“I have known Alabama and Braydon for a number of years. I got my Akbash, Theo, a few months before they got Copper and have seen them manage puppies/teenage dogs with admirable patience and gentleness. As the dogs have grown up, Theo and I have had the pleasure of camping trips, hikes, and overnight visits made stress free with Alabama and Braydon's ability to accommodate the needs of our dogs. Theo is true to his nature of being a livestock guardian and is mostly content just laying and watching other dogs do their thing, Alabama and Braydon are always willing to give him a snuggle while he is avoiding physical exercise. Theo and Copper always have good chase and wrestle sessions when we get the dogs together but when Theo is tired of playing, Alabama and Braydon are diligent in giving the dogs necessary breaks and cater to each dogs needs. I have seen Copper one on one and with a pack of dogs with varying degrees of energy and he is always ready to play or give space as needed.”

About: I’ve owned a husky shepherd in the past and have been caring for and being around dogs since I was a kid. I love walking and running with dogs on local trails especially if their recall is good, but can also do leashed walks and park plays. I’ve fostered puppies in the past and also babysat senior dogs for friends. I work from home in Port Alberni and I have a fenced in yard. I’m able to provide great and thorough care during the work day and evenings. I often work from a cozy space in my garage that has big patio doors opening to the yard so pups can enjoy outside time while supervised. I like to take run or walk breaks during the day as well. I have a fenced yard which is great for dogs who visit or come to stay. I do have two cats so I am more keen to board and dog sit pups that are good with cats. I do have the ability to separate a dog from the cats for shorter stays.

About: Recently retired from a career in Real Estate, I am offering cat sitting services; in my home preferably but I will travel within my own neighborhood and sometimes out of town. My first client "Oscar" stayed with me three times. I have also been an approved foster care cat home for 8+ years with our local cat shelter "Kitty Cat Pals". I love cats and have a lot of experience with them from kittens to seniors. I have had cats since I was a baby and a few small dogs along the way as well; shelties, pomeranians, and a miniture poodle. I love to meet new pets and care for them for like minded pet owners. I love to cuddle on the couch watching movies with a pet so your pet will get lots of cuddles and attention. I have two spacious designated rooms with 3 cat pens, nightlights, music, fresh air, heat, fans, 55" TV, couch and chairs plus panoramic views of mountains, ocean and bird santuary. I will spend lots of time with your pet watching TV and snuggling on the couch. If you own a small dog, I can accommodate if ok with cats or if there are no cats in boarding rooms at the time. About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life and have a special connection with them. I know how to bathe, groom, walk, train and administer medicine. I am especially good with cranky and senior dogs:) Unfortunately, due to a medical ailment I am not currently able to work a full time job or go to uni so I’m highly available! About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was a little kid and always had some in my house. I'm incredibly responsible and organized and I love pets. I'm working full time during the week so available full time for boarding on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. If anything outside of these hours is necessary I will try my best to accommodate and be clear about any limitations. I have a large partially fenced (soon to be fully fenced) front and back yard with a cute rancher home. There are awesome Forest trails at the end of my road which are great for dog walks.
