ages and temperaments and always make sure they feel safe, respected, and cared for in their own space. I’m available for drop-in visits to provide feeding, litter box care, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention while you’re away.

“Sarah is amazing, We had to leave last minute and she gladly accepted a full work week of check ins 2x a day. And was able to fit us in around her busy schedule, her love for animals really shows. our kitties warmed up to her very fast, will definitely be our new go to pet sitter 😊”

“Thank you so much for taking care of Fanta. We had an unexpected family emergency to take care of on the mainland and knowing Fanta was in good hands took so much stress off of us.”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me I also completed my 208-hour practicum with the BC SPCA, where I cared for cats with a wide range of personalities and needs, learning about their behaviour, administering medication, and helping them prepare for their forever homes. I also have my own two-year-old cat, Cedar, who is my whole world. He’s been my adventure buddy on hikes, road trips, and even flights—he’s truly attached to my hip! I understand how much your cat means to you because I feel the same way about Cedar. I’ll care for your cat with the same patience, love, and attention that I give my own.
About: I have had pets my entire life: a German Shepard Husky growing up, and now I have a cat that I adopted from the SPCA (my second). I love pets and they love me. I also know the difficulty that comes with having to travel and leaving your pet and often your house in the care of another person. I am respectful, responsible, kind and considerate when it comes to animals and other peoples' homes. I currently am available any day for pet sitting, and am willing to stay overnight to also take care of your house and treat your pet and house with the same care that I take with my cat and my house. Unfortunately I do not have a fenced yard so cannot have pets in my house. I am happy to care for your pet in your home whether it means dropping by to feed and clean up and spend some quality time with them, or staying over night if needed if you are going on a longer trip.
“Jimena Was awesome, she was excellent at keeping in touch and keeping us up to date with what was happening with the boys (our two cats) we never had to worry and felt really at ease and reassured. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thank you so much Jimena!”

About: Cats aren’t just pets—they’re unique personalities, and I make sure each one is cared for in a way that respects their individual comfort level, routine, and boundaries. I have experience caring for both social, affectionate cats and more independent or shy cats who need patience and a calm approach. I understand that earning a cat’s trust takes time, and I always let them set the pace for interaction. I’m attentive to the details that matter most in cat care—clean litter boxes, consistent feeding schedules, fresh water, and maintaining their familiar environment so they feel safe while their owner is away. I also pay close attention to behaviour and health changes, so anything unusual is quickly noticed. For more interactive cats, I provide enrichment through play, stimulation, and companionship. For more reserved cats, I focus on quiet presence and stress-free care. Pet parents can also expect reliable communication, daily updates, and photos so they can feel confident their cat is comfortable and well looked after. Most importantly, I treat every cat with patience, respect, and care—never rushing trust, always prioritizing their comfort.

“We were ultimately satisfied with the care Jenn and Adam provided for my two pups!! My first time using rover and dropping my dogs off so I was very nervous but they made the experience easily 12/10!! My dogs can be anxious and hard to warm up to new people, but they warmed up right away to them! They were so caring, respectful and understanding to our needs! “We all liked Courtenay right off the bat, especially Phoebe, and we felt very comfortable leaving Phoebe with her. We tried a two-hour sample stay first and that went very well so the full days that we needed puppy day-care were an easy transition. Courtenay made sure Phoebe was comfortable and busy so she didn’t have time to miss us, and her whole family was also involved so our little girl had a great time. We will definitely leave Phoebe with Courtenay again when needed ✨ thanks Courtenay and fam!”

“Kelly and Natalie were exceptional.... I'm sure most people would have given me the eye roll as I spilled out the details of how Lukas does this and how to do that with Lukas.... like a new mom leaving her baby for the first time... but Kelly and Natalie patiently listened and paid close attention.... I left feeling absolutely confident that Lukas was in good hands!! To top it all off.... he had an AMAZING time and came home happy and tired from playing with his new best friends. He loved going on his big outdoor adventure walk.... and I loved getting the pictures and video. I would highly highly recommend Kelly and Natalie. They are officially our go to when Lukas needs daycare! I can't say enough about how happy I was. Thank you!!”

“Karuna was fantastic. She provided updates throughout the day, which made me feel very comfortable leaving my pups in her care. They came home tired and happy, clearly well exercised. I really appreciated the photos she shared and would highly recommend her.”

About: I have had the pleasure of being apart of 3 different puppies lives, helping out with my housemates huskies, bernadoodles, and labs and have taken an active role while they grew up. Whenever their owners were away, I was always there to step in and watch over them. As a firefighter for the city of Nanaimo, my schedule is quite flexible. My days off rotate weekly and I can be available to walk or look after your pups almost any given day of the week. I'm naturally patient and observant. Every dog is an individual, and I take the time to learn their unique personality, energy levels, and any quirks they might have. Whether your dog is a high-energy adventurer who needs to burn off steam or a more reserved companion who prefers a leisurely stroll, I adapt my approach to suit them. This also means I'm constantly aware of their body language and surroundings, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. I understand the importance of sticking to a routine, and you'll always be informed about our walks, from pick-up to drop-off, and how your dog enjoyed their time. I treat every dog as if they were my own, prioritizing their well-being above all else. I incorporate playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of positive reinforcement into our outings. From navigating busy streets safely to exploring local trails, I ensure your dog gets the exercise and engagement they need to be happy and healthy.

