I grew up with both cats and dogs and have spent my life caring for my own pets as well as those of friends and family. Highly recommend Hilda! She is knowledgeable, experienced, and very caring. Hilda was very flexible, professional, and communicative, and really took time to understand our picky pup before and during the stay! We had a unique situation and moved houses between booking and the stay, and Hilda was extremely understanding. Our house was left clean, and our pup was very happy! Would love to book again!
We were so lucky to have found Hilda! During our initial meeting, I could tell that she is the perfect balance of kindness and leadership, which our golden retriever definitively needs. As an experienced dog walker, she easily handled his behavioural quirks. She gave us daily updates and pictures and was prompt with all communication. Our house and dog were in good hands.

Schedule
I carefully plan my work commitments to ensure dogs in my care receive consistent walks, potty breaks and play time. I am committed to maintaining a routine that support each dog’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing. I take the dog out before and after my work shifts. I work 8-4 Monday-Friday. I’m a former professional dog walker from Vancouver. I have experience with a wide range of dogs, including reactive dogs, young, senior or super social. I use positive reinforcement methods to support calm and confident behaviour. In addition to walks and potty breaks, I prioritize playtime, enrichment, and affection so dogs feel secure and well cared for. I am also DogSafe® Certified.
