About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. Most recently I trained a dog to mush. She is now living with my mother as a service dog for her social anxiety. My friends often lean on me to house and pet sit. I have a lot of experience with dogs who don't play well with other dogs or have some other kind of triggers. I am a tree planter and professional climber. My schedule is very flexible so I will be able to take care of your fur babies or just your house anytime 👍 Safety is a core value of mine in any aspect of my life. I will employ any safety measures required to take care of your pets.

“Gammy is the best! We left our cats, Hammy and Titus, in his care and we got back to healthy happy cats. Thank you so much for taking great care of them and the plants. We hope to be able to book with you again for our future needs. Thanks Gammy!!!”

About: I adore animals and have been caring for pets (my own and many others!) for many years. I approach animal care with respect and kindness. Every animal is unique and it's my job to make sure they are cared for in the way that works for them. I'm comfortable with senior pets, and have experience administering medications. I'll go the extra mile to make sure your aging pet is comfortable and happy. I work part-time, so my schedule is flexible. I recently moved to the Comox Valley and am looking forward to meeting new clients in my new community! I'm available for long or short-term requests, and am happy to take on regular clients needing regular walking or home visits. My wife Jessica is also an experienced petsitter and will join me for portions of my petsits as needed. She works remotely and can stay with your pet during the day if I'm at work. I'm committed to providing pet care in the way that works best for you. Let me know what works best for your pets in your home! If you're a new client, we'll set up a time for me to come meet your pets, learn about their routines, and pick up any needed keys/codes. Whether I spend an hour with your pet or a week, you'll get photo and video updates so you can feel secure in knowing your pet is safe and well cared-for!

About: I have experience with both cats and dogs, including senior dogs and cats with behavioural issues. From pet sitting, walking and administering medication, I have taken care of family, friends and co-workers' pets over the years. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to take care of your pet(s) at various times and frequencies throughout the day/week. As a pet parent myself, to a cat with specific needs, I truly understand how difficult it can be to leave your beloved pets in someone else’s care. That’s why safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. I will ensure they feel secure and at ease in every environment. My goal is to provide not only safe and attentive care but also a fun and positive experience that keeps your pet happy and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I grew up with dogs and have much experience dog sitting for friends and strangers alike. I have worked on a few farms and have cared for all sorts of animals, but especially love dogs. I've had great fun and positive experiences with many different breeds, big and small and everything in between. I just moved to the valley this year and would love to meet some local doggos! I run a small organic vegetable farm and while I am very busy in the summer, I currently have quite a bit of free time in the off-season. I would love to take your doggo out so we can explore together. I am not currently able to offer care in my home, but will certainly treat your homes with great respect while caring for your pets.

About: I have had dog and cat friends for as long as I can remember. For the past two years, I have been commissioned to take care of my friends and family members furry companions with increasing regularity and have decided that this the best possible way for me to continue doing what I enjoy. My availability is if flexible at the moment as I relocated to the Valley two years ago and have switched gears career-wise. My wife and I have a roommate so boarding is not an option. I am adaptable and consider myself extended family while continuing with daily routines and care needs for each individual furry friend. We will have a fun time together, guaranteed. I endeavour to respectfully leave you home the way I found it.

“Thank you so much to Bailey for keeping our little guy company. Would absolutely recommend Bailey for anyone looking for a great pet sitter.”

About: Hi everyone, I'm from Vancouver but have relocated to Courtenay to study an Animal Care Aide program in a few months. I have 10+ years of pet sitting experience, dog walking, administering medications, drop ins to check on your pet, and more. I have had pets my entire life and met my first bunny as a baby and fell in love. I've had hamsters, goldfish, guinea pigs, bunnies, cats and dogs so I have about 37 years of past experience caring for all animals but specialize in taking care of bunnies. I currently own a 3 year old Dwarf/Lop I absolutely adore. I trained him to use a litterbox and free roam and spin for treats. I take him out for walks every week to get some fresh air and he's incredibly well-behaved. I'm hoping to find some casual or part-time work here, even when I'm in school. If you are interested in any of my services, please don't hesitate to reach out and message me. I have a 3 year old bunny named Boris who is half Dwarf and half Lop at 4.7lbs. He is my everything and the first thing I do when I wake up is feed him his pellets in stacking cups and hide treats in his treat puzzle where he'll come to greet me good morning and give me kisses. I then clean his litterbox to keep up to his high standards as well as mine and after a lot of napping and play-time, I make his evening salad consisting of dark, leafy greens, a few bits of carrots, and a treat hiding inside I made myself, at home, using only fresh, natural ingredients. He gets his night-time pets and more play-time from there on and continues to play after I go to bed as bunny schedules tend to differ from humans. I'm not currently accepting boarding at my house as I'm not the only one living here and there is someone with allergies. I do, however, pet-sit when convenient for both parties for all kinds of animals and have no trouble with specific requirements one pet may have including administering medications. Feel free to ask me anything to determine if I would be a suitable fit to care for your loved one.

“Tatiana and Owen, Thank you so much for looking after our cat Cheeto! We couldn't be happier with the care. The pictures sent during his stay made our days away so much better. You come highly recommend by us!?”

About: I have always been the first one my friends and family members think of to look after their dogs. I genuienly love caring for them and being around them and I appreciate the trust that people have put into me to look after their babies. I currently full time look after pets or am working from home. Making me available to give your dog all the care and cuddles they need! (I’m heavily in this for the cuddles) I am very attentive, and loving. This means a lot to me and I’m always going to put the care of your pet first before anything else while they are with me.

About: Hey there! My name is Jodi and I’ve been living in the valley for ages and I'm a total pet lover. I work from my home studio as a creative/maker, so my schedule is super flexible! I've been taking care of dogs & cats for years now. I'm comfortable with giving medications orally, and I know my way around different collars and leashes, including e-collars. I've raised 2 cats and 4 dogs from when they were just tiny pups/kittens all the way to their golden years. Right now, I have a 60lb dog who's crate trained and we use an e-collar to help him make better choices, plus a little 6lb chihuahua who loves her heating pad and takes meds every day. I totally get that every pet is different and has their own needs. I'm pretty active too, usually walking over 7 km almost every day. I also know the local trails and pathways really well for all sorts of fun in the great outdoors! Since the majority of my time is working from home, my schedule is very flexible! Just let me know what you need and I will do my best to make it happen. I'm all about safety, especially when it comes to greeting puppers at the front door. I make sure all the doors and gates are locked up tight. At my place, both the front and back doors are totally fenced in. Plus, I know how to handle crate-trained pups and sneaky indoor cats like a pro!

About: I have raised my own silver lab husky cross Blue since he was a pup to be a very smart, sweet and active dog. I am looking to continue to share my love for animals with you and yours! My windows of time to share with your dog are very sporadic throughout the week depending on my shift work schedule. That being said, I would still love to use my l free time to take care of your pet! I have a large fenced yard and plenty of walking trails around my neighbourhood to take your dog on long walks or runs if that is what they need!

“Tahlia was great with our kitties and they looked like they were very well taken care and happy! She communicated well and followed directions with no concerns. I appreciated the peace of mind, while we were away at work.. We'd be happy to book her again :)”