About: My partner and I travel often so we aren't ready for a dog of our own. But we love to dog sit for our friends. We've taken care of small and big dogs from Pomeranians to St. Bernese. My family dog growing up was a border collie. He joined us as a puppy when I was 11 years old, so caring for dogs, especially high energy breeds, is second nature. I work from home so I can keep a close eye on your dogs needs. It also means I have a flexible schedule for pick up and drop offs. At least two walks a day and I let them outside whenever they want so they can enjoy the fenced back yard. In the spring and summer I like to bring my laptop outside and join them.
“Thank you so much, Sara! It was such a pleasure meeting you and trusting you with our big dog while we were away. Milo always looked very happy (via the Ring cam) to see you when you stopped by for his two-walks-a-day while we were away. It was our first time leaving him since he was a puppy. You were dependable, kind and firm. We would absolutely book your services again and highly recommend you. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life — from cats and dogs to a variety of farm animals — and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I truly believe dogs are part of the family and deserve to be treated with the same love, respect, and attention as any family member. I’m very active and make sure the dogs in my care get plenty of exercise and enrichment. We go on walks at least twice a day, with longer off-leash adventures on the weekends (when appropriate and safe). Because I work from home, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and lots of attention throughout the day. I’m also happy to drop in for potty breaks if you’re within a reasonable driving distance. Growing up on a farm gave me hands-on experience with all kinds of animals, including keeping chickens on and off over the years. I’m comfortable, confident, and attentive with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I share my home with two very friendly, well-socialized dogs. One is a large senior Lab who spends most of his day happily snoozing, and the other is a young Dachshund who would love a playmate but is just as content relaxing if that’s more your dog’s style. Both dogs are neutered, healthy and kept up to date on vaccinations. Because of this, I do require that visiting dogs are comfortable around other dogs. I have fostered puppies over the years and am comfortable with puppy care as well as administering medication for any health issues. Your pup will be welcomed into our home like one of our own — with love, structure, exercise, and plenty of cozy downtime. 🐾 My days are structured but flexible since I work from home. I’m able to let dogs out in our secure fenced yard for potty breaks as needed throughout the day and always make time for at least one dedicated walk during the workday. After work, we head out for a longer walk to burn off energy and enjoy some fresh air. Between walks, there’s plenty of supervision, companionship, and relaxation time so your pup feels comfortable, cared for, and part of the family all day long. 🐾 Your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving home with lots of attention and supervision throughout the day. I do have two friendly, well-socialized dogs at home — a laid-back senior Lab and a young Dachshund — so visiting pups must be comfortable around other dogs. We tailor walks to each dog’s comfort level and training, offering on-leash or off-leash outings when appropriate and safe. At night, my dogs typically sleep with me, and there’s plenty of room for extra snuggles if your pup enjoys that too. If you prefer your dog to be crated or follow a specific nighttime routine, I’m happy to stick to your instructions to keep their routine consistent. 🐾
“Lindsey was absutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous finding someone to come and care for my dogs while i was at work. Lindsey did such an amazing job communicating with me and coming by for a quick meet & greet before coming to take the dogs on the walks for the first time. She kept me updated with photos from the walks and some great notes of how it went! If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves animals and will care for them like her own Lindsey is your girl! Tucker & Boba say thank you! 🐾”

“Simone is so awesome! She goes above and beyond. I'm really grateful for her help with my Aussie doodle, Frank. She took him on 2 walks a day and always to the off leash park, driving him there in her car. I felt really confident going away knowing that Simone was there feeding my animals and walking the dog, paying attention to the cat whether he was in or out! Thank you so much Simone!!”

“We had an amazing experience with Angela! She walked our two big, somewhat challenging dogs six times and did a fantastic job every single visit. Her communication was excellent, she was reliable, and she handled our dogs with confidence and care. We’ll definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled dog walker. Thanks, Angela!”

“Leanne was so wonderful! My pup felt safe and nurtured, and got lots of exercise in beautiful forest and beach areas. She was so great with communicating and sending photos. I knew what my boy was up to throughout the day. Highly recommend her as a sitter and your temporary dog mom while you’re away. So grateful to have her in our lives!”

About: I've grown up with animals my entire life, from horses to hamsters and I could never live in a house without something furry and cuddly to love. When I was in high school I opted to find my own placement for work experience rather than the schools list as I really wanted to work in a reptile house. It was fantastic and I made great friends with a King snake who I named Karl. I work mainly nights on a pub so have my days free to walk as many pooches as I can. I have my own four legged friend who is in desperate need of another furry buddy so if yours is as playful as she is they will have the best time. We are also available for boarding for one, child friendly pooch at a time as we have a very confident toddler who loves doggy cuddles! I work from home so the pups will have constant access to the back yard. I tend to do a quick walk around the block in the morning to start the day and a really good walk in the afternoon, usually down to the dam or up to Mount Benson. I care for your pets as if they were my own. Both my partner and myself grew up surrounded by animals and consider ourselves a family of 5. The dogs take just as much of a priority as we do. When we go walking, it’s as a 5; camping, as a 5. You get the picture.

“Millie loved staying with Jody and the fur gang! Jody took such loving care and they had loads of fun! We got videos of walks and play and hangout time. We felt very assured that Millie was in great loving care with Jody!”

“Jessica was great with Kira! I felt confident in leaving her there, she was very quick in responding and Kira was happy after a couple of days with Jessica. Its great she has a fenced yard where dogs can roam around safely.”

“We had a wonderful experience leaving our dogs with Karuna for the week! She was incredibly sweet, friendly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we dropped them off at her home. Her apartment is thoughtfully set up for pets and it was clear they were in a safe and caring environment. She did a great job managing our dogs’ medications, communicated with us throughout their stay and sent lots of photos and updates. We especially loved seeing pictures of them out on regular walks, which gave us peace of mind that they were getting plenty of exercise and attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!”

“A big shout out to Sylvie-Ann and Stephane for the wonderful care of Huxley. Huxley has a few little issues and they made sure he was comfortable and happy. Their little Yorkshire Lilou (4lbs) and my 95lb Pitty cross enjoyed each other’s company. Lol. Thank you so much for taking care and hope to see you soon.”
