“Susan was great with my fur baby. I was in and out of service a good portion of the weekend, but every now and then I would get updates on how my Pooch was doing with photos. In addition, she had the service of pickup and drop off, which was extremely helpful for me as I was tied up helping with the wedding. Previously, my only option had been taking Sitka to a boarding kennel. Every time it would be about a week of her coming down from all the stress and anxiety of being around all the barking misbehaved dogs. Typically would come back with some kind of stomach indigestion. The important thing, is that she needs medication twice a day, and with the boarding kennel I really wondered how consistent the medication administration was. About: I have done drop ins and had friends/family dogs stay with me for the last 2 years and have owned my own (not anymore) dogs on and off for my whole life A pet lover with time to spare. I currently work 5 hours a day during the week and can provide early morning, afternoon and evening visits. I have a large fenced front and back yard. All animals must be well socialized with children if they are staying here, otherwise I can do drop-ins without children.

About: We had to say goodbye to our sweet dog last fall and would welcome some occasional furry love in our home again! I understand what’s involved in taking care of a dog properly, all while giving them love and attention. I raised a vizsla dog from puppy through to senior and passing on. He had epilepsy which required daily medication his whole life, was a high energy alpha male, and had lots of minor medical issues. I also grew up with a collie-shepherd rescue when I was younger. During the summer months I don’t work, so looking to add a furry friend to our family while I’m home. I have kids, so while we may go out for occasional outings, if the dog isn’t joining us, the dog would only be home for a few hours. During the school year, I would only be gone weekdays for 4-6 hours. I have a fenced rural property (just under an acre) on the edge of Comox, with access to trails and beaches, galore! There is a mudroom inside our home that is a safe place to leave a dog, or a crate if they feel safe. My children understand how to approach and treat dogs carefully and respectfully (they are 7 and 10 years old). With some blankets on the couch, your dog is welcome up for some cuddles! The house is well setup for a dog, as our last one lived here too. There is always access to fresh water for your pup, we have a walk in shower with easy access from the door on tile, and our home is a comfortable temperature year round with a heat pump.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl! My brother and I grew up with cats , Guinea pigs , dogs and bunny’s! I now own a 3 year old little weiner dog who is very friendly and loves to play! She makes a great companion and friend for your animal if they get along with others! I took care of my elderly grandparents dog for many years. Walking her daily, taking her to appointments and grooming her! I understand the nerves of leaving your pet with a sitter. I will treat them just as my own, I am a very well trusted person who has a deep love for animals as I can assure you your pet is safe with me! I am a bartender and I work 4 days a week, I work short shifts anywhere from 4-6 hours! I’m available most parts of the day as I usually work nights. About: I have taken care of animals as small as cats and Shih Tzus all the way up to Irish Wolfhounds and horses! No animal is too big or small! (Excluding boarding since I can’t exactly bring a horse into my apartment haha) I am currently working part time so I can likely find time to fit in the pup. I am quite flexible and the animals come first! At my home the puppers would have 2-3 walks per day and potty breaks every 2-4 hours depending on the pup! About: Kelly grew up in a household who’s mom’s part time job was a dog sitter/ boarder so 10 years of living at home in my adulthood taught me a lot! I’ve taken care of most breeds of dogs and have lots of experience taking care of them, meeting their needs and training if needed. My uncle and grandfather are also both veterinarians so volunteering at their clinic growing up taught me a lot and is nice to have them as an emergency contact for any questions. Ian grew up in a household of dogs his whole life, having breeds including Tibetan terrier, labs and retrievers. We live on a 0.3acre greatly fenced property and love having extra friends around to take on adventures or play fetch and be cozy at home. About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl! My brother and I grew up with cats , Guinea pigs , dogs and bunny’s! I now own a 3 year old little weiner dog who is very friendly and loves to play! She makes a great companion and friend for your animal if they get along with others! I took care of my elderly grandparents dog for many years. Walking her daily, taking her to appointments and grooming her! I understand the nerves of leaving your pet with a sitter. I will treat them just as my own, I am a very well trusted person who has a deep love for animals as I can assure you your pet is safe with me! I am a bartender and I work 4 days a week, I work short shifts anywhere from 4-6 hours! I’m available most parts of the day as I usually work nights. I will be able to stop in the morning and afternoon and then evening after my shift to look after your furry friend! If your dog loves company I have a three year old weiner dog who loves other animals! She’s extremely friendly and loves to chase! I have .5 of an acre backyard they can run around in. I walk my dog Olive twice a day every day anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hour. I can bring yours along with me! I have a very quiet and calming space with a big yard surrounded by trees! My mother lives above me in the house and I can leave my dog upstairs if they do not get along or that is not something you’re comfortable with!

About: I always dogsit our friends' dogs and I LOVE it. I have experience with animals that need special cares and I can manage a couch potatoes or an high energy pooch. I already walk or/and run daily with my dog. I have a big fence yard and work from home. My lifestyle fits well with having animals. I can have your furry baby for a few hours, days or weeks, depending on the fit and needs. I have two friendly animals (cat and dog).
About: Over 12 years of experience with dogs and cats: training, walking, feeding, and loving care. Reliable, attentive, and passionate about every pet’s unique individual needs. I work online from home so am free to take care of your pups all day long. Late pick up and early drop offs are welcome by request. Dogs stay comfortably in my home, couch time included! They’ll have fresh water and meals (provided by their owner) throughout their stay. Treats and poop bags are always on hand. Pups can enjoy a home-like environment with qualified supervision. The front yard is fully fenced for play time and potty breaks.
