About: Lived on a farm, took care of a variety of pets from a young age. Cats, dogs, horses, pigs, chickens, etc. Previous rescue foster for dogs from puppy to senior care through BARS Animal rescue in Alberta. Have my own 6 year old rescue cat Puss Puss whom I recently built a catio for. Just finished doing 13 years in Healthcare, 8 of which were in EMS. Now semi-retired looking for opportunities to care for your fur babies :) Pretty open at the moment. Have reliable transportation to Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs Errington and Nanaimo. Can do mornings, afternoons, early evenings and weekends. For sitting, walks, car rides you name it. My beloved Puss Puss in an indoor kitty, however I built a catio for her so she can safely go outside. I won't be able to board pets, but will happily come to your home if you're going on vacation or need daily feeding and play time with your pets.

About: Hey! I’m a Veterinary Assistant with 4 years of experience working in clinic. This has taught me many valuable skills including post surgical / wound care, administration of various medications, dietary needs, and many other pet caring skills. I also have spent a great deal of time caring for my own elderly doggy who recently passed from cancer. This in conjunction with my training has given me a great deal of experience working with high need pets who require complicated care. I’ve also done some casual cat and dog sitting for family, friends, and coworkers. Since my own doggie passed I have been missing my pet time and thought this would be the perfect way to get my fix! :) This September I’ll be going into full time school, as a student I will need to be on the VIU campus for 2-8 hours daily on weekdays. I’ll be available for pet care before and after class, and all day on weekends. :) As someone who has worked with pets of all kinds with varying medical and physical needs you can rest assured that I will have both the skills and knowledge to give your pet the absolute best care!

About: Mature and reliable pet care at your home or my home. Large fenced yard - daily walks and lots of cuddles. Have cared for various dogs and other pets for over 30 years. I’m currently working from home so am available to care for and walk your pet and can either care for them in your home or in my home. I have two friendly dogs who are used to sharing. I have a fenced yard and large house to care for your fur baby. If you require dog walking or care in your own home I can accommodate your preferences.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child. As soon as I moved out to Canada, I got my own dog. My kids grew up with all kinds of animals in the house, the animals helped make my house a home. I’ve looked after friends and family pets most of my life and occasionally got paid for it. I took semi retirement early to enjoy life more and work less. I don’t consider caring for a pet a job. I work less the 30 hrs a week so lots of time to care for your pets in your home Lots of exercise, stick to the routine already set up by the owner. Lots of patience as the animal gets to know me and plenty of cuddles along the way. I have experience with seizures and epilepsy

About: I’m a past pet owner. I've recently looked after my sisters two small dogs for long weekends or a week at a time in BC while they were away. I’ve even looked after a relatives house, 2 Great Danes, 1 med sized dog and a few cats for a couple weeks when I was a kid with my elderly grandmother. Big responsibility! I’ve also looked after a neighbours cat for a couple weeks twice a day for feeds, daily cat litter cleaning, and music turned on and off with cuddle time. I’m bondable! I’ve volunteered and work for police forces over the years so no record etc. I believe animals have souls and need love and to be cared for. I’m willing to go to your home and water, feed and take your fur baby out for bathroom breaks and a cuddle. This will take a load off your mind as well as physically for your fur babies. I may not have years of getting paid and labelled as “professional” but I’m experienced when loving animals and using common sense to look after them and your home. Any questions, just ask. Cheers. I am a mortgage broker and can work from home. This gives me the flexibility to be with your pets mostly around the clock. Taking pets for walks and out door breaks when required. I will obliviously, learn and note what is needed as per the owner of the pet. I will make sure the pet feels loved and not alone while the owner is away. I will look after the residents as well. Pets are fed and watered in a timely manner and working with the owners schedule as required.

She was punctual on her visits and followed my instructions to the letter with feeding times, fresh water changes and litter box cleaning. She played with Lucy and kept her company twice a day which I was so grateful for. Rhaya went out of her way to ensure Lucy was safe, healthy and entertained so as to not feel lonely. She was quick to send photos and updates to ease my mind and always briefed me daily on how she was doing ie.feeding, bathroom and her overall moods. About: I have professional and personal experience with dogs, working in a professional setting with up to roughly 100 dogs daily (to many...please don't hire me to look after that many) as well as working with strays and rescues out of the country... Just lots of pet experience all around. I am professionally trained in dog and cat behavior, and studied wildlife biology. Not just a dog lover, I can handle all animals well, including exotics:). I am open for over night or a few hours or days. Any time is a good time. I can be flexible for whatever works I pay attention to the animal's behavior and needs rather than wants. Every dog is a new personality and they shouldn't all be handled the same way.
