“It was great having Tilly board with Amber- she was fabulous with our girl, providing her with lots of stimulation, and us with updates and pictures. I have no reservations is whole-heartedly recommending Amber :)”

“Denyse is SO great. It was clear our dog loved her, he turned around when he left to give her a little touch on the nose goodbye, which was so sweet and it really warmed my heart. We would recommend her 100% and will continue to bring our dog back to her in the future.”

“Jim and his family did a wonderful job looking after Stella! Jim very kindly accommodated us on short notice, was very friendly and communicative, and stayed in regular contact during Stella's stay. Stella came home looking happy and energized. Wouldn't hesitate to have Stella say over again!”

About: I have always had a dog since a young age mostly large breeds (ridgebacks and labs) and now currently a small breed (frenchton). I also had many cats as a kid. I often take care of friends/family pets when they are away or at work. While I do not have any rover experience yet, I am a very responsible dog owner, mother, home owner and entrepreneur. Your pets will be safe and cared for with me! I work Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm. I have flexibility in my days/schedule and can leave to walk or to let animals outside. I am a morning person and love to be outdoors and to get fresh air before work. Weekends I am often outdoors and I am not afraid of the rain (I lived in Tofino for 16 years haha). I do have kids in the house 50% of the time ages 8 and 10. I also have a Frenchton Frida age 4 who is very chill and friendly. My kids have grown up with my mom’s two giant Rhodesian ridgebacks their entire lives so we are all used to big dogs too! We adore pets and treat them like a part of the family. We cuddle on the couch with Frida and she sleeps in bed with the kids. We have a fully fenced secure back yard and love going on walks through the forest and to the fields nearby to throw a ball. Another favourite for us is beach walks. If your dog is calm there is also the option of them coming to work with me too. Frida typically joins me at work and snoozes behind the desk in her little bed.

“Jennifer was so accommodating and took care of our high needs dog with ease! He was not feeling well and she still took him on and gave all the meds etc. He was well loved and got lots of walks and snuggles! Highly recommend!”

“This was our dog's first long separation from us and Adam was great. Our dog really took a liking to him and enjoyed hanging out with his dog, Mr. Pitts. Adam was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and attentive to meal and snacks. Will go back to Adam next time.”

“I felt completely relieved leaving my cat with Susan. She has a superb set up, beautiful property and most importantly, she cares deeply about what she’s doing and the animals that stay with her. She updated me daily and was very attentive and thorough in her process with my cat. Would love to have him stay with her again in the future.”

“Taryn is absolutely terrific! I really appreciated the active communication, she sent lots of photos updates and it was easy to tell the great care that our girl was receiving. Taryn was flexible and accommodating to our requests leaving us very at ease. Will most definitely book again and would recommend to anyone! 😊 thank you so much again!”

About: Hi everyone, I'm from Vancouver but have relocated to Courtenay to study an Animal Care Aide program in a few months. I have 10+ years of pet sitting experience, dog walking, administering medications, drop ins to check on your pet, and more. I have had pets my entire life and met my first bunny as a baby and fell in love. I've had hamsters, goldfish, guinea pigs, bunnies, cats and dogs so I have about 37 years of past experience caring for all animals but specialize in taking care of bunnies. I currently own a 3 year old Dwarf/Lop I absolutely adore. I trained him to use a litterbox and free roam and spin for treats. I take him out for walks every week to get some fresh air and he's incredibly well-behaved. I'm hoping to find some casual or part-time work here, even when I'm in school. If you are interested in any of my services, please don't hesitate to reach out and message me. I have a 3 year old bunny named Boris who is half Dwarf and half Lop at 4.7lbs. He is my everything and the first thing I do when I wake up is feed him his pellets in stacking cups and hide treats in his treat puzzle where he'll come to greet me good morning and give me kisses. I then clean his litterbox to keep up to his high standards as well as mine and after a lot of napping and play-time, I make his evening salad consisting of dark, leafy greens, a few bits of carrots, and a treat hiding inside I made myself, at home, using only fresh, natural ingredients. He gets his night-time pets and more play-time from there on and continues to play after I go to bed as bunny schedules tend to differ from humans. I'm not currently accepting boarding at my house as I'm not the only one living here and there is someone with allergies. I do, however, pet-sit when convenient for both parties for all kinds of animals and have no trouble with specific requirements one pet may have including administering medications. Feel free to ask me anything to determine if I would be a suitable fit to care for your loved one.

“This lovely family took such good care of Opie. I know he was a bit of a brat but they handled him well. He loved their boys and was so tired he slept for 2 days. Thank you for your care and attention.”

“Avery, Matt and Scout took very good care of my Aussie girl Lou! Communication was great, got some photos during her 3-night stay and always had the feeling she was in good hands! Thanks so much again :)”

“Arnold had the best time, lots of walks and adventures we can tell by him being very satisfied and passed out when making our way back to tofino, looks like he found his favorite people for when we're going snowboarding!”

“Ben and Grace were awesome with Kye our dog. Took them to the park, lake, beach, everywhere for the 5 day stay. She had a better vacation than we did! Ben and Grace also worked with us to make a smooth transition for our place to their place so Kye didn’t have any negative reactions to us leaving her with a “stranger”. We will be using them again!”
