“Janine was wonderful. She took great care of my little beastie, Squeeks, and was very accommodating about picking up and dropping off keys at a nearby location. She sent pics daily and was clearly someone who knew how to play with cats.”

About: Hi! I am a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I share my home with my 3 year old bulldog so I understand the important of exercise, enrichment, routine, and plenty of affection. Over the years, I've cared for many dogs and have been a go to pet sitter for friends and family when they've needed someone reliable to look after their pets. Whether its daily walks, playtime, feeding, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I take that responsibility very seriously. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for when you are not around, while giving you peace of mind knowing they are in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I currently work as an auxiliary administrative assistant with The City of Campbell River so my schedule is always changing, I am often home for many days without working so caring for furry friends is the perfect way to pass the time. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize maintaining their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive exercise and companionship. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl! My brother and I grew up with cats , Guinea pigs , dogs and bunny’s! I now own a 3 year old little weiner dog who is very friendly and loves to play! She makes a great companion and friend for your animal if they get along with others! I took care of my elderly grandparents dog for many years. Walking her daily, taking her to appointments and grooming her! I understand the nerves of leaving your pet with a sitter. I will treat them just as my own, I am a very well trusted person who has a deep love for animals as I can assure you your pet is safe with me! I am a bartender and I work 4 days a week, I work short shifts anywhere from 4-6 hours! I’m available most parts of the day as I usually work nights. I will be able to stop in the morning and afternoon and then evening after my shift to look after your furry friend! If your dog loves company I have a three year old weiner dog who loves other animals! She’s extremely friendly and loves to chase! I have .5 of an acre backyard they can run around in. I walk my dog Olive twice a day every day anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hour. I can bring yours along with me! I have a very quiet and calming space with a big yard surrounded by trees! My mother lives above me in the house and I can leave my dog upstairs if they do not get along or that is not something you’re comfortable with!

“Fiona did daily visits to our cat Kinder while we were away for a week. Communication was easy and she took a lot of time to cuddle with our cat and we appreciate that! Highly recommended”
“Anthony took great care of my cat when I was away, she is very anxious and shy but I felt confident leaving my cat with him, he even took my mail in and sent me updates and a little video to reassure me! I would definitively book Anthony again!!”

About: I have done pet sitting for family and friends for many years now and recently have wanted to do it more professionally! I love all animals and am knowledgeable in dog and cat behaviour to make them the most comfortable they can be. I am currently working the majority from home and have extra time on my hands to do some pet sitting and spend that extra time with the pets :) Up until recently I was caring for my senior pup and had to put a bit extra into caring for him and couldnt leave him at alone for extended periods of time so I am definitely comfortable with those pets that need the extra love and care!
“Marie is so sweet and great at communicating!! She eased all my worries leaving my little Goose home alone for the first time and sent me updates and photos every day 🐱 🥰”

“Holly did multiple house visits with our dog. It is great to have someone reliable to come check on our pup and she has also accepted requests on short notice too. She is our go to person. Definitely recommending her.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats, and by my teenage years I was the go-to pet sitter for friends, family and friends of friends. Over time, that turned into paid, freelance work caring for both cats and dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs. I have experience with both kittens/puppies and senior pets, including those who need oral medication, and I’m comfortable caring for multiple animals at once while keeping their routines and needs separate and respected. What matters most to me is that your pet feels safe and not disrupted while you’re away. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Every animal is different, and I follow your routines, your preferences, and your pet’s cues. Some animals want play and energy, others want space and a calm presence. I’m attentive to that and adjust accordingly. I’m calm, gentle, and patient with animals. I respect their space and let them come to me, which tends to work especially well for shy or more sensitive pets. At the same time, I genuinely love connecting with animals, so if your pet is the cuddly type, they’ll get plenty of affection too. Because I work from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my day. I can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs, whether that’s more frequent bathroom breaks, check-ins, or sticking closely to a specific routine. I offer a free meet and greet so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. This also helps me understand your pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can care for them properly. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around visits, walks, and check-ins rather than trying to squeeze them in around a rigid workday. That means I can show up consistently, adjust timing when needed, and be responsive if something changes, whether that’s an extra visit, a longer walk, or a quick check-in. Since all of my services take place in my client’s home, my focus is on keeping things as familiar and consistent as possible for your pet. I follow your routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I pay attention to your pet’s behaviour and comfort level, adjusting my approach based on their energy, personality, and needs in the moment. For drop-ins and walks, I make sure your pet gets the right balance of care, whether that’s exercise, enrichment, or simply some calm company. For house sitting, I maintain a steady presence so your pet can stay relaxed in their own space while you’re away. I also take care to keep your home tidy and respected, so you can come back to everything just as you left it.
“Kenya is great and I will continue to book with her in the future! She was able to accommodate a last minute booking for me and was very gentle and understanding with my cat that has special needs. I felt comfortable and confident leaving my pet in her care and would recommend her to others.”

“Binou and Chimi both love Amelia. They were immediately at ease and I know they’ve had a lot of fun together. I would highly recommend Amelia-she is dependable, my dogs love her and she keeps me updated! I feel at ease knowing she is looking after them!”

“I highly recommend Carissa to anyone needing a cat sitter. I felt very trustworthy in her right away, she is so lovely and clearly a huge cat lover. She left hilarious detailed messages for me each day and loads of pics of her having a great time with my kitties. It is a great feeling knowing your kitties are in good hands, and Carissa is clearly very experienced and reliable when it comes to your babies!”

About: I’ve had pets all through out my life. I am very accommodating and have the most patience when it comes to animals. I love training, and am very familiar with the puppy phase, i’m a pro at midnight potty breaks. If your pet has any routines or weird quirks they enjoy, I love to provide! I currently volunteer at a local shelter and am starting a part time position in April, so I am very available right now, and will be flexible working around my schedule when the time comes. I love positive reinforcement, I don’t believe any animal being submissive or fearful is the goal, respect goes both ways. If you work on training or certain cues I’m more then happy to incorporate them in walks or with meals.
“My girl Teaka had a great time with Bailey. You could tell when i picked her up how they interacted together & she gave him kisses before we left. I had a full day of errands around Abbotsford / Chilliwack and coming far out of town it was difficult for me to syncronize everything but Bailey was so accomodating & it made my day much smoother. I would happily leave Teaka with Bailey again.”

“Gammy is the best! We left our cats, Hammy and Titus, in his care and we got back to healthy happy cats. Thank you so much for taking great care of them and the plants. We hope to be able to book with you again for our future needs. Thanks Gammy!!!”
