About: Hi there! I recently said goodbye to my senior dog, Riley, who was just shy of 13. He was my daily walking buddy, my constant companion, and truly the heart of my home. Losing him has left a big space in my life, and I find myself missing the simple joy of walking with a four-legged friend and sharing that unconditional love and companionship. Because Riley was a senior boy, I have lots of experience supporting older dogs—everything from giving medications to understanding their changing energy levels and mobility needs. I also cared for a cat with long-term health issues for several years, so I’m very comfortable with gentle handling, special routines, and pets who need a little extra attention. Ian has also been around dogs his entire life and helped with Rileys care the last year of his life. His current furry best freind is Sophia the frenchie. He is such a great dog dad to her, making sure her health and wellness is always top priority... and if you know about french bull dogs you would understand this!! ;) We would both love the opportunity to spend time with your dogs, get back to those peaceful walks in nature, and offer the same patience, care, and kindness that we give to our own animals. Whether your pet is young and full of energy or a slow-moving senior with a big heart, We would be honoured to help them feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I am self employed and have a somewhat flexible schedule with various times available to visit your pet or take them for a walk. I am available most mornings, several evenings and weekends. Ian is available most weeknights and weekends. We pay close attention to the little details and will follow any instructions you share so your pet has everything they need to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: I have had a great love of all animals for as long as I’ve lived! I would love to walk/pet sit dogs whenever I can just to get more quality time with dogs in my life! I had worked in the retail sector of the pet care industry for 10+ years. The absolute best part of my job was getting to see the dogs that come in the store with their happy little wiggle-butts! I absolutely adore cats and have three of my own. I would be thrilled to pet sit for your cats as well! I have also spent time volunteering with a local cat rescue, where I learned about different types of care and medication administration I am currently focusing on gaining new clients and furry friends via Rover. About: Hi there, my name is Tamara! It's nice to meet you. I'm a registered diagnostic medical sonographer that works between the hospitals in Comox Valley & in Campbell River. My work involves creating a connection with people, a love of anatomy.... and sitting in a dark room for 8 hours a day! Taking care of your furry friend not only means they get their beloved outdoor time, but I get mine too. I have grown up around dogs most of my life, and look forward to the day I can adopt my own. Until then, I'm so grateful for the connections I get to make with your furry family member, and to help you find peace of mind while they're in my hands. Please let me know, if it's ever a weekend visit, if you'd like me to take your dog for a hike. My husband and I like to get outdoors on our days off, and will happily take your dog along if you think they could really burn off some energy. I have experience in training as well, so if there's certain commands or habits you're trying to reach your dog, let me know so I can continue that work while they're with me. I'm comfortable with medication too, as my family dog is in his senior years (14 years young!) and requires the odd medication when his age shows. !!Currently located: Comox My hours vary Monday-Friday with work. My start time ranges between 6am-9am, and ends 8hrs after that. When I work in Comox, I can let your dog out on my lunch break. However, I cannot do that when I'm working in Campbell River, so they'd have to be okay with being left alone for 8hrs until my husband can let them out on those days. I'll be sure to let you know! My place isn't pet friendly so I unfortunately cannot have your pet over. However, house sitting will involve plenty of walks and couch snuggles! On weekends, my husband and I usually get outside, hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking even (if your dog is a trail dog!), so let us know if that's something your pet would be up to doing.

About: I have a 2.5 year old golden doodle Dolly, who gets on with all dogs. Happy to take your dog on walks, host at my place or dog sit at yours! I work from home and am available all days/times! We go on a big walk in the morning, one at lunch and one before dinner. I live in a house with a yard close to the river. We are active and love hiking, biking and being outdoors. My house is safe and secure.

About: I’ve had pets all through out my life. I am very accommodating and have the most patience when it comes to animals. I love training, and am very familiar with the puppy phase, i’m a pro at midnight potty breaks. If your pet has any routines or weird quirks they enjoy, I love to provide! I currently volunteer at a local shelter and am starting a part time position in April, so I am very available right now, and will be flexible working around my schedule when the time comes. I love positive reinforcement, I don’t believe any animal being submissive or fearful is the goal, respect goes both ways. If you work on training or certain cues I’m more then happy to incorporate them in walks or with meals.

About: Hi everyone, I currently own a 3 year old bunny named Boris who is half Dwarf and half Lop at 4.7lbs. He is my everything and the first thing I do when I wake up is feed him his pellets in stacking cups and hide treats in his treat puzzle where he'll come to greet me good morning and give me kisses. I then clean his litterbox to keep up to his high standards as well as mine and add fresh tomothy hay. After a lot of napping and play-time for him, he waits patiently at his dinner area for his evening salad consisting of dark, leafy greens, a few bits of carrots, and treats hiding inside which I make myself, at home, using only fresh, natural ingredients. He gets his night-time pets and hay cubes and more play-time from there on out and continues to play after I go to bed as bunny schedules tend to differ from humans. I'm not currently accepting boarding at my house as I'm not the only one living here and there are some people with allergies. I do, however, pet-sit when convenient for both parties for all kinds of animals and have no trouble with specific dietary requirements your pet may have including administering medications. Feel free to ask me anything to determine if I would be a suitable fit to care for your fur baby.
