“Danielle dropped in on my senior lab Pearl while I was commuting from a Qualicum Beach Airbnb to Port Alberni for a new job. Danielle was very communicative and caring and my dog loved her! My dog can get anxious when a person leaves the house and by the second visit Danielle picked up on Pearl's anxiety and asked for ways to make that process better. Danielle was quick to make other suggestions to make Pearl more comfortable in the Airbnb (including putting calming music on the TV) that I continued to use myself. Overall Danielle was very kind and considerate to my dog and her needs and I would not hesitate to use her again!”

She was punctual on her visits and followed my instructions to the letter with feeding times, fresh water changes and litter box cleaning. She played with Lucy and kept her company twice a day which I was so grateful for. Rhaya went out of her way to ensure Lucy was safe, healthy and entertained so as to not feel lonely. She was quick to send photos and updates to ease my mind and always briefed me daily on how she was doing ie.feeding, bathroom and her overall moods. About: I have been in the pet care business for over 10 years. From doggie walks to overnight stays. I understand what it takes to be a loving and responsible care giver as I have needed to have a person care for my pets when I'm away. We all need to feel the confidence when putting the trust into a person who will be caring for our family members. Communication is key with regular updates. I am semi retired and there are days where I will be away from the home for approx. 6 hours while caring for your pet. I am available for most days other than my time away. Only looking to book locally . Making sure I understand all the pet care details, having them written down to make sure all is being done correctly. Regular communication between the parties.
“I contacted Dorothy months ahead about a drop-in type visit while my husband and I were to be visiting Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, from California for a family wedding. I scheduled with Dorothy to come to our travel trailer in the Living Forest Campground and RV Park for the Meet n Greet to not only meet us, but how to get in our trailer, all about the dogs and their needs. Dorthy listened to all that was needed and then contacted me by text during the scheduled evening when we were gone to let us know she’d been there and handled everything. There were three dogs to walk in two trailers and Dorothy fed each one and took them for walks to get their business done; what a lifesaver she was so that we could be gone for an extended time and all was handled. I recommend Dorothy without hesitation and will use her again if we ever come back to Nanaimo.”
