About: We have had pets our entire life. Now retired and travel a few months a year, so currently without a pet because of our travels. Missing the love of our own pets (Scruffy lived to 17 and Cedes lived to 16). So we have decided that the love of your pets, would be lovely and would benefit all involved. We live 2 blocks from the beach, which gives the dogs a great run and or swim permitting of course :) My wife and I are both retired and walk to the beach everyday, would be nice to have a dog to walk with us. For the evenings it would be nice to cuddle up to a dog or cat. We live on the bottom floor of a pet friendly building, with access to a yard. We do have a wrap around deck with a 2 foot brick wall/planter that is gated to large partially fenced yard. Pics attached. We both have knowledge of caring for both dogs and cats.

About: I’ve owned a husky shepherd in the past and have been caring for and being around dogs since I was a kid. I love walking and running with dogs on local trails especially if their recall is good, but can also do leashed walks and park plays. I’ve fostered puppies in the past and also babysat senior dogs for friends. I work from home in Port Alberni and I have a fenced in yard. I’m able to provide great and thorough care during the work day and evenings. I often work from a cozy space in my garage that has big patio doors opening to the yard so pups can enjoy outside time while supervised. I like to take run or walk breaks during the day as well. I have a fenced yard which is great for dogs who visit or come to stay. I do have two cats so I am more keen to board and dog sit pups that are good with cats. I do have the ability to separate a dog from the cats for shorter stays.

About: Growing up with dogs and horses i always knew my passion laid with animals. I have since graduated from the animal health technology program and work full time at the local veterinary hospital. i can provide overnight care, walking and am very comfortable giving medications, fluids, i can also provide nail trims and anal gland expressions I work 10 hour days tues-friday! I’m usually home by 5:45 pm after work. I’m around most of the day on the weekends :) ! I will take care of your pet like they're my own, I am happy to stay at your place with them to keep them as comfortable as possible
