About: I have done drop ins and had friends/family dogs stay with me for the last 2 years and have owned my own (not anymore) dogs on and off for my whole life A pet lover with time to spare. I currently work 5 hours a day during the week and can provide early morning, afternoon and evening visits. I have a large fenced front and back yard. All animals must be well socialized with children if they are staying here, otherwise I can do drop-ins without children.

About: Had dogs all my life and trained and rehabilitated my 15 year old border collie. Recently said good bye to both family dogs. Experience with puppies, senior dogs, unique dog medical needs, and nervous dispositions. I work full time from home, can offer daily dog walks, very active family life on the weekend. Dogs can come along for any and all the adventures where appropriate. Biking, hiking, beach plays, trail runs. Back yard not fenced, very friendly German Shepard shares the yard. Steps away from the beach so many strolls for sniffs and pee breaks. One very excited toddler to pet and play. Has learned to be gentle with dogs.

Their property is perfect for dogs, allowing them a safe space to explore the outdoors, as well as a lovely dog friendly home (which they puppy proofed for Luna!). They have two border collies that welcomed Luna into their pack. Luna came back to us very happy and well behaved. About: We had to say goodbye to our sweet dog last fall and would welcome some occasional furry love in our home again! I understand what’s involved in taking care of a dog properly, all while giving them love and attention. I raised a vizsla dog from puppy through to senior and passing on. He had epilepsy which required daily medication his whole life, was a high energy alpha male, and had lots of minor medical issues. I also grew up with a collie-shepherd rescue when I was younger. During the summer months I don’t work, so looking to add a furry friend to our family while I’m home. I have kids, so while we may go out for occasional outings, if the dog isn’t joining us, the dog would only be home for a few hours. During the school year, I would only be gone weekdays for 4-6 hours. I have a fenced rural property (just under an acre) on the edge of Comox, with access to trails and beaches, galore! There is a mudroom inside our home that is a safe place to leave a dog, or a crate if they feel safe. My children understand how to approach and treat dogs carefully and respectfully (they are 7 and 10 years old). With some blankets on the couch, your dog is welcome up for some cuddles! The house is well setup for a dog, as our last one lived here too. There is always access to fresh water for your pup, we have a walk in shower with easy access from the door on tile, and our home is a comfortable temperature year round with a heat pump.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl! My brother and I grew up with cats , Guinea pigs , dogs and bunny’s! I now own a 3 year old little weiner dog who is very friendly and loves to play! She makes a great companion and friend for your animal if they get along with others! I took care of my elderly grandparents dog for many years. Walking her daily, taking her to appointments and grooming her! I understand the nerves of leaving your pet with a sitter. I will treat them just as my own, I am a very well trusted person who has a deep love for animals as I can assure you your pet is safe with me! I am a bartender and I work 4 days a week, I work short shifts anywhere from 4-6 hours! I’m available most parts of the day as I usually work nights. I will be able to stop in the morning and afternoon and then evening after my shift to look after your furry friend! If your dog loves company I have a three year old weiner dog who loves other animals! She’s extremely friendly and loves to chase! I have .5 of an acre backyard they can run around in. I walk my dog Olive twice a day every day anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hour. I can bring yours along with me! I have a very quiet and calming space with a big yard surrounded by trees! My mother lives above me in the house and I can leave my dog upstairs if they do not get along or that is not something you’re comfortable with!
