About: As a mother-daughter duo, we genuinely love dogs and spending time outdoors. We’re often out on peaceful nature walks, so it’s a joy to bring some furry friends along for exercise, fresh air, and extra attention. Your pup will be treated with care, patience, and plenty of love. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy being available to support people with their pets, whether it’s during work hours, weekends, or while they’re away. I’m dependable, communicative, and happy to adapt to different needs or routines. My priority is always to make pets feel calm, safe, and cared for while they’re with me. I take the time to understand their unique needs and routines so they can feel as comfortable and secure as possible in your absence.

About: I have volunteered at a vet clinic, as well as volunteering at an animal rescue group. Recently adopted my very own feral cats Max and Mickey. I do 3 overnight shifts a week, so can spend all day with your animals making sure that they are having lots of walks, cuddles and play time. I only pet sit in clients home, due to apartment regulations as well as I have two cats. I always do a meet and greet with each client to discuss the pet’s needs and the best ways to take care of them.

“We returned from a 10 day trip to a calm and happy cat and a spotless house! Ally communicates quickly and consistently. We will definitely ask her back.”

“Rhaya did a fantastic job looking after my little girl Lucy while I was away for a week. She was punctual on her visits and followed my instructions to the letter with feeding times, fresh water changes and litter box cleaning. She played with Lucy and kept her company twice a day which I was so grateful for. Rhaya went out of her way to ensure Lucy was safe, healthy and entertained so as to not feel lonely. She was quick to send photos and updates to ease my mind and always briefed me daily on how she was doing ie.feeding, bathroom and her overall moods. I am very pleased with Rhaya, she was professional and very caring. I would recommend Rhaya to anyone looking for a sitter for their family member while away, they would be in good hands.”

About: I am a fitness enthusiast with a lifetime's experience being around and caring for horses, chickens, dogs and cats. It is so important to me that our furry friends get outside and get active. I have a deep love for large canines, and specialize in getting them their much needed exercise. There is no dog too big or too energetic for me! I am available most weekends, and weekday evenings after 4pm. Some early morning slots available pending discussion. Rain or shine, I will be there when you need me. Currently I am in a small detached suite, without a fenced yard. So care, exercise and play will take place in community spaces such as parks, fields and trails. I have a 2022 Kia Sportage, so pet transport is no problem for me.

“Danielle has an amazing way of bringing our the playfulness of our cat. She is dependable and does a great job for us. We highly recommend her for any pet sitting position.”

On my return, my cat was happy and didnt seem as lonely as he has on previous trips. Can't recommend Hannah highly enough!”

About: I've cared for a few dogs over the last several years. Neighbours, family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, house and love their dogs. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am free almost every afternoon and evening. Weekends after 1pm and Tuesday to Thursday I'm available all day. I am happy to come to your home to care for your pup, or take her for her walks. My yard is fenced, but my cats are territorial so I couldn't invite your pups over.

“This was our first time using a dog sitter...ever. I was very nervous about leaving our babies with a stranger. We were able to chat, check in. She sent me some photos. I know for sure I will use her again.”

About: If given the choice between becoming a multi-millionaire or having my beloved pets live as long as I do, I would choose the latter—without hesitation. Hi, I’m Codie, founder of Tails of the North, a pet care service I co-created with my fiancé, Jordan, here in beautiful North Vancouver. We are passionate about building a reliable, heart-led service for your four-legged companions. I’m currently welcoming new dog walking clients—both solo and pack walks, Monday through Friday—as well as housesitting opportunities. ⸻ 🐾 About Me Animals have always been at the center of my world. I bring a calm, grounded energy to every interaction and believe that animals can sense when they are in safe, loving hands. From a young age, I was taught that trust must be earned with animals—and I carry that principle into every introduction with your pet. I take pride in creating bonds that are rooted in empathy, curiosity, and care. I use positive reinforcement, structure, and lots of love to help animals feel secure, seen, and celebrated. Whether it’s a long walk in the rain or simply being present with a nervous pup, I am committed to being a consistent, compassionate presence in your pet’s life. ⸻ 🌿 My Background Originally from Vancouver Island, I recently relocated to the North Shore, leaving behind a loyal group of furry friends and clients that I cared for deeply. The journey of Tails of the North began when I adopted my spirited little mini Husky, Misha, during the pandemic. She reminded me of what truly lights me up—and helped me take the leap from the corporate world into a life and career filled with meaning. I’ve never looked back. This work is my calling. ⸻ 🐕 My Experience Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and needs. From playful puppies to wise seniors, from calm cuddlers to anxious or reactive pups—I meet every dog where they’re at with patience, understanding, and intention. My approach is gentle yet structured, informed by years of hands-on experience, client feedback, and ongoing research into animal behavior. Every dog I care for teaches me something new, and I’m endlessly inspired to continue learning and evolving. ⸻ 🐶 My Pets My bond with animals runs deep. At age ten, I met my first true teacher: Sammy, a 120-lb Shepherd-Malamute with a heart as big as his paws. He was my childhood protector, friend, and gentle giant. Today, I share my life with Misha, my brave and joyful mini Husky who continues to inspire me with her fearless curiosity and boundless spirit. She may be small, but her presence is mighty. To me, pets are not just companions—they are family. ⸻ 💫 My Promise to You When you trust me with your pet, you’re not just hiring a dog walker or sitter—you’re gaining a dedicated, detail-oriented caregiver who treats your animals and home with the highest level of respect and love. ✅ Your dog will be: • Safe, stimulated, exercised, and cared for • Showered with love and attention • Given personalized, routine-consistent care • Provided with frequent photo and video updates (yes, I’m that person) ✅ Your home will be: • Clean, tidy, and respected • Left exactly as you found it—or better My goal is to give both you and your pets peace of mind, joy, and support while you’re away or busy with life’s demands. ⸻ Let’s Connect I know how hard it can be to find someone you truly trust with your fur family. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions—or ask for references. I’d be happy to help you feel completely comfortable and confident in your decision. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet soon! Warmly, Codie Founder, Tails of the North North Vancouver, BC 🐾 ⸻ My schedule is fairly flexible. Ask me about dog walks and house sitting. I have most of the summer off to dedicate my time to your fur babies. I’m a naturally calm and grounded person, which allows me to tune into your pet’s unique personality, needs, and boundaries. I approach every animal with deep respect—honouring their routines and preferences, and caring for them as if they were my own. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are my top priorities. I follow all your instructions with care and attention to detail, and I take pride in maintaining a clean, respectful presence in your home. Most of our day is spent playing, exploring, walking, or visiting the beach—providing your dog with the physical activity and mental stimulation they need to stay happy and balanced. For pups who prefer a slower pace, I offer gentle companionship, enrichment activities, and quiet bonding time. I make sure your dog’s water and food are topped up as needed, and that they receive plenty of affection and attention along the way. My goal is always to ensure your pet feels safe, seen, and loved in your absence.

Very satisfied with Hannah's services, as always! She is quick to respond, very reliable and keeps our cat happy while we are away :)

Marti was so wonderful watching over my 2 cats while I was away for 2 weeks. I had to make a last minute booking and she was able to help me out right away! My cats are very shy and she played with them and even brought some extra toys! I really appreciated the daily updates too! Thank you so much Marti!

Kieran was wonderful with our cat, Storm. He sent us photo updates and was super easy-going and gentle energy—totally our vibe. We appreciated that he came to meet Storm before we left on our little holiday, too. He has such a calmness and natural kindness that both animals and people clearly respond to. Just an all-around awesome guy. If you’re looking for someone who’s relaxed, intuitive, and just gets it, definitely book with him
