About: I love dogs and animals and miss having them in my life. I grew up in Calgary with a border collie named Bowser and we went on many adventures such as hiking and exploring. I have looked after friends pets and have begun volunteering with MARS wildlife rescue and would like to be more involved in the community here in the Valley. I am able to walk pets at least twice a day or come and look after your pet at their home. I am a responsible individual who takes pride in being on time and detail oriented with strong active listening skills. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! Previously i have been blessed with a Persian cat, a Sheltie, Terrier, Shepherd cross with a whippet (yes beautiful mix), two Golden Retrievers and several other cats. I Also currently volunteer at Alberni SPCA. I lost my 12 year old Golden last year 😥, and cannot emotionally commit to own another dog, so the next best thing for me is to dog sit your fur kids and volunteer my time at the shelter. I devote my volunteer time to snuggling cats and dogs, as well as providing wellness to dogs through walks, positive reinforcement training and cleaning their kennels. I have also taken care of chickens!! I work remotely and have a reliable vehicle so provided you have good wifi for my remote work, my schedule can be tailored to your needs! About: I grew up working in farming. Sheep and cattle. I’ve owned and extensively worked with Border Collies, Great Pyrenees and Maremmas. I have since moved into town and own a french bull dog and a lovely cat. I love spending time with dogs, caring for dogs and taking them on fun outings. I work part time with a flexible schedule and have plenty of time and energy to care of fluffy friends. I am very active and frequent the many walking trails and hikes in the area on a daily bases with my dog Francis. I believe nearly every activity of daily life is more fun with an animal in tow. I have a large fully fenced yard and a large five bedroom house. No small children. I have a well mannered french bulldog and a lovely cat. They are very well socialized. I would prefer to pet sit in my own home but am happy to also go to yours.
