About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.

About: I've grown up with animals my entire life, from horses to hamsters and I could never live in a house without something furry and cuddly to love. When I was in high school I opted to find my own placement for work experience rather than the schools list as I really wanted to work in a reptile house. It was fantastic and I made great friends with a King snake who I named Karl. I work mainly nights on a pub so have my days free to walk as many pooches as I can. I have my own four legged friend who is in desperate need of another furry buddy so if yours is as playful as she is they will have the best time. We are also available for boarding for one, child friendly pooch at a time as we have a very confident toddler who loves doggy cuddles! I work from home so the pups will have constant access to the back yard. I tend to do a quick walk around the block in the morning to start the day and a really good walk in the afternoon, usually down to the dam or up to Mount Benson. I care for your pets as if they were my own. Both my partner and myself grew up surrounded by animals and consider ourselves a family of 5. The dogs take just as much of a priority as we do. When we go walking, it’s as a 5; camping, as a 5. You get the picture.

Through my work on the farm, with the CatNap Society and our own household pets, I have developed a calm, compassionate approach—especially with dogs, cats, horses, shy animals, and senior pets who benefit from gentle handling and quiet companionship. What sets us apart is a lifetime of hands-on training experience, a deep respect for animals, and a calm, confident presence that helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for in their own home. Our 24-hour house sitting rate includes potty breaks and playtime. Walks are available at an additional charge per 30 minutes. As a team we can be flexible with our time. I’m self-employed with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care. With my kids grown and out of the house, I can devote extra time, attention, and love to caring for pets whenever needed. Phia is a 20 year old adult who is very responsible with her own pet care and works mostly evenings (typically between 4pm-10pm). When caring for pets in their own home, I keep their routines consistent so they feel safe and comfortable. About: I worked at my local humane society back when I lived in Ontario where I was responsible for daily enclosure cleaning/maintenance as well as keeping an eye out for any unusual or concerning conditions. I handled the animals and made sure to give them some love while I could. It wasn’t my job to do that much, but I just love animals so much and that job brought me a lot of joy. Aside from that job, I’ve handled pets most of my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and more personally for 13 years I had a conure, and for about 7 I had a rabbit. Because of this, I’m very experienced with birds and rabbits especially! I am great with cats too, but my household does have one. She’s an old lady that sleeps mostly and if needed can easily be kept away from any other animals. At home I currently live with a cat who belongs to my sister, but I am her auntie and spend tons of time with her and look after her in ways such as helping with her inhaler, helping clip her nails, brushing, and so on. If my sister is away for any reason, she is fully under my care. Ideally I’d have your baby stay in my room with me if it works, but as a backup I do have a spare room that is pretty well empty with just a guest bed next to my room in my house, and because I live with a cat with Asthma, I try to keep all spaces (especially that room) scent free. I also have no problem staying at a client’s place for a few nights if we’ve established some comfortability and familiarity. I don’t have supplies or enclosures on my own, so all that would have to be provided by the owner. The only things I can provide currently without/additionally to the owner’s pet’s belongings are cat toys, treats, and food/water bowls.
