I felt super comfortable as soon as I met Mae and was very confident in her ability to look after our dog who has some special needs. Great communication, and she sent us photos throughout the two days. Also, Kona absolutely adored her, and came back each day a very happy and well looked after doggo. Would highly recommend Mae to anyone!”

“We have had Zack take care of our home and watch over our beloved animals on multiple occasions. We really appreciated Zack’s dedication and care to our animals (two dogs, cat and over forty chickens). He was responsible for the care of all the animals and also collected the eggs, washed and put them out at our farm stand, he took the dogs for numerous walks per day, made sure our outdoor cat Steve got some daily attention. We are beyond grateful to Zack for his service and can’t wait to hire him again for our next trip.”

About: I grew up always having a family dog in the house, teaching me dog care from an early age. After moving out of my parents house I continued caring for friends and family’s dogs whenever they are out of town. I have experience with various breeds and will ensure your dog receives daily exercise and companionship. I am comfortable managing different energy levels and personalities. I am currently between jobs so will be mostly home with your dog. My husband works part time and between the two of us someone will be usually be home. We have a fenced in yard. I always prioritize safety, whether that’s during walks or playtime, ensuring all interactions are positive and secure. Any overnight boarding will require our dogs meet beforehand to ensure they can get along. We have a crate if you like your dog to be crated.

“My partner and I are from Victoria and planned a last minute ski trip to Mt Washington. However, we we’re unable to find pet friendly accommodation right on the mountain. We searched Rover for someone close to Mt Washington and found Cherese. Cherese was absolutely lovely and I would highly recommend her to friends/family. She communicated promptly throughout the two night boarding. She asked questions about my dog, provided updates, pictures and videos. I learned Cherese and her family have many years experience working with animals (especially dogs). My dog can be nervous and overwhelmed easily, however Nico blended right in with the pack! My dog was excellently cared for by Cherese. We had a relaxed ski trip knowing Nico was in good hands. Next trip up island, I’m booking again. ?”

About: Life long dog owner who is available to exercise & care for your dog! Your dog will be walked locally, including in North East Woods, as agreed upon. I'm a part time worker / retiree available to care for your pet. Ideally, your dog will be friends with our 15 year old Schnauzer and collectively they will be walked and allowed to explore! I have have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. In our home is an elderly friendly elderly Schnauzer and an elusive cat. Just 2 blocks further from our house is the North East Woods for great dog walking.

About: I absolutely love dogs and have had my own for 15 years. I have years of experience taking care of all types of dogs for family and friends. I work part time and I am in school remotely. I have a relatively flexible schedule and will try to accommodate times that works for you! I would love to take care of your fur baby at my home, or take them for walks or runs! I have grown up with dogs my whole life absolutely love them! I am very happy to walk or run with the dog as much as needed as I’m a student at UBC taking my degree remotely. I have a fenced in yard on 2 1/2 acres with two small friendly dogs to keep your dog company. There are no children in the house but I do live with my parents and my sister.
